Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing.
The Riad is a hidden gem.All staff were helpful and professional. The ladies did a fantastic job with cooking breakfast and cleaning the rooms.Badr was very helpful in the evenings. Ahmed was exceptionally outstanding. He welcomed us on the 1st night and went over and above and ensured he answered all our questions and tips on places to visit. He made us feel at home.He had our teenage children's attention and gratitude which is rare. Sofia ( the owner) spent some time talking with us and ensuring that we had settled in okay and had all the information we required. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. The communal areas were also very clean. Wifi worked well All in all a home away from home.

Riad was really peaceful clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and pool were amazing to cope with the summer heat. Breakfast was amazing and Badr even gave us a a special early breakfast on the day we were leaving even though it was an hour and a half before breakfast time. Ahmed was such a welcoming host greeting us with mint tea and a cold bottle of water, gave us amazing tips and made our stay exceptionally reassuring.

United KingdomThe only improvement I can think of would be if they served alcohol. A beer on the roof would be epic.
10/10 - highly recommend! Lovely interiors - authentically Moroccan whilst also being modern, comfortable and very clean. Nice room and bathroom. Great location, easy to walk into the centre of the Medina. Lovely rooftop space to relax - a real plus to have a rooftop pool :) Delicious breakfast and the staff were super helpful and friendly - particularly Baden, who we saw every morning and evening. They even helped us book a day pass at another hotel before we arrived, which was above and beyond. A great choice for friends, couples or families. Extra points for the cute cat, San

United KingdomI have nothing bad to say
Amazing stay. Beautiful Riad in a lovely location that's easy to get transport to and from and get two minutes away from the Souks. Sofia, Badir, Ahmed and all the other staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food was amazing, the breakfast I'm still thinking about! The Riad is so peaceful considering it's in the heart of a busy city and the little rooftop area is lovely for a morning coffee or afternoon nap. Clean comfortable rooms that were tidied everyday, great Aircon and lovely bathrooms. Honestly if you're thinking about staying here just book it.

The breakfast at Riad Aya was great. A really nice selection that was very tasty and well prepared. The location of the Riad is fantastic. We did not need to book a taxi for the duration and were able to walk to all locations that we visited in the medina on foot despite having young children with us. The massage lady who the Riad arranged for us was really exceptional too.

United KingdomShower pressure was low, but water shortages in area probably mean that is city wide.
We loved the breakfast, great coffee, super fresh orange juice and then a different crepes equivalent everyday. It was a 5 minute walk to the souks. We had dinner in the property on the first night and it was delicious. The staff were fantastic, helpful, polite and friendly.

AustraliaThe airport transfer and in house dining were more highly priced than in my previous riad and the building wasn’t super soundproof.
This is a gorgeous riad, elegant and stylish, even better than the photos. It’s easy to find compared to some other riads in the Medina, with easy access to the road with vehicle access. The staff were pleasant and unobtrusive, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast fresh and tasty.

Saudi ArabiaThe Riad was top level on everything, from the day I checked in to when I checked out. Perfectly located around the souk and Jamee Al Fena, yet, when you go inside, it’s quiet and cozy! all the top attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were awesome, every single one of them. Whenever I get a chance to come back to Marrakech, I will definitely be staying here again.

United KingdomTrying to find Riad from the airport taxi drop off. The Riad is located at the end of an alleyway which can seem intimidating after dark.
Breakfast was amazing and the staff went out of their way to provide gluten free options for my husband. We ate in the Riad several nights as again they cooked gluten free for us.
