Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI have nothing to say here.
The staff were excellent. Very helpful, understanding and accomodating. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The Riad itself was within walking distance from the main attractions, while still being quiet due to the location being in one of the back alleys. The breakfast was very good....overall excellent value for money. On the day we arrived our air conditioning was not working...a mechanical problem. However, Habib and Anwar were very helpful. They immediately gave us another room, and by the very next day they sorted our air conditioner. We had breakfast and different times to accomodate pre-booked tour times, and each time our requests were happily met. Everyone at the Riad were very helpful. We will very much recommend Chambres D'Amis. It was like a home away from home.

Czech RepublicThe only downside is the lack of a larger swimming pool. There is only a small pool, more for decoration.
We stayed in the riad for two weeks. It is a beautiful place full of peace and good mood. The staff is so kind and helpful, everything is clean and fragrant. I will miss the fresh Moroccan pancakes and omelettes for breakfast on that terrace. Our whole stay was amazing. The place is just a short walk from the main square and all the sights and is absolutely ideal for exploring Marrakech. Many thanks to Habib for all his care and arranging transportation from and to the airport at 3 in the morning. People like him are the future of Moroccan tourism. I hope we will come back soon and explore Marrakech in winter. We will definitely choose this riad again.

CanadaNothing much. The days were really hot, so our unit did so as well even with the fan provided.
Very homey. The food served is very much competitive if not better than what is served outside. Staff is professional, polite, efficient and very warm. We would come back for another stay.

GermanyAbsolutely magical! From the moment we arrived at the riad, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine kindness that instantly made us feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is serene and full of heart—every corner is clean, fragrant with roses, and thoughtfully arranged to feel like a peaceful home away from home. Stepping in from the vibrant, noisy streets of Marrakech felt like entering an oasis of calm and comfort. The contrast is stunning—outside, the heat and buzz of the city; inside, quiet, cool serenity wrapped in the scent of flowers and the soft murmur of a fountain. Nadia, the soul of the house, cared for us with a beautiful motherly presence. Her food was not just delicious—it was made with love, and every meal felt like a warm embrace. And Anouar, always smiling, was the perfect host: attentive, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed, always with grace and generosity. This riad is not just a place to stay—it’s a feeling, a memory, a gentle reminder that hospitality from the heart still exists. We didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely be back.

United StatesIt’s beautiful and peaceful with a great staff and a wonderful kitchen open at all hours. The staff cooked for me whenever I wanted something. Habib thought of every detail including having food waiting for me after a long flight and a ride waiting at the airport. I wanted for nothing and was very cared for!

IrelandBad points Unfortunately the shower wasn't great. The water was to hot or too cold witch was hard to have a shower. In the bedroom there is no kettle or tv, for many guests probably is not a problem but for me the kettle specially it's important as i love my coffee. Breakfast was fine by me as I'm not a Breakfast person but don't expect a big variety in food, also the fact we in a different culture some items might be difficult to find. For last, I was expecting to be a restaurant at the Riad but unfortunately there is not. If you want to have a meal at the Riad you must order with 1 day in advance witch I think its not usefull because I don't really know what I want to eat with one day in advance. For last, if I had to stay again in the Riad wouldn't be a problem but some things can be improve for guess comfort.
If you want to experience the real Morocco style Ryad Chambres D'amis is a great choice. The Riad is extremely beautiful and my bedroom was like staying in a different world. The rooms extremely clean and the staff were all amazing. I want to mention Habib, extremely kind and friendly. If I need any help Habib always happy to help.

NetherlandsThe room was a bit on the small side (bit thats the architecture) open bathroom and toilet. Since i was with my dad it was oke but smt to consider.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed here during New Year's and celebrated it on their rooftop terrace, which had stunning views of the medina. The dinner was absolutely delicious, with a huge variety of dishes—honestly, there was enough food to feed ten more people (and I'm a big eater!). I stayed with my dad, and to our surprise, we were seated at one big table for the new years dinner. This meant we got to meet and dine with about 8 other people, which turned out to be a really enjoyable and unexpected part of the experience. Celebrating New Year's together made it even more special. We accidentally left a USB stick at the hotel, but the staff contacted us, kept it safe, and even offered us tea and sweets when we came back to collect it. Overall, it was such a warm and memorable experience!

United StatesThis was my absolute best stay in Morocco and I traveled all over. You can feel the genuine kindness from the people that work there! The location of this riad was so perfect for seeing all the main sites! It was also really easy to navigate after just a couple of walks. The bed and pillows here were the most comfortable I had my entire time in Morocco! They were so soft and fluffy. The room and the rest of the riad literally made me want to redesign my whole house. And the smell!! Wow! I wish I could bottle it up and smell it always, it’s so spa like while walking through the riad. Just an amazing spot in Marrakech.
