Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Great location, situated a couple of minutes walk from the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and plenty of restaurants also close by. Rooms with ensuite were clean and had air conditioning (needed!). Pool was very cold, but refreshing out of the Moroccan heat! The traditional breakfast was lovely. And the staff were great! Special mention to Ali who made the stay special, he was very accommodating and was more than happy to give us recommendations to restaurants and attractions.

SwitzerlandThe only downside was that our room was next to the pool and common area, so it was occasionally a bit noisy sometimes

United KingdomOn arrival we were met by Ali who was welcoming and friendly, he provided us with traditional mint tea and treats. Throughout our stay we were looked after by Ali and Yassine, they advised us where to visit and places to eat and drink. They were both lovely and it was a delight to see them both at the start of the day and when we returned from our days out interested in where we had visited that day. The riad itself is as advertised. Eating breakfast on the rooftop was a great start to the day and we thoroughly enjoyed all the food at the riad and out and about. Hustly, bustly streets and souks as you'd expect but peaceful tranquil places to explore as a contrast. We'd been recommended and enjoyed Le Jardin Secret, local Bahiaa palace and Madrasa Ben Youssef - all stunning beautiful places. Good Medina Tanjia is a lovely restaurant to go to as is Cafe des Epices to name a couple of places to eat. The smell of spices as you wander round..... We enjoyed watching the world go by sat on different rooftop terraces. A little further afield, we went on a balloon flight which was amazing, quad biking and camel riding in the desert followed by an evening of food and entertainment which we'd totally recommend. Thank you!

United KingdomThe staff were attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. As first timers in Marrakech, we found the city a little overwhelming at first, but the team made us feel comfortable and supported throughout our stay. The location was also good, within walking distance to many of the main attractions. They even kindly helped us print our boarding passes before we left. The breakfast each morning was a lovely touch. Room was nice and clean. Would recommend.

PortugalWhile sounds from the outside of riad are all but inaudible, it's easier to hear other guests. If you are a light sleeper, you might notice someone else running a tap or taking the shower at night when the riad is quiet.
We had a great stay. The team is very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The riad is very new and perfectly clean. It's centrally located in Medina, just a short walk away from the central square, but in a quiet street, so you don't hear anything once you come in. The breakfast was very tasty with a great selection of traditional options.

very hard beds, smell of sewage pipes (not the hotel's fault, it's just the way cities in that part of the world are. Also, it was resolved very quickly), noise outside (again, not hotel's fault but better take earplugs if you are light sleeper)
location, breakfast, very friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely hotel

HungaryThe riad is very nice and clean. The staff are wonderful, smiling and helpful. The guest's comfort is really the most important thing here. I would like to highlight the receptionists, they were wonderful. It is close to everything. They also order a taxi to the airport at a reasonable price. The room is nice, spacious and quiet.

United KingdomWould have been good to have use of a swimming pool. The one there was very small and was there more for decoration. Their Spa was in their other Riad which was quite far away on foot and we got lost trying to locate it but luckily the owner came to look for us. So better directions would be good. Everything else was perfect and would definitely recommend it to others.
Breakfast was delicious, very Moroccan. Loved the fresh fruit juice and the fact it was all served to you with beautiful presentation. Lovely environment too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Staff we’re very friendly, good at English. They printed off our boarding passes too which we hadn’t known we had to do in a Moroccan air port so this meant we weren’t fined by the air line. They were very attentive and loved telling us about sights and trips worth doing. The hotel was beautiful rooms clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent!
