No AC, I was asked to pay more for a room with AC. I found a fan with a sound of a helicopter. I hope they add a bidet or any water based cleaning in the toilette.

Very close to jamaa fenna, you don’t lose your way. The place vey calm, the stuff very warm.

Really close to the centre. Ali is lovely. Good ideas and lovely just to relax on terrace. They were happy to arrange trips, and realistic about pricing and ideas Decor really made it feel lovely.

The room was lovely, beautiful tiling and spacious. Breakfast was so good on the roof terrace. Staff catered to all your needs and very generous with their time. Lovely building and great location, just a 10 minute walk to the square.

Not signposted and difficult to find … as no road names … maybe a map could be sent with booking … as it was extremely difficult we had to trust a guide for help.

Safe traditional… welcoming what made it outstanding was the night manager Ali who went above and beyond… helped with our forward trip/ including bus journey and next accommodation…a decent and courteous professional.

Breakfast was simply delightful, prepared with great care and attention to detail. My experience staying at Riad Basma Marrakech was enchanting. Everything was impeccable: the organization, the charming decor, and the prime location right in the heart of the tourist center. We were warmly welcomed by the attentive Tahi Riali, who shared invaluable tips on how to make the most of Marrakech. His kindness and hospitality made all the difference, making our stay even more special. Every detail was stunning, and I left feeling amazed. Not being a defect, but another characteristic of the riads in the Marrakesh medina, they are located in places that are nothing more than alleys, which can only be reached by walking, sometimes, as is the case, through poorly lit alleys, without any identification and even somewhat scary. It is also common, as is the case at Riad Basma, for there to be no external identification of the riad or, if there is, it is little or not visible at all. So, who like us, who arrived in the center of Marrakesh at around 2 am, and who were dropped off by the taxi driver a modest 600m from the Riad, but tired, loaded with suitcases, and in my case accompanied by my wife and three children, two of which are girls, the experience was not the best. The taxi driver, upon realizing our desperation (no data network, no local money), was kind enough to share data to define the walking route on Google Maps... he immediately realized how critical our situation was. Even without any kind of danger, it was clear that the route would be anything but simple. It was done through little or no lit alleys and passages, some completely deserted and others with people who inspired little confidence, through totally claustrophobic places. When we finally arrived at the riad street, there was no sign of a soul, no indication of the street and less of the Riad. Google Map helped us, which placed us at the door of what was supposed to be and turned out to be the Riad. In another context it would have been a funny adventure, but in this one it wasn't - for the first time in my life, I was actually afraid of what could happen to us or how to resolve the situation we were in. In reality, the Marrakesh medina proved to be a very safe place, something that I think is the result of the local population's own interest, in a balance between the chaotic and the surprisingly peaceful.

Riad Basma is very pleasant and the staff are very polite and kind. The interior of the building is quite typical, as expected from a riad, and the cleaning is very careful. The breakfast, although not very diverse, is careful and pleasant. The riad is located just over 10 minutes walk from the center of the medina.

This Riad is located in a quiet side street in the Medina, beautifully decorated. A delightful breakfast was served on the rooftop. Ali, our host on site, was very helpful and entertaining. He helped with advice on sightseeing and restaurant.
