Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe location was a bit of a challenge. While it's close to the Medina, it's in a rougher part of Marrakech that can feel difficult to navigate — especially at night or if you're planning to visit places like Le Jardin Majorelle. Definitely something to check carefully before booking. We also experienced some miscommunication between team members. This led to us receiving the wrong dinner order (and being charged extra for it) and nearly missing our taxi because of a late update that it had been booked. Our room was on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen and dining area. It got noisy, and the lack of privacy made it hard to feel relaxed — especially since we couldn’t comfortably open the window. Lastly, while we were given breakfast at 8am as requested, it seemed like a strain for the team. Comments about being tired or sleepy made us feel like we were asking for too much, and breakfast was served a bit later than agreed.
We had a mostly pleasant stay. The Riad itself felt safe once inside, which was important for us as two girls traveling alone. The air conditioning worked well, and our room was completely cleaned with fresh towels provided on day two — a detail we really appreciated. The rooftop was a lovely space to relax, with comfortable seating and a nice view. Momo was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made us feel at ease. He was always available via WhatsApp, which gave us peace of mind. The cooking lady was also an absolute gem — kind and warm. However, we did experience some issues due to clear miscommunication between the team members, which caused a few inconveniences during our stay. Everyone was kind, but it felt like they weren't always on the same page. Overall, a nice experience with standout hospitality from some staff, but with room for improvement in internal communication.

FranceThe location is a bit difficult to navigate and not in the most touristic part of town.
Omar and Ekram showed us a great welcome and were very attentive during our stay. They were quite considerate. Omar helped us figure out our route out of Marrakech and even carried our bags while walking us to the taxi. The riad and the rooms were really charming and the rooftop was better than the previous riad we stayed at in the beginning of our trip. Overall, it was a great experience

FinlandStaying in the room at the bottom floor near the kitchen and main living quarters means little privacy and some noise. Thankfully the staff did some arrangements and got us to the upper rooms. This enabled more privacy.
The staff was warm and welcoming. They filled all our wishes. We were always treated with a smile and a warm attitude.

United KingdomAkram and Momo, the female staff who prepared our breakfast, are all friendly and trustworthy. They helped us in many ways and made us feel at ease during our stay. The building is a traditional place to enjoy different cultures and the rooms are good enough for a few days stay. The location also allows you to get to know the everyday life of the people. I would stay here again next time.

United KingdomThe location is both good and bad. We had stayed in the Medina nearer the main square before so had nights there tonsaok up the night scenes close to hime. We were here for the last 2 nights so was fine to just stay local at night. It's a little out of the way which depending on what you like might suit. Good to see local life and escape the main tourist alleys for a while, but a good 30-40mins walk from main square if you get lost on the way. Best way is to head to the outer walls 5mins away and go along it to the mosque if you don't want to crawl through the Medina all the time at snails pace because of the throng of shoppers.
Such a beautiful Riad, greeted with tea and biscuits, lovely dinner and amazing breakfasts. Arrived late evening from desert trip and was delighted to have such a lovely room, comfortable beds and a hot shower with good water pressure. All the fixtures in this Riad are wonderful, right down to the hammered copper sink and toilet roll cover!! Everything worked and was in good condition. One of the staff tried to call to help me with a tour booking. The other guy, Momo is very chill, just let's you get on with things but when asked is very helpful. I appreciate this style as don't need fussed over. He kindly let us keep bags there on check out so we could explore fully on our last day. Don't be freaked out by people hanging about the alley chatting and smoking. This is an area you can see more local life. Our experience was fine and I have a teenage daughter with us. When we arrived after dark, Momo was there to confirm the Riad name and show us in. The rooftop is not as bad as other make out although I had a better one before. I wasn't planning on using the hot tub which was not in use on our visit.

United KingdomIf not expecting the nature of the winding dark roads in the medina, the walk to the riad (especially at night) wasn’t the most pleasant. If you are a light sleeper (luckily we are not!) there may be issues with how much outside noise you can hear as the riad is essentially a large open courtyard.
Charming riad in the medina with friendly, helpful staff who were easy to contact via WhatsApp. The rooms were cleaned daily, beds large and comfortable with additional covers if needed for the cold night.

United KingdomLocation . We were lost for about an hour with aggressive hassle . The taxi dropped us outside the medina and the directions didn't help us find it . Located down an alleyway with no sign so really hard to find . A local pharmacist really helped us and we got another taxi but even then we had to walk the last bit down the alley with no signs . If you can get picked up or met the Riad itself is fine but don't try and find it independently ( mind you we didn't have google maps )
The tagline was lovely full of eggplant . One of the best veggie tagines on the trip . Wallid was kind and friendly and really helpful too when we eventually found the place . The taxi dropped us outside of the area and directions didn't help . .

IrelandThe location is quite intimidating while in the Medina outside of the main tourist area. I did feel unsafe. The Riad did collect and drop me off on request I tipped well for the service, so perhaps I should have booked closer to the main square. The rooftop requires some love and attention. The rooftop jacuzzi was not operational with no water and washing hanging all around it. Either have the jacuzzi fully functional or remove and rename the Riad to manage guest expectations. Coffee was served cold, but the lady remedied this quickly and gave out to Momo. I tipped Wllaid as it was him that helped me the most I noticed Momo taking 50 dirham of the 90 dirham I gave Wallid for change purposes. I hope the tip went to the intended person. I would recommend group bookings but not for a solo female due to the unsavoury location.
This Riad was nice and comfortable with friendly staff, who collected me and dropped me off to a central point when requested. They provided a takeaway breakfast on my first stay due to leaving early, which I really appreciated. Of all the Riads that I stayed in, this Riad did not appear to have the same pungent smell from the bathroom as in other Riads, which was most welcome.TV did not work on second visit and took a lot of effort on the first. Breakfast was quite nice with a yoghurt and omelette available. The Riad also held some of my luggage while I went to the desert and had it ready in my room on arrival for my second visit.
