Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyRiad location is a bit far from center and not look like secure in late hours. Poor variety at breakfast compared to my other stays.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and the environment is generally peaceful.

United KingdomI didn't love that there wasn't a proper lock on the door. I also did not like that the shower head had to be held (as in there wasn't a proper wall mount for the shower head).
The room was much larger than expected, and it offered AC which helped to cool the room in the evening. I also loved the ambience of the riad, which made it feel a bit more authentic.

United KingdomThe pool didn’t look too clean so we ended up not using the pool. There were hair on our bedsheets so I would prefer if it was cleaner. Not much choices for breakfast but staff were very accommodating with it. The location was pretty good as it is walkable to the market but wasn’t happy with the kids and people always standing around the corner.
I really like the decorations of the property. Very beautiful Riad. The staff were friendly and helpful. The smell of the incense is great. I also really liked the smell of the body soap and hand soap. The space of the room was perfect for the price.

ItalyBeautiful and quiet riad with nice and welcoming personnel. In the morning you wake up with birds chirping on the patio and the smell of coffee. The room was simple but nicely furnished and clean. Breakfast was tasty. Ideal position if you want to stay away from the chaos of the Medina while at the same time being not too far from it (20 mins walk from the main attractions). Highly recommended.

United KingdomThe breakfast is the same every day, which consisted of one pancake, bread and jam, a very small pot of chopped fruit, and coffee. I think some of this food is a standard Moroccan breakfast, but Europeans generally like to have toasted bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, meat, eggs, cereal etc, and like to vary their breakfast each day. The location is also quite a long walk away from the main Jamaa el Fna square (maybe about half an hour or so). The riad is still in the old medina area, but is on the outskirts. We got lost on our way back when we first arrived, and a young man offered to show us the way to the riad. He took us the long way round and then asked for money at the end. We gave him a small amount as hadn't got any small notes, but he made it clear he wasn't happy with this amount saying what we had given him wasn't much in Morocco, and started to intimidate, saying to give money to his friend, (who just appeared out of nowhere). So you just have to get lost around the area, or expect to pay people to guide you in the right direction. The beds in our room were also very firm, but we got used to them after a couple of nights. Not sure if these extra firm beds are what Moroccans generally sleep on!
The riad is very nice and has a lot of character as it is so old. Lots of little steps and winding staircases. The rooftop area was great with a few sunbeds and it is all very clean. Lots of birds flying around the courtyard all day looking for bread. The staff are pleasant, but speak little English, not that this matters really. The riad manager is very nice and helpful and speaks good English. It's all very pretty and quaint.

United States of AmericaRiad Nimbus is naturally beautiful, and unpretentious. Sweet welcoming caretaker who was there for me when i needed guidance and a strong hands with my bags. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Lovely refreshing garden pool, enjoyed by a few guests at a time. I opted for the best short massage ever. It felt infinite, intuitive, caring knowledgeable and very therapeutic. Slept great even after a long flight from California. Excellent double bed, nice shower, everything clean, including bathroom. Simple lovely breakfast.

United KingdomWe stayed for 4 nights in the standard room. Although it was great value for money, we wish we splashed out on a better room as we didn't have a window. However we didn't mind so much as we barely spent time in our room.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure we got safely to the Riad after a late flight. They also organised an amazing trip to Ourika Valley and a Hammam at the spa for us. The area was in a lovely friendly location where the locals live, although this was a good 20 + min walk to the attractions/ main square, it felt like a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle. The bed was big and comfortable and the en suite was great.

NetherlandsThe only downside was the WiFi, which worked very poorly. Incidentally, this was also often the case in other places.
we had a great time at the riad! the staff were more than helpful, even though some of them didn't speak full English they did everything they could to help us as best they could. The rooms were attractively and stylishly decorated. The hotel itself has a mega roof terrace with several seating areas, a swimming pool and various seating areas both inside and outside. Within a 20-minute walk you are in the heart of the center, as women we did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood around the riad. The breakfast was good. We also had a massage in the hotel, which was amazing.

United KingdomIf I had to give constructive criticism the beds are quite firm and could do with more pillows ( but that’s only because I like a soft bed and 3 pillows!😁)
I travelled with my husband and 3 sons just before Christmas 2022. We had a connecting room with en-suites to both bedrooms with hairdryer. My oldest son has a separate single en-suite room very close by. The Riad is about 20 minutes walk from the main square, once you get your bearings. It was peaceful, cool downstairs and lovely to sit upstairs on the roof terrace sipping tea in the sunshine. My youngest loved the pool. Lots of space and rooms so you didn’t feel on top of other guests. The housekeeping ladies were charming and other staff friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend it.
