Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI stayed in Marrakech for many days, and even after traveling to other cities, I chose to return to this Riad. The place is exceptionally clean, with daily housekeeping, and the host is incredibly kind, attentive, and responsible, which makes you feel completely at ease. I also booked desert and valley tours through the Riad, and they were all reliable, well-organized, and fairly priced. Both the private double room and the shared room were very convenient, with multiple bathrooms and toilets in the Riad, so there was never any issue. Guests can also use the fridge, and the breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic—a truly memorable stay. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Morocco. If I return, I will definitely choose this Riad again. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThe accommodation is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping. Washing and daily needs are very convenient, with a washing machine and refrigerator available. The rooftop is spacious and beautiful, perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset, and there’s even a clean and well-behaved cat that makes the atmosphere cozy and pleasant. The location is excellent—just a five-minute walk to the bustling commercial area, with banks, restaurants, local supermarkets, and international chain stores all nearby, making everything from dining to currency exchange very convenient. The overall environment is spacious, comfortable, and scenic—definitely a place worth recommending.

United KingdomThe environment here is very clean and tidy, with daily cleaning provided. The owner is very kind, attentive, and friendly, and the people I met here are all very nice and respectful. There are many services offered on-site, which is very convenient and trustworthy, so you don’t have to worry about being overcharged elsewhere. The location is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. Overall, the value for money is outstanding—this is by far the cleanest and most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended! Everything you need, like water, towels, and Wi-Fi, is easily available and very thoughtful.

RomaniaEverything was great :)
An amazing place, very welcoming, with a chill atmosphere and soo clean, there was not one moment for my entire stay, that I did not see the manager of the hostel, Ayoub with a broom in his hand, making sure everything was spot-clean :D. Riad dar sahrawi became a home for me during my stay in Marrakech, a real oasis in the desert. The location is very good, close to the big square, but the moment you enter through that blue entrance door, everything, all the hustle and bustle of the big city fades slowly away and you can enjoy a quiet night in the common room, or relax on the terrace. What I especially loved about this hostel though, were the people managing it!! Ayoub was incredibly helpful, every time I needed something, be it help with information about the city, tips for haggling or organising day trips for me, he went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I booked almost all my day trips and the desert trip to Merzouga through the hostel and I had some amazing experiences!!! I am so very thankful for all his help and care!! The entire stay was so good, that after my desert trip to Merzouga I came back to Riad dar sahrawi for 2 more nights, to enjoy Marrakech one more day before my travel to Casablanca. Oh and let's not forget about Osman's amazing breakfast!! The tea, msemen, eggs it was all veery delicious, every time I felt like having a family breakfast. I recommend this place wholeheartedly, it will make your trip to Morocco unforgettable!! As for me, I know I will come back to stay here :D

MoroccoBreakfast was fantastic, all the staff are so kind and helpful, and the four bed dorm room was the most spacious I stayed in during three months in Morocco, which was really nice! It was a bit tricky to find because I missed the sign on the side of the building, but the directions are accurate so you just have to be paying close attention. The location is really convenient to get a taxi to the airport or train station and it is only a 10 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The rooftop is also lovely, especially if you get a visit from the kittens! Thank you from Canada :)

SwitzerlandIt is more like a hostel than a riad but It is nice to have the facilities to cook and store food/water. We were very tired and at the end of our trip so people chatting on the terrace right outside our door was off putting but they were respectful and didn't carry on late. If you like a chill hostel and have the energy then it's perfect :)
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The private room was really nice and comfortable and spacious. The air con worked well. The location to the road to get a taxi, to the main square at jemma el fnaa, and to the medina was perfect.

Great host and a very convenient location, with lots of cheap, authentic places to eat nearby. Lots of recommendations given Nice terrace area upstairs and communal living room.
