You could hear everything what happened on the street in front of the riad at night.

The property is really traditional and the staff is really really kind. They waited for us every night and helped us with everything (trip to the desert, taxi, etc.) Also they have an amazing rooftop terrace.

- lock on the front door was jammy and didn't feel safe - not much privacy in the room (glass door with see-through drapes) - can get quite noisy in the mornings - the location might be difficult to find on your own - didn't have enough hot water to fill the bath

- big terrace with a great view - professional and helpful staff - big room with an okay bed - hot water - lots of shops and atms in the vicinity

The rooms could be cleaner

Mohamed was really helpful, gave us tips and showed us some local restaurants. The breakfast and the terrace was amazing, very relaxing atmosphere

Nothing to complain about. The room on the very top floor has no wifi but there was a sitting area one floor down we could use for this. The roof terrace more than made up for it

Mohammed is the kindest, most helpful host imaginable. The view from the roof terrace is the absolute best in the Medina and the interior of this 450-yr-old Riad was a cool and peaceful shelter from the bustle outside. The location in the heart of the old city was perfect for exploring Fes. Our son adored the breakfasts, especially the chocolate drink Mohammed gave him as a treat.

Some electrical fittings not working and a hard bed. But the manager allowed me to change rooms for a more comfortable one.

Clean property but probably a little past its sell by date. Some electrical fittings not working but a good hot shower. The manager was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat. A typical breakfast in the morning.

The Location of Riad is awkward. We were dropped off by the Taxi driver on the main road. Our host Halima told the taxi driver that she will come pick us up from there. Never showed up or answered phone. It was difficult to find the place. AC was OOO in the first room they gave us. They said it will be fixed next day. Next evening we came back, it wasn't fixed. Then they moved us to another room on the ground floor. The bathroom of this room was terrible. There is no way to wash your face on the wash basin. See picture. The bath tub was flooded. There is no pull handle on the inside to open the tightly shut door. The rooms are dark. You don't have access to kitchen to grab a glass or cup or knife to cut orange etc. They don't give you keys to the Riad. You may be standing outside for long time and keep knocking at the door before somebody will open the door. Booking.com Survey says that our Host Mohammed wants feedback. We never saw or met Mohammed. Maybe the ownership has transferred to new owners.

The Riad is beautiful, it is located in a palace from 1593 and is just outside the medina of Fes, an ideal and easy to find place to start the visit to the ancient city. In addition, it has a terrace where you can see the whole city. Latifa is a hostess, helpful and very kind, she helped us with all our requests, and in addition she is a great cook, the breakfast is excellent and in the evening she prepared a very good Moroccan dinner. Thank you Latifa, we will not forget you easily. We hope to see you again soon!

Nothing!

The location is really good. The staff are amazing and really caring. I appreciated every beautiful corners of this riad. They have the best breakfast of my whole stay in Morroco! I will definitely miss that

The rooms were very cold and the air conditioning/heater wasn’t working. The bathroom was very dirty. The towels provided were not properly washed. The whole place is very antiquated and needs urgent renovation. We paid good amount of money (€70 for 3 nights) but felt as if we stayed in a cheap motel. The walls need a lick of paint and the floors need some scrubbing. The bed had a cardboard mattress. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on our last day. I can’t believe this place is listed on Booking.com and the company has no shame making profits off it.

The staff were nice and made us good breakfast. Sadly the place is a shell of its former self which is very unfortunate.

We did not feel that the bedroom was clean. Bedsheets and towels did not felt clean. Electric installation needs some works. They are smoking in the hall of the riad which does not help but we turned the A/C on. The bathtube has a problem. Water is not running out and water gets stagnant leading to a bad smell. The WC was broken. A lot of light enters the bedroom during the night and it was not very quiet. We did not complain but those are things that we expected beforehand. The pictures do not reflect reality. We would not repeat despite the warm welcome from Mohamed.

Mohamed is a very nice person, helpful and gave us a lot of tips. He recommended a good restaurant and was always available and caring. The terrace has maybe the best views in Fez. It is very well located.

Very nice and helpful staff, always ready to advice or help with booking tickets, getting a bus or taxi. Big and good breakfast with a choice of sweet and savory. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace, perfect for watching sunsets. Also quite easy to find.

No WiFi on the top floor room.

Don't expect anything flash from this 450 year old Riad. It's old and in need of maintenance, but is located well and the staff are very helpful.
