Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWe were welcomed so warmly. They were very accommodating and helpful. Loved the cool dip in the pool after a very hot summer's day. A big breakfast each morning kept us fuelled each day for exploring.

United KingdomMoney in Morocco is a constant challenge and at every turn there's someone trying to get more money out of you. Whilst we didn't experience that from the staff, the hotel policy converts EUR to Moroccan dirhams at 10.9 to 1 EUR regardless of the actual exchange rate (which was 10.5 at the time). As we couldn't pay in EUR we lost out on their bad exchange rate. So advice is to bring enough EUR to pay the hotel bill or you'll spend more on a bad conversion.
The staff were wonderfully friendly and helped us plan trips to enjoy our time in Marrakech. The pool was excellent to cool down in after a hot morning and the rooftop terrace helped us dry off quickly. The team were fantastic with our kids as well

An absolute gem, the Riad is lovely and the staff exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, The welcome was warm, Rashid spent time with us to explain the city highlights and ensuring that we wouldn't get lost again in the labyrinth of Marrakech. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious, Breakfast was filling, with cakes, pastries, pancakes, fresh orange juice, jams and Pekmez. The Riads location was perfect for exploring, though the traffic on the main road can be a little alarming, we soon got used to dodging mopeds and cycles on the little market streets. The beauty of Marrakech is that you spot something new on every turn. Thank you for hosting us on our holiday, we miss it already.

This is a lovely Riad to stay in Marrakesh! It’s a great size and feels like a calm and cool retreat while in the bustling city. The rooms are clean and comfortable and staff were so welcoming and friendly. Said and Rashid were wonderful, as well as the hammam and massage team! Breakfast every morning on the terrace is a peaceful, sunny start to the day. My friends and I went for the hammam and massage treatments on offer and it was an amazing part of our trip and we appreciated the convenience of experiencing them at our accommodation. The location is really convenient as well, super easy to explore the Medina and other spots. Thanks to the team at the Riad!

United KingdomShower didn't really work. I couldn't give them the opportunity to rectify this however as we were running for the airport and it might have been a temporary issue.
Lovely hospitality. Stunning architecture. Comfortable rooms and really enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace. We were only there for a night but they made us feel very welcome

This is a beautiful riad located in the old city medina just a quick walk from the square by the main souk. The room was comfortable and there's a terrace on the top floor with a view of the city. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of our time there.

United StatesIt was difficult to find. It might be easier to find if you drive to the Medina first and then click the directions link from the bookings.com app. Be sure not to arrive during the call to prayer. The cook who answered the door does not speak English and kept saying no to all of our questions. Just wait until the prayer is over. All of the men speak English and are very friendly. It was our favorite hotel stay in Morocco.
It is exactly like the photos, maybe better! The rooms are comfortable, the staff is great! Breakfast has multiple styles of breads and pancakes, fruit, fresh squeezed OJ, coffee and tea. It is very close to the Medina but in a quiet neighborhood.

AustraliaA really lovely Riad just outside the Medina which is nice after exploring the fun but noisy square and souks. The Manager/owner of the Riad was so welcoming to our family of 4, happy to help us with any extra requests in preparation for our flight the following day - he even had a baggage weight so we could check our luggage weights which was great. We had a nice big room - beds were really comfortable (not hard like they often can be in Morocco), and our bathroom was very spacious, complete with a big bath. Breakfast on the terrace was good with fresh fruit salad, juice, coffee/tra etc - kids loved the fresh pancakes. This was our second stay in Marrakech, previously staying inside the Medina but should we return we would choose this Riad again for comfort and service.
