How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewI had such a wonderful stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming – I truly felt at home. As a solo traveler, feeling safe and comfortable means everything, and this place exceeded my expectations. The location was also perfect – very central and walkable to everything I wanted to see. I felt completely safe exploring the area on foot. If I ever come back to Riyadh, I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
My room did not have a window for fresh air, I’m not sure if this is the case with other rooms.

We stayed at the riad for 5 nights, after our arrival in Morroco. We got a spacious room at the upper floor. Then we rented a car and visited the other imperial cities, came back after a week ( the staff was nice and kept a part of our luggage). For our last 2 nights we were given a room on the ground floor, the entrance being right from the inner courtyard into the room. The room was very small and smelling of some chemicals that were sprayed around ( we found a huge bug in the washroom the last day). So we had to keep the door and window open, otherwise it was not breathable inside. No privacy - one step away from the door, was the courtyard - where other people were having breakfast in the morning, or returning to the riad late at night. There was only one more room similar with this one. These 2 rooms had low comfort and privacy, and this should be specified when you do the booking. And also the price should be much lower, to reflect the poor conditions, but actually the price was equal to the price we paid for the first room - spacious, comfortable, private.

We’re a bit surprised this exceptional room wasn’t mentioned more in your review, as it offers the highest level of comfort and privacy, and we’re glad you had the chance to enjoy it during your first stay. When you returned, you chose one of our smallest rooms on the ground floor, which, as clearly described on Booking.com, is more basic and located by the courtyard. This room is indeed offered at a lower price, matching a more limited budget, and all its details — including size, location, and amenities — are transparently listed at the time of booking. We’re sorry to hear that this room didn’t meet your expectations, but it was selected based on availability and your budget. We always strive to provide clear and accurate information, and we do our best to accommodate different preferences and price points. Thank you again for your feedback. I wish the internet in general was better. It was entirely non functional on the top level where we were staying. The terrance WiFi works on the terrace but not in the room. None of our devices had internet.

Verified reviewWe received a very warm welcome in the riad and lots of useful tips not only about Marrakech but also Marocco and practical tips. The location of riad is very central, close to the main square, yet isolated from the noise of the city. Breakfast was rich, with fruits and yoghurt. The room was cozy, yet very clean and well equipped, including the electric cettle. There is a nice terrace on the rooftop with a view on the mountains.
The room could have been slightly bigger (and the bed slightly wider than 140cm), but there was no surprise compared to the description on the Booking.com. There's nothing to criticise, otherwise :-)

They were the perfect hosts, beautiful Moroccan breakfast every morning, and organising beer and wine on their rooftop for us at evening time. Verified reviewRiad Dar Chadia was a pleasure to base our holiday in Marrakech. We stayed 8 nights to allow for a desert trip and just exploring the crazy world of the medina. Location was very central. I’m a wheelchair user and it was possible, even though there was the odd step, as I had someone with me. The peaceful inside area was given entertainment by two cats. On the top floor the patio offered sun and a lovely view. Said and Coralie were always really helpful and made you feel at home. Breakfasts were great.

Verified reviewThe Riad was in a fantastic location and very near the Jemaa el Fna and other sights! Said met us when the taxi dropped us off and was very helpful during our 4 days stay even when there was a problem with the hot water… he was very accommodating and attentive!

Verified reviewThe owners / employees of the Riad were absolutely fabulous, arranging transport from the airport , showing us around and connecting/making sure we made our tour ! The Riad is cozy , very centrally located and the staff made our stay outstanding !
The Riad provides breakfast and excellent coffee ; however we did not receive any protein ( egg dishes ) or fresh fruit …. This should not dissuade anyone from staying here !

Verified reviewWe booked 2 rooms and we had a very pleasant experience from the first minute we walked in. The owner is a very nice French lady and the two brothers in charge were always at our service. They helped us with the reservations for dinner.Sorry I don’t know the names. The room upstairs was very big and comfortable and the one downstairs was smaller but clean and comfortable. The bed is good,we had a good night sleep. Breakfast delicious morrocon pastries,tea,coffee,honey,cheese.The cats are adorable and all together the Riad is full of great energy. In the last day we had a very late flight and they were so kind to let us keep one room at no extra charge.They also arranged our airport pick up and drop off We will definitely choose this Riad next time we will visit Marrakech.Many thanks🙏
