Like all riads, it's not sound-proof but there's nothing much to do about it.

Really charming Riad, very nicely decorated. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The flower-filled terrace with pretty plants is a lovely place to have breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating.

We loved the Introducing tour around the riad, the welcome tea, the delicious breakfast and the kindness shown from the staff! All these little gestures made our stay unforgettable. Nothing comes to mind, which says a lot about our stay. Riad dar Sebta and the staff who work there did everything really well.

The location was really good, in the heart of Essaouira, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. It had real character and charm. The staff who we had contact with , Chichham and the young lady on reception who I sadly haven't got her name, could not have been more friendly and helpful. They really added to our stay there. The room we had was comfortable and very clean, which was a theam of the rest of the accommodation. I would be very happy to go back there , and would happily recommend Riad dar Sebta to anyone looking to stay at a Riad in Essaouira.

Decent riad with good location. The staff was friendly and breakfast was nice on the terrace. There's no AC, but our room stayed cool during the visit in May. Can probably be cold at night if you're staying during one of the colder months.

The bed was a litle challenging for an older person as it was surrounded by a concrete frame. Getting out to go to the bathroom in the night took some doing but it was a minor issue really. Comfy bed otherwise. Bathroom had no door which was OK as I was in the room on my own. Could have been a bit more difficult with someone else there. Other guests did not always take notice of the quiet time after 10pm and a couple of times I was woken up by people coming in late and shouting as they went up to their rooms. Again, a minor issue but would be nice if people were a little more considerate of others!

Lovely breakfasts with lots of different Moroccan breads/cakes/yoghurt/orange juice all freshly prepared. I loved the yoghurt. Various places in the riad to eat breakfast but we always ate downstairs. Staff were friendly, very helpful and available when you needed to ask a question about anything and worked well as a team. Great location in the medina and less than 5 minutes from the shopping areas. Beautifully decorated with some interesting furniture. Large bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Everything in the room that one would need including plenty of electrical sockets. I particularly liked the polished concrete which was used to great effect in several areas including the bathroom. Spent six nights here and we were sad to leave when the time came.

In one of the rooms, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom and this room did not have a bathroom door (just a curtain for privacy), so the smell would come in the main room but would go away after a while. Also, the missing door (with just a curtain) from the bathroom was a bit of a struggle.

The Riad was beautiful with a nice terrace where we were having our breakfast. The staff was very welcome and polite and they greed us with a nice tea and traditional snacks. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. The location was great as it was in the center and we went everywhere by foot.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Septa! The breakfast was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Most of all, the host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. We felt completely at home. Simply top-notch – highly recommended!

The hospitality. Hicham and Ranya were super friendly, helpful and absolutely saved my bacon as I forgot to print my boarding pass at the last minute. Seriously nice people here, very warm and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous room, great breakfast. Comfy bed and a great sleep. Superbly situated a stones throw from the main street literally a 1 minute walk.

Additional signage would have been helpful in locating the Riad as we passed the lane it was located on several times before finding it on the day we arrived.

We stayed at the Riad for five nights and enjoyed the bright and airy space the suite provided. The superb breakfast served on the terrace each morning by our kind and gracious host, Hicham, was the perfect start to each day! Thank you, Hicham!!!

Everything was great

Hicham was an ideal host, always attentive to our needs and happy to help with some mint tea or a restaurant reservation. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the terraces were an ideal spot for dining or viewing the sunset. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well-designed, and the location was ideal.
