We really can’t fault this beautiful riad. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff are exceptional and took great care of us throughout our stay. From complimentary coffee and water in the spotlessly clean room, to the fresh breakfast (the best we’ve ever had in any hotel). It was a tranquil haven in a buzzing medina. We have no doubt we will be back!

Nothing, it was outstanding.

Unlike most travellers who are making stops for a couple of nights, we stayed over a week. In other words, there was plenty of time for a mishap. There simply never was one. We were so comfortable and the family who run it were simply delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. Located just inside the Medina it is perfectly located for heading in or out of it.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Chbanate in Essaouira! The place is chic, cozy, and full of charm, with beautiful design and a relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful view from the rooftop launch area! What truly made it special was the staff — everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Samira, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Nothing was ever too much for them! They gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and helpful tips for exploring the city. You can really feel they care about your experience. We left feeling like part of the family. Can’t wait to come back!

A beautifully designed, perfectly located property. We can’t recommend this place enough. It’s stunning attention to detail makes your stay all the more amazing. Rose petals in the bath? Staff that going above and beyond? Genuinely this is a find in the centre of the city.

It is a lovely Riad, beautifully restored with lots of character. Each of the rooms are individually decorated with antique furniture. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

This place is incredible! The most wonderful calming place to unwind for a few days. We absolutely loved our visit. The rooms are beautiful. Attention to detail is brilliant with the lovely decor. Loved the beautiful stone bed and bath. The terrace with the hottub is a great place to chill out. Location is perfect for Essaouira. Will can't wait to return, thank you for a great visit. Breakfast was also fantastic

Very comfortable Riad with good sized rooms and very helpful staff. If you’re arriving by car parking is just outside the walls and costs 50 mad per day.
