the rooms are small if you don't have much luggage it would be fine .. one of the beds in the living room is too small i think its 100 width or less

The minimalist decor and sand colored tadelakht walls made it feel cozy and comfortable. It could not be better situated. The host, Lucille was so welcoming. And the welcome book! I’ve never seen anything so thoughtful and thorough. We will be back!

The two tall people in our party had a little trouble with the stairs at first, but they loved the accommodation. And soon the stairs were no longer a problem as they got used to walking up them.

Beautiful traditional appartment near everything. Roof top view was so pretty, and the neighborhood was gorgerous😊 House is decorated so well. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. I Will book this appartment again when i come back in Tanger❤️

Lots of stairs in the flat. For us it wasn't a problem (it had even more charm thanks to it) but for older or disabled person it can be impossible to stay there.

Easy to check-in, you can do it at any time, since the keys are hidden in a lock box. The owner is responding pretty fast and helped us contact taxi driver. The flat was well thought out, finishind in traditional but modern style, we really liked it, it was beautiful! Great view from the terrace. House was in the old city near to the paid castle parking, so you don't need to be worried leaving your car there. If we will be back in Tanger we will choose this place again.

The stairs are indeed a bit tiring and the surrounding could be noisy at night

It is in the medina and literally one minute walk away from the observation deck of the coast and sunset. The bed is comfy, the deco is nice and the kitchen is very well equipped. The local fish/meat/vege market is just about 10-15minutes walk away as well.

The property have a nice location, easy to find, very close to de Medina but fairly quiet that was amazing, The house has a very cozy modern Moroccan style that makes you really feel the experience of being in Morocco, the view from the roof is spectacular, we enjoyed it a lot, my family and I are very happy and grateful, Thanks so much! definitely I recommend this place to stay

Dear Lucile and Abdelkarim, We have loved our stay in Dar Tahendit. From the moment you enter the house, you can notice that this house was built with love and patience. Each corner of the house is filled with beautiful interior details. Everything you might need is present at the house and we felt welcome due to the welcome booklet and small gifts that were put on the table. The appartment is overlooking the picturesque medina of Tanger and port. Dar Tahendit is located in the center of the Medina and is the perfect place to stay when you want to visit the city and its surroundings. Waking up and overlooking the medina with a cup of homemade coffee is the best way to start your day in Tanger. We will defenitely return to Dar Tahendit whenever we visit Tanger. Thank you for your hospitality.

The rooftop terrace could use some plants and an umbrella over some comfortable chairs -- or at least over the table.

The apartment is so charming! It is tastefully decorated; the kitchen is well stocked;with pots and spatulas and the like. The bed is ample and very comfortable. The location is also charming: right in the old city. There are very few vehicles driving past, so it is quiet and lovely. It is very important to understand that it is one room per floor, so it is 4 floors. Do not stay here if you have trouble climbing stairs.

The windows don't seem to keep any noise out. We understand we're living within the ancient medina, but on one of the nights there was a big commotion at 4am with a literal live band and people dancing in the street below. The noise was truly loud and caused us to be unable to sleep. The place could also do with one or two more bins. Note also that the stairs are indeed narrow, so it may be a bit of effort if you have big luggage like we did. But we knew that when we booked it, so it was all good.

Beautiful and incredibly unique accommodation in a great location within the ancient medina. The rooftop terrace was a very nice feature, as was the hammam downstairs. There were also WCs on 3 of the 4 floors, which was also great. What was really useful was the 4th floor kitchen and washing machine, both of which we used to prep breakfasts and do two laundry loads respectively. But it really comes back down to the beauty of the place - I've never taken so many pictures and videos of an accommodation before, and I think Lucille and Abdelkarim have done an amazing job with their renovation of the home.

everything about the property & hosts was perfect, only downside was tragically there is a dog being neglected on the next door roof and this did affect our stay as we were so heartbroken. our hosts did everything they could do contact the dog’s owners so we appreciated that.

stunningly beautiful renovated Riad townhouse. this was the nicest accommodation we saw in all of the kasbah loved the location, clean and peaceful street with shops and restaurants nearby súper comfortable bed, best nights sleep we had in Morocco hosts are wonderful and very attentive via message loved the welcome touches and attention to detail the decor is gorgeous lovely roof terrace, was a bit windy for us but it has great views over the sea and city

The terrace was not covered and the access to the terrace was poor. The property is definitely not suited for those with mobility issues. It was quite noisy out the front at night,
