Honestly, we liked everything. If we had to mention something small, it would be the slightly wobbly toilet and the fact that there was no toilet paper holder.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had booked the suite, and it was more than worth it! The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and roomy as well. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and each morning we were served a tasty breakfast. Some more variety in the breakfast would be a nice improvement. The staff was very kind and always tried to have a little chat with us, even if their English was not perfect. The night staff did speak good English and was also very friendly. We would like to thank all of them for everything. Also for preparing a takeaway breakfast when we had a day trip to Essaouira! 😊

A riad in the heart of Marrakech, a fantastic location just a short walk from the Jemaa el-Fna square. The riad is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the medina—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the souks and the city’s wonders. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere truly authentic. I definitely recommend this riad. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable, they helped us with arranging transportation from the airport to the riad and vice versa which made everything much easier. The riad is centrally located near the Jemaa el-Fnaa square but still on a quiet street. The terrace of the riad is very nice and it is very pleasant to spend time outside on the terrace. The architecture of the riad and it is decorated tastefully.

Staying at Riad Bab Chems was a beautiful experience. The riad has a stunning garden with lush greenery and small trees, giving it a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The decor is rich with historical items, adding a unique charm to the place. Every morning, we were gently woken by the sound of the azan and the delightful aromas of a homemade breakfast prepared by a lovely lady who made me feel as though I was at home with my mother. The view was fantastic, and the entire experience was a wonderful find. I highly recommend it!

Madam of the Riad, her sister and rest of staffs was so lovely. Very welcoming, kind and helpful. Never in my life I had experience such hospitality. Riad just so beautiful and room just perfect. Breakfast was lovely as well. I felt like home and felt safe throughout my stay. The property also has an amazing rooftop. The location of property near by all souks easy access to shop, or even try street foods, just walk to Jemaa El Fna. You can find atm also around square so that’s helpful. Just so in love with its people who work in Riad and Riad itself. Would come back to stay here again and again. Thank you so much to everyone in Riad Bab Chems. You are for me 5 stars ♥️

If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. You can hear everything from that room, people coming in and out and their conversations. And also if the light is put on at night in the hall, it also lights up the room.

Nothing really. If I really had to find a downside, it is really easy to get lost in the Suk alleys but that's also the beauty of the location!

Beautiful Riad! The decor and all the tiny touches makes it extraordinary! Feels like a time taking you back in time to feel the real Moroccan culture. Additionally, lovely and quiet place to escape from the busy streets and alleys of the Marrakech. The roof terrace is another delightful addition to the Riad. Definitely, it was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Staff are very friendly and helpful, tidy and cosy rooms and very tasty traditional breakfast. Also, good Wi-Fi signal.

Really authentic Riad located in the heart of Marrakech. Perfect location for those that want to stay near Jemaa el-Fnaa. The owners were so accommodating and helpful. Rooms are super spacious and bed was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone thinking of visiting Marrakech
