Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis review is for Riad Spice; we were moved there because Riad Cinnamon had some construction nearby. It was a beautiful and stylish riad with a great central location. We appreciated all the help navigating Marrakech, including the app and restaurant recommendations. Zouhair was super helpful and accessible. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

United KingdomNice rooms and decor, quiet and pleasant riad courtyard and a peaceful terrace. But the staff really made the stay special, in particular Lahcen, who went out of his way to help us. All the staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling and bringing us tea. Would stay here and would recommend!

NetherlandsWe honestly cannot think of a single thing we didn’t like, everything was simply perfect from start to finish. Our stay at Riad Cinnamon was the definition of comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality.
We had the most amazing experience staying at Riad Cinnamon, it truly exceeded all our expectations. The riad itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan style, every corner radiates charm and elegance. Our room was spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the vibrant Medina, surrounded by the souks, local life, and buzzing atmosphere. And yet, as soon as you step inside the riad, it’s like entering a peaceful sanctuary. It’s quiet, serene, and incredibly relaxing, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Everything was within walking distance, but on days we preferred not to walk, the riad arranged affordable and reliable transportation for us, including fun and easy rides with a tuk-tuk straight to wherever we wanted to go. Every morning we were greeted with a delicious and generous breakfast, freshly prepared and served with a warm smile. The staff were always kind, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. A special mention has to go to Lahcen, the best host we have ever had. He truly went above and beyond in every way possible. From organizing excursions to simply checking in on us, he made sure our entire stay was stress-free, smooth, and joyful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his warm, caring nature made all the difference. Thanks to Lahcen, this trip felt like a true holiday in every sense of the word. We didn’t just fall in love with Riad Cinnamon and the magical city of Marrakech, we also feel incredibly grateful to have met Lahcen. He is without a doubt one of the biggest reasons we are already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for everything!

United KingdomIt needs maintenance- from the walls, the little pool, and the bathroom in the room. The property is old which makes it characteristic but you can see that it’s not been taking care properly over the time. Also the property style doesn’t match the pictures on booking. The bathroom in our room was old and the water had no pressure. Lots of stairs even in the room and the bed was not that comfortable. Old furnitures and windows cracked and need cleaning. Not in the best location, taxi can drop you off at a certain spot in the medina than you need to walk 7 mins to reach the riad - which is quite hidden. Not a nice walk to do late at night
A cute small Riad. Very warm welcome by Mohsin, lovely guy at the property! Smooth check in and very helpful - welcome with Marroccan tea and sweets. For right away map and tips about the city. Lovely staff at the property! 10/10 for service!

United KingdomGreat location in the Medina close to Souks and 15 minute walk to main square. Friendly and helpful staff gave us directions and useful information. Fantastic breakfast served to our table each morning with wide selection of home baked goods, fresh fruit, jams and yoghurt. The Riad’s app was a tremendous help particularly with navigating our way through the Medina when Google maps did not work. Luggage was stored for us on departure day and we were welcomed back to change in guest lounge or chill on roof terrace.

United KingdomJust a personal choice but it would have been nice to be able to order drinks or snacks as it can be tiring going out for food and drinks all the time but I understand this is not possible in a small riad
Moshin was really lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen and we slept really well. Breakfast was really good. Fresh coffee, local bread, eggs and fruit. Nice and healthy

United KingdomThe rooms are authentic but a little dark. Our suite had a mezzanine level with a tv and sofa but the ceiling was so low we couldn’t actually sit up there. It didn’t affect our experience at all though.
Location wise we couldn’t have been more central! The Rhiad is an oasis int hr middle of the Souks. Mosh-im and all the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, giving restaurant recommendations, organising taxis, coming out to meet us when we were lost and the breakfasts were amazing!

United KingdomWe can’t express enough how wonderful of a stay this was for our family! The facilities are lovely and authentic, the food is phenomenal, and the hospitality was superb! Mohsin went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and taken care of. He even helped immensely when we had a problem on the way to the airport. SwedenAlthough the bed and bathroom was amazing, the rest of the furniture and decorations felt a little cheap and out of place. It was not a major issue, but modern-ish couches and Buddha statues felt a little strange. Also, the small street was a little hard to find and was very much under construction, so getting there was a little muddy.
Lovely staff, probably the best treatment we had in Morocco. Very peaceful atmosphere. The bathroom and shower felt very nice.

United KingdomThe room was a lot smaller than it looked on the pictures online. One of the beds was very uncomfortable, we turned the mattress and that solved the problem. It is difficult to find so it would be better if there was a sign at the end of the lane pointing to where the riad is located.
The staff here are incredible they go out of their way to help you. The food and service was outstanding
