I have no complaints, everything was excellent

First of all Saida is an amazing host, she is the loveliest. Always there to make you feel at home, and making everyday a great fresh breakfast. The riad itself is beautiful, the room I was in was prefect and clean, slept really well there. Waking up and going to the terrace for a freshly made breakfast, enjoying the beautiful view. Staying at Riad Dar Afram was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Essaouira. The riad itself is full of character—beautifully decorated with artistic touches, cozy corners, and a rooftop that’s perfect for relaxing after a day in the medina. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Saida, the heart and soul of the riad. From the moment I arrived, she welcomed me with such warmth and genuine kindness that I immediately felt at home. She’s not only incredibly friendly, but also always ready to help—whether it’s with recommendations, directions, or just a lovely chat over mint tea. Her energy lights up the entire place. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay—somewhere that feels personal, inspiring, and full of soul—Dar Afram is it. Thank you, Saida, for everything. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay in Dar Afram, we were looked after so well by Sadia, she always ensured that everything was okay! Very comfortable room in the Riad, fantastic breakfast every morning! This Riad is the best place I’ve ever been in my life! Super clean and very well located . Sadia ( I hope the name is correct ) is the best host ever , she is there to help you anytime, she is so sweet ! The amazing breakfast served in The terrace was making my day !

Bathroom wasn't ensuite or particularly spacious, but otherwise absolutely fine.

The breakfast was good if you like the sweeter continental style. Easy to spend hours on the roof terrace. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent location in medina and close to the main square.

Sadia was so welcoming. She took very good care of us . She has a big heart and a lotta love. The Riad is clean, quiet and comfortable. I could have stayed a little longer. Maybe next time.

Saying goodbye to Sadiya.

Sadiya was such a great help..making early breakfast so we could meet our transport, arranging porter, directions to shops and restaurants..always ready to assist. Unlike our other breakfasts, there was a little variety at Afram...that was nice. Her helper (didn't get name) was also cheerful and diligent.
