If you’re looking for an outstanding place to stay in Marrakech, this is it! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by Mohammed with cups of traditional mint tea. The staff created a WhatsApp group to stay in touch, answering all our questions promptly and offering assistance whenever needed. They arranged transportation for us to and from the airport, which made everything so much easier. They even walked with us to our meeting destination to ensure we didn’t get lost—such a thoughtful touch! I truly recommend this Riad, located right in the heart of the Medina. The price, the location, the service—and most importantly, the staff who genuinely care about their guests—make all the difference. If you’re looking for a memorable and stress-free experience in Marrakech, this is the place to stay.

Loved everything about the Riad, a little sanctuary tucked away from the chaos of Marrakech! The staff were amazing, ensuring we felt safe at all times. Even walking us to and from taxis when we arrived/departed and in the middle of the night for hot air ballooning! Highly recommend staying here :)

Such a beautiful place to stay - we've already recommended Riad Dar Dounia to several friends! The interior design was a stand out for us, all the decor was so thoughtfully done and felt really well curated. It's clear the Riad has been newly renovated, so it's super clean. Breakfast was also lovely - and last but not least, the staff were always really helpful and the service was 10/10

Literally the perfect stay. I really don’t be bothered to write reviews, but I am today. 3 things make this stay so special. 1. The way the place looks. Absolutely beautiful. 2. The location. 3. ⭐️ the Service from the Staff⭐️ Before I get into everything else, I just want to say that Riad Dar Dounia could rival any 5* hotel, all Thanks to Mohammed and Ayoub!!!!!! And the rest of the staff too. From the very start of landing in Marrakech late at night, we booked a direct taxi through Raid Dar Dounia, this is a an absolute must! As Marrakech is difficult to navigate, especially at the start. It was a very fair price aswell. We were greeted from the taxi by Mohammad, and he brought our bags to the Riad. It was very late so we went to bed. The next day, Ayoub gave us an introduction with a map, and a fantastic run down about Marrakesh, and where to avoid and where is good for food, drinks, coffee, shops etc. he also gave us advice about how to stay safe and how to enjoy our time and even how to get good prices! 😅 He also then created a WhatsApp group for easy communication with us, so that we can contact them anytime for advice, recommendations, or if we needed help. They even offer to come and help us get back to the riad if we get lost, thankfully that didn’t happen. Nothing was a problem, fresh water, drinks, coffee etc, at any time. They even arranged for all our clothes to be laundered at a grand price of 58dh, around £5. Breakfast in the mornings was absolutely beautiful. So special and freshly prepared for us on the rooftop. Coffee was fabulous here aswell. Marrakesh was overwhelming for us at the start as tourists, but knowing we had Mohammed and Ayoub for anything and everything, really helped us settled and plan for our time. On another note the actually beauty of the Riad, is something very special. So much thought has gone into w everything. It gives a very authentic experience of Morocco.

Such a charming Riad. The rooms were delightful, the rooftop a gorgeous haven for breakfast and an evening rose, but the real highlight was the staff. Mohammed and Ayoub took such great care of us. Really lovely young men who are such an asset to the Riad. And we certainly through some tricky situations at them and they managed them with warmth and compassion and efficiency.

Riad was beautiful and so peaceful. We felt so welcomed at this riad. Very aesthetic. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was so big! Shampoo and soap smelt amazing. We truly enjoyed our room. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. It was so delicious, and had a variety of things to choose. I wanted to say thanks to everyone at the Riad Dar Dounia for making our stay special. Especially to our Ayoub, who made us feel so welcomed. He brought us teas and biscuits, helped us to find restaurant, was always so kind and so helpful to us. I’ve never seen such a hospitable and nice person. He is the best. Thank you so much for introducing us to Ayoub. Once I will be again in Marocco, I will definitely visit Riad Dar Dounia again.

Amazing Riad! The room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the pool and rooftop were lovey. Ayo really made our stay, he was incredibly welcoming, helpful and so fantastic at his job.

This is a lovely Riad in a good location. It’s a 10 minute very interesting walk to jemaa el-fnaa. The staff was extremely responsive and professional. The room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

Everything was perfect, and the staff was excellent.

The Riad is beautiful and very clean. The staff is amazing, very kind and will help you with anything. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast, that is served on the rooftop with a beautiful view of Marrakech, is abundant and really lovely.

Absolutely heavenly — there was nothing more that I needed - very sophisticated interior - newly done - seriously excellent and relaxed that’s what I went away for - there is a British / Moroccan style - fire at night I went in late Feb - perfect heat sunbathing on the roof - the staff were incredible - they were there when you needed them - just the right amount - couldn’t recommend more - I’ll be back.

nothing but positive things to say about this newly opened Riad: central location, extremely helpfull staff, clean en comfortable beds and marvelous breakfast with fresh products. What we especially appreciated, was the help from the staff: the Riad is in the central of the Medina and is only reachable by foot and is difficult to find the first time if you don't have Google Maps. if you order the airport transfert beforehand, the staff will come and pick you up and guide you to the Riad. They will give you a Maroccan SIM-card for your smartphone so that you can use Google Maps for free. This is extremely helpfull - traditional maps in the old city (certainly in the area of the souks) are not very usefull. They'll walk you to the meetingpoint if you ordered an excursion (the excursion-busses only have access to big roads, so a lot of hotels and Riads in the old city are not accessible for these busses). And all with a smile. Chapeau !

what a find! Lovely, understated Riad with super friendly and helpful staff in a quiet part of the Medina but close enough to walk to everything. Delicious breakfast (and dinner on request) close to some really nice more upmarket restaurants.

The rooms were spotless with very comfortable beds and new sheets and towels, and the location was perfect for exploring the medina. Breakfast was so good, and they even helped us organize a day trip that turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We were so happy with our stay at Riad Dar Dounia and are so glad we chose to stay here. The riad is brand new, and the staff is absolutely amazing—always there to help. We highly recommend it. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Riad Dar Dounia was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home. They arranged our airport transfer and met us at the drop-off point to guide us through the charming little streets to the riad – such a thoughtful touch that made our arrival effortless. As one of the first guests at this brand-new riad, we were blown away by how perfect everything was. The riad is even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was spotless, and the decor was stunning – a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan and international artistic design (the best of both worlds). It’s peaceful and calm, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The little touches, like the fragrant soaps and fresh towels, made it feel extra special. the breakfast on the terrace was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, Moroccan tea, warm bread, freshly baked pastries, and eggs, all while taking in a gorgeous view of the city. We also had dinner at the riad, and it was amazing – the chicken tagine was full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. The staff were incredible. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was booking excursions, suggesting places to visit, or even providing us with a local SIM card. Their kindness and hospitality truly made a difference. The location is ideal – close enough to walk to the main attractions but tucked away in a quiet area where you can fully relax. Taxis are just a short walk away, which made getting around very easy. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this gorgeous new riad!

Our only regret is that we only stayed for a short trip ! We wish we had booked a longer stay to enjoy more of this beautiful riad and its amazing hospitality.
