How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewOsama was amazing. He was very attentive and genuinely kind. My partner and I had an amazing time overall and really enjoyed our stay here.
The location was a bit far but it was fine because we were able to get tuk tuks and taxis. Breakfast didn’t really have any variety and was the same everyday. I don’t think I’d stay here again if it wasn’t for Osama. He really made our experience at this riad so much better.

The breakfast was decent but got boring as it was the same daily and we stayed for 4 nights.. The rooms were very cute just like the photos. The staff went out of their way to make us feel safe when we were being harassed by the locals outside the Riad. Very pleased with the overall service!
Horrible location and no bathroom doors! 1: Location is in a very rural area and the people outside are very rowdy and they made us feel very unsafe by following us and passing racist and sexist comments at night including kids. Technically the Riad is in the medina but it's pretty far from the main areas. I know as I spent a night near Bacha museum and everything was walkable from there and the people there were much nicer to tourists. Felt absolutely safe there unlike this neighborhood. 2: We booked a triple room which came without a bathroom door. Made us very uncomfortable every morning when nature called. Some basic privacy would have been nicer. Other issues: We had to ask for locks for the room door, poor drainage leading to water clogging in the sink and shower area, we had to ask for water daily which should have been replaced along with room service, one room never got cleaned as they didn't have a spare key and didnt inform us about this, unclear communication regarding airport transfers.

Housekeeping service: During your stay, you kindly requested that we do not clean the room daily, and we fully respected your wish. Our team is always available to refresh the room, change towels or clean, whenever requested. Breakfast: We prepare our breakfast every morning using fresh, local ingredients, served in a traditional Moroccan style. While it may be different from international hotels, many guests appreciate its simplicity and authenticity. Neighborhood: We understand that the area may feel unfamiliar to some travelers. However, we can assure you that safety is taken very seriously. There is a dedicated tourist police unit patrolling the medina, including our area. The individuals who approached you outside are unfortunately what we call “false guides.” They often try to take tourists to shops to earn commissions. These individuals are not allowed to operate and are regularly fined or arrested if caught by the authorities. While it can feel overwhelming, please know that you were not in danger, and the police are present to protect visitors. Finally, thank you once again for highlighting the kindness and support of our staff. As you said yourself, they made you feel safe — and for us, that’s the most important part of the guest experience. Scamming everyone! How do you send a bill in Euros and expect the people to pay the money in Euros? Morocco uses Dirhams,,, which ATM gives out Euros? The manager even tried to convince us that we really owe them at that money in Euros. Massage for €65 was just terrible.. just don’t come here.

Verified reviewWe had a great stay, the location was great - very easy walking to all the main attractions. We were travelling with our 2 and half year old, and everyone at the Riad was so lovely, they made it so easy with our daughter and really went out of their way with her, the kitten was a particular highlight. The food we had at the Riad was the best we had in Morocco. Would highly recommend.

Verified reviewThe host Hicham made us feel so welcome and was so helpful with many of our questions. Also the breakfast prepared by Brahim was the highlight of the day, everyday we were looking forward again to get out of bed and enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the beautiful garden.
The reservation was for a 3p bedroom and when we arrived there had been a mistake in the booking system and were put in a 2p bedroom. The next day, this was solved with sincere apologies from the host - we didn't mind it too much.

Verified reviewThe hospitality of the owners was truly wonderful – they are kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. The Riad is small and located in a lively area, but it’s quiet at night. They took care of everything: picked us up at the parking area outside the Medina, helped carry our bags, and prepared a delicious dinner. Dinner needs to be booked in advance, but it’s absolutely worth it. We had a chicken tagine – the best we had during our entire 12-day trip through Morocco. The rooftop terrace is also a lovely, relaxing place to spend some time.

Verified reviewBeautiful oasis in the middle of the chaotic medina market. Very nice staff. Beautiful terrace with a nice area for relaxation. Rooms are a bit small but they made the best out of the old riad. Nicely decorated too.
The location was not my favourite, it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot/taxi drop-off. Public parking is not free, although quite cheap (approx. $3 a day).

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a generous variety of fresh and delicious options that gave us the perfect start to each day. The location is fantastic — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing once you step inside the riad. One of the highlights of our stay was Messoud, the riad’s adorable and very special cat.
