Absolutely everything Beautiful Riad, wonderful service and kindness from their staff. First time in Marrakesh, so in our ignorance , we were a bit taken aback by the neighbourhood when we arrived, and then realized location was great. We would love to come back. Thank you Driss for your calm and collected attitude towards all of our requests.

The most amazing Riad in the heart of Marrakesh. The riad itself was stunning, always clean and smelt beautiful. However the staff are what makes this place so special, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They are the heart and soul of the riad and make this place what it is! Thank you so so much for making our stay so special. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!

We stayed at Riad Babel for several nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place in Marrakesh. The riad is beautifully minimalistic, calm and very clean – a perfect contrast to the busy streets just outside. From the warm welcome with mint tea and sweets to the peaceful courtyard and small pool, everything was designed to make guests feel at home. The rooms are cozy, well-equipped and thoughtfully maintained. The breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying: traditional Moroccan bread, jams, eggs made to order, fresh orange juice and coffee. A special thank you to Driss and Amina for their kindness, patience and generosity – we truly appreciated your help and presence. You made our stay not only comfortable, but memorable. We would absolutely return and recommend Riad Babel to anyone looking for hospitality, quiet, and charm in the Medina.

People comment on the location feeling dodgy, you may feel this on the initial walk, but after one or two times, you’ll be happy and content this is a safe and kind environment

We loved everything about this Riad! Driss and Amina were so nice and made sure we had the best time. We felt right at home, also because the rooms look amazing and the location is great - they even have a lovely rooftop! We can not think of anything negative and are looking forward to come back soon.

Worst esperience of my life. I go to Marrakech since 25 years and never met such an unpolite and crazy owner. We had a very bad stay because the room was stinking form the bathroom. He completely stalkered us creating fake stories about us to justify his bad hospitality. He forced the very nice employees to write a fake message talking bad about us. On the top he asked us to pay a different tariff from what agreed on booking. I was basically forced to jump my last dinner in Marrakech to deal with him because he asked 40 euro more. The smell in the room ruined our stay and the shower was full of water. At the end is still sending private messages saying we have mental problems. Horrible I will report this also to the police. For last a part from my bad experience the riad is located very inside 10 mins walking from the Main Street so no comfortable and the terrace is completely out of usage. Rooms with nice furnitures but tight and not unique. Not raccomanded at all

Everything! Our host was so welcoming. The room was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. Our breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to have homemade dishes. It was so quiet - a true oasis!

we have just gotten back from the most beautiful stay in marrakech, this peaceful raid was in the perfect place close to the centre. the rooms were calming with different areas of the raid to chill. Idris and the lady completed the stay. they were so welcoming and accommodate to your every need, going above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect stay. such lovely people and they really made our trip so great! I would recommend having lunch or dinner one day of your stay as the lady home cooks traditional marrakesh food and it’s delicious! overall our stay here was perfect, no faults and we will definitely be back!

Don’t let the area scare you at first glance. A bit hard to find but ones you’ve been there, you will fall in love with the place! :)

The Riad was in a great location. Close to many sights and places of interest. Admittedly the walk from where we were dropped off was a little unnerving in the dark but we were met by the lovely Driss who runs the Riad and he assured us that the area was safe. We saw no trouble and the locals were extremely friendly and we soon got used to walking it on our own. The Riad itself is a little oasis. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Anina who also works there made us feel so welcome and provided us each day with a delicious breakfast. Both Driss and Anina are the main reasons I’ve scored this Riad so high. They could not do enough for us over the duration of the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. They are an enormous asset of this delightful Riad 😌

On the whole there was nothing not to like… and I would highly recommend it. Would certainly return 🥰

Beautifully decorated, great sized riad. The staff Idriss and Amina are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. Great location, quiet neighbour but very close to lovely restaurants, shops, cafes and hammams nearby. We originally booked with another riad and that was terrible so booked Riad Babel last minute who were so flexible about everything. Rushing around we didn't really have time for lunch, Amina whipped us up a last minute delicious meal, it was a bit pricey but very very good.

Only a small item but good to be aware of, the riad is in charge of payment so we ended up paying around £23 more than the advertised amount due to different conversion rates which is not a lot and the riad is well worth it but was surprised when we were leaving. Don't let this put you off, it's just good to know.
