Soaker pool closed early in the evening. We came back from shopping one day very warm & looking forward to getting into pool but it was closed for the day.

Good location. Riad has a lot of charm & Moroccan authenticity. Lovely tiled soaker pool outside our room. Nice rooftop where amazing lots of variety breakfast was served. Had a relaxing spa treatment. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. They went above & beyond, including walking us to our restaurant & a supermarket for spices.

Couldn't fault anything.

Our stay at the Riad Charme d'Orient could not be faulted. Beautiful Riad in a great location for all the main sights within the Medina. The rooms were beautiful and reflected perfectly the culture and tradition of Marrakech. The breakfasts were lovely and sitting on the rooftop on the morning sun was idyllic and set you up for the day of exploring! Laurence and her staff were amazing, they really did make our stay the best!

Everything was excellent !

There are so many beautiful Riads in Marrakesh (and Morocco), we spent nights in five different ones during our trip. Although we have fond memories of each one, the Riad Charme d'Orient Adults Only is truly the best we have been to, not only in Morocco but one of the best places we have been staying to while traveling around the world. So if you are looking for a wonderful, family-friendly place and wondering where to spend your nights in Marrakesh... look no further than this beautiful Riad. From the moment you walk in, you will be surrounded by beautiful interiors and most importantly wonderful people, the entire team and the owner Laurence , make you feel like you are visiting old friends or family. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bedding and towels are crisp fresh white, every detail of the room and all Riad has the highest quality. Breakfast served on the terrace was the tastiest we have had in Morocco, also beautifully served :) , Laurence, thank you again for the wonderful welcome and help us buying tickets to Jardin Majorelle. Also , big thank you to the entire fantastic team, especially to Said. We will definitely be back one day in the future.

Nothing - everything was beyond perfect!

I don’t know where to start… we just had the most incredible trip of our lives and it was mainly due to this Riad and the people there. I have travelled a lot and stayed in so many accommodations and I have never stayed anywhere as good as Riad Charme d’Orient. The moment we arrived Laurence and her team made us feel at home, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The Riad is breathtakingly beautiful and feels so special just as a building but it’s the team who make this place truly magical. We had a Hammam as well as a massage all at the Riad and both were incredible which was an amazing start to the trip and truly amazing to have these experiences within the Riad. The breakfast which was served every morning was delicious and the room was perfect, so clean, so stunning and everything we could wish for. Laurence & her team really looked after us and although we were only in Marrakech for 3 nights, we instantly felt so relaxed and welcomed. We already are planning to come again and will only stay at Riad Charme d’Orient. I can promise you there won’t be anywhere else in the world that is as amazing as this Riad. We can’t thank Laurence & her team enough, they are the best people and we felt emotional leaving. You HAVE to stay here and you will have the BEST trip of your life!

The property was absolutely fantastic, from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere created makes you feel you are in Marrakesh straight away. The Riad is stunning, beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxed. Our room was perfect, every time we came back at the end of the day it had been tidied and freshened up by the staff . We had a fantastic stay, Laurence and the staff were so so welcoming and friendly they make you feel part of their family. They made our stay perfect. If you are looking for a Riad to give you the experience of Marrakesh then I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully if we return we would not consider anywhere else to stay. Nothing only Leaving and Coming home, 🙁

Absolutely nothing!

It is very cool! Completely nondescript from the front door, you step into an exquisitely designed, immaculately clean oasis. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the medina, and good local restaurants, Excellent communication prior to arrival.

Returning to this oasis after each busy day of sightseeing was like being welcomed into an old friend's home. The riad offers huge breakfasts with different items every day, and sweet mint tea (the best we have had in Morocco) is always available. There are places to relax, including deck chairs on the sunny roof terrace and seats beside the running water of the internal pool. There is also a hammam available, which was great. Above all, this was the most incredible hospitality we have ever experienced on our travels. Highly recommend!

Charme d’Orient was better than expected, traditional beautiful Riad , super clean & in a great location, only a short walk to most of the local attractions tombs, palace & medina. Pool & jacuzzi not open when we were there, we did know this prior to our arrival - will have to go back when it is open as looks lovely! Laurence & her staff were very attentive & could not praise them enough, very helpful, polite & all lovely. Coco the parrot was very entertaining🦜.

For what we wanted, and for what we expected, all good

A superb Riad. A really nice alternative to the 'normal' hotel type stay. It is excellently located for exploring Marrakech or for Tour pick ups - a nearby walk.

The staff and owner made us feel welcome and special and cared for us! The whole experience was better than we hoped, and the Riad is beautifully decorated and charming. We really recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the style and decor. Everything was perfectly equipped and the atmosphere of the beautiful accommodation tastefully decorated. It was a place with a lot of character and the very nice host. An excellent experience that I highly recommend.

I can't even think of something to write here. It was beyond our expectations!

I haven't actually stayed in another riad in Marrakech, but I would argue that this one is definitely the best of the bunch. As soon as you step through the doors from the hustle and bustle of the city, the riad serves as an oasis with the sound of trickling water and relaxing music. The location is great- still only a 10 minute walk to the main square or a 10-minute taxi to the new town (which Laurence and the team can organise for you) without it being too busy in the surrounding areas. We booked in for the couples hammam and massage which was absolutely brilliant and so relaxing. We would definitely recommend the experience if you haven't had one before (or even if you have). We also ate at the riad one evening and the food was delicious. But I think the main thing that makes this riad so spectacular is the team. We felt so welcomed and they were always on hand to help us with organising taxis or advising on where we should go. We stayed in other places as part of our trip in Morocco but none of the hospitality (or the teas!) even came close to comparing to the Riad Charme d'Orient. We can't thank Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatima, Fatimazahra and Warda enough. We had an unforgettable stay.

This is a beautiful Riad. It is in a great location but far enough away from central medina so the evenings were quiet and peaceful. The hospitality of the entire team was phenomenal. Special thanks to Laurence (owner), Said and Soufyan (day/night managers). But the whole staff were great. The cleaning services were exceptional, and the additional services (laundry/food etc) were much appreciated.

Be careful with adress, if you out to Google maps you can arrive to the street with the same name and number , but it’s another street 5 min away. But it’s not a big deal :)

Can't think of anything really. Be very very careful in the souks and square with your personal belongings

It was a perfect stay, Laurence and team make sure it is so. We felt we were staying with family. The rooms are lovely, with comfy beds , authentically moroccan with a spacious bathroom. Sufiyan and Said and their female relatives make sure you have a wonderful stay. Excellent breakfast served fresh with seasonal fruits and juice in a lovely dining room with a smile by Sufiyan. The Riad is in the jewish quarter within walking distance to the Bahia Palace, Jemaa El Fna and souks. Guelez is about 30 min walk away. Our almost perfect vacation was marred by a pickpocket in the souks, but Laurence patiently spent 2 hrs with me in the police station translating and helping me get the police report for insurance. Would suggest you use the taxi service arranged by the property especially when you first arrive to avoid getting lost. I would recommend this beautiful Riad to friends and family without hesitation.
