    Nothing, it was perfect.

Riad Cherifa is a beautifully restored and furnished Riad in the Medina. It is easy to reach from one of the main gates (2-3 minutes walk - don’t be fooled by a “guide”!) and very close to one of the main shopping and dining areas of the Medina. It has a lovely dining area next to the pool, and a series of roof-top terraces, perfect for relaxing as you watch the sunset. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

The rooms don’t have enough space and were a bit tight. The alleys to reach the hotel are very narrow however they offer help with your baggage to reach there

The staff are very friendly, the location is central and in the middle of all the shops. Loved the interiors of the Hotel and the breakfast served was really good.

    Nothing

This riad, located in the heart of Chefchaouen’s medina, is an absolute treasure! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. Every detail, from the decor to the comfort of the rooms, was thoughtfully arranged, making our stay truly memorable. The highlight was the amazing breakfast! Each morning, we enjoyed an elaborate spread of freshly prepared Moroccan dishes, from local pastries and fresh fruit to traditional bread and flavorful jams. It was a delicious way to start the day and truly set this riad apart. The swimming pool was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring, offering a refreshing and serene space to unwind. And the rooftop terrace? Absolutely breathtaking! It offers a panoramic view of Chefchaouen and the surrounding Rif Mountains. I highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay with exceptional cleanliness, a fantastic breakfast, and a perfect medina location!

The breakfast could be improved and the hamam was overpriced for the service the lady provided.

I loved the hotel interior; the design was beautiful, the rooms were cosy, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Great location to the main restaurants and inner city centre.

Such Riad is not so comfortable or convenient for small kids or senior citizens. Too many steps to walk up to the room. Bathroom sink was clogged. Too many mosquitoes in the place. We were there onyl for 1 night so we didnt bother much.

It was a beautiful Riad, very well managed by the good efficient staff. Breakfast was good too. Swimming pool was added bonus however we did not use it coz cold water. Terrace garden with fragrant flowers all around and with soft music playing was pretty romantic. Total ambience of the place was pretty good!

Excellent location. Right on Bab Suk street, where majority of Instagram pic spots are located off of. The staff were super friendly and we felt at home here. Their breakfast was awesome. Especially the Moroccan Taktouka, eggs on bell pepper and onions sautéd with some mild spices, for breakfast. They even shared the recipe with me. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was kinda strange! A fried egg which came with a selection of olives, and cream cheese in little pots, bread and olive oil. There were jams, butter, honey in little pots too to go with the bread or Moroccan crepes plus a pastry and some melon oh and a nice little glass of honey and yoghurt, which could have been bigger! However the jams and honey attract the bees, lots of them!!! everyone on every table spends a good part of their breakfast time shooing the bees away or putting the jam pots to one side to keep the bees away from them!! Nice they had a set food layout but what a waste of food! Hardly anyone ate all their bread or pastry and bees ate most of the jams!! Most of the little pots went back still full. Maybe a buffet table would be better placed inside where people could select their bread, pastry, crepe, fruit and take it to their table, there would be a lot less waste of food and maybe deter the bees!! Lastly the place is very tranquil when empty, when lots of guests the noise from the above rooms and pool not so good!

Good location, gorgeous decor so charming with lots of little seating areas, nice pool, sun terrace, peaceful and tranquil. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Other than an airport hotel, this was the only place I stayed for 2 weeks in Morocco that had A/C. It was also my first time staying in a Riad, and it did not disappoint! The place was absolutely beautiful! The hammam and spa experience were also incredible (though prices are definitely tourist prices). Hadijah (hammam and massage/spa) was amazing, and despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate just enough! She serenaded me with her beautiful voice, and she used a pan to beat as a drum. It was definitely among the top highlights of my two weeks in Morocco! The breakfast was also great!
