We loved EVERYTHING about this property!

We LOVED everything about this property!!! Room was perfect and large, bathroom perfect and large , the sweet pool… but ANASS, our host is a shining star in this World!!!! This sweetest of souls made our ride from the airport and back, exchanged money for us and the list goes on and on. When I was about to make transportation to Essaouira he offered up a cheaper option and walked us to the driver. Always with a brilliant smile! Anass is one in a million and made Marrakech magical for us!

From the moment we stepped into Riad Dar Dar, we felt transported to a world of beauty, calm, and true Moroccan hospitality. Situated in the heart of the city’s chaos, this riad is an oasis of peace and serenity - each morning, we woke to the gentle sounds of birdsong and trickling water from the pool, a stark yet beautiful contrast to the bustling Medina just outside. As two women travelling together, we felt completely safe, relaxed and well cared for throughout our stay. The attentive butler service was outstanding - each day, he checked in on our plans, ensured we got to and from our excursions safely, and made sure we had everything we needed. The flexibility of the breakfast service was a wonderful touch - we could choose what time and where we wanted to eat, and they happily catered to our requests. On the day of our early morning excursion, they even prepared a takeaway breakfast bag so we wouldn’t miss out. One of the standout moments was when we had a big problem with a shuttle bus service from an art gallery outside the city- our butler went above and beyond to organise a taxi to collect us so we could return safely. He also helped me arrange a surprise in our room - a framed printout of my friend’s dog, something I had organised in advance to make my friend smile. From the stunning traditional architecture to the amazing service, I could have happily moved in permanently! If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in Marrakech with five-star service, warmth, and care, Riad Dar Dar is the place to stay.

Our room was a bit humid (we stayed in December). But I assume that it will not be the case in another season.

Cute riad, cosy and quiet for Marrakech. Great advise from Anass who really made our stay memorable.

The facilities are as pictured, but good value for money & enough of what you need.

Anass was incredibly helpful with anything that we needed (getting taxis, booking restaurants, recommendations or more water etc)

Our stay at this beautiful Riad was nothing short of wonderful. Its location is ideal, within easy reach of all the major sights in the city. The rooms are charming, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Anass, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From arranging a tour and airport transfers to helping us discover hidden local gems, he did it all with a warm smile and unmatched kindness. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. They also offer dinner on request, and we wish we’d had the chance to try it! Highly recommended for anyone visiting.

Perfect Host Anas With well-decorated rooms, the Riad felt like a traditional Moroccan home. Wood detailing made the walls pop with incredible details. The room was ever-so cozy, making for an easy stay in Marrakech.

Breakfast was very traditional Moroccan, although was always offered eggs as an option.

An oasis of calm beyond the front door. Accommodation was very comfortable and the manager (Annas) went out of his way to help. Explained routes and sights of Marrakesh and even provided a mobile phone to contact him if there were any problems!

The riad is amazing! Very clean, big rooms, great breakfast, walking distance to everywhere and the best was Anass the administrator, he made us feel at home, from the first moment we arrived he helped us with everything and was so kind. Totally recommend this place.

I don’t know from where I start, the hotel is amazing, great breakfast and in a good location. The hospitality of Anass was top notch, he made the trip very enjoyable, helpful and even when I got lost he came all the way to get me. Nawal is a very warm lovely sweet lady and helpful. I felt like I was in my second house. Hands down for this team and thanks for the amazing time.

The pool wasn't very user friendly. Like we didn't use it and it didn't seem like we could. It's more like a dip pool. Breakfast could have been a bit more of a variety. But if your request it anass is more then happy to add to the menu.

Lovely property for a family holiday or even a group booking. Had the riad to ourselves. Lots of space and rooms were a good size.

The room which we were staying needs a lot of improvement, the shower is leaking, under the sink is disgusting, the place isn’t clean, the towels were very dirty, the bedsheets were dirty and had a bad smell. If it wasn’t for the welcoming staff I would have probably given much less than this

I think the best thing about this riad, is Anass. He is the kindest, most welcoming person we have ever met. He exceeded our expectations in therms of promptness and help. He was always there for us, organised trips and taxis, gave us advice on best places in town - which were accurate, also remembered it is my birthday and surprised me in an amazing way. He is the best thing about this Riad, together with the beautiful internal courtyard. I would give a 100 points for these 2.
