Breakfast was fine. Bed was comfortable. Location is horrible! Cars cannot go into Medina, which is a series of narrow, crowded, chaotic alleyways that no newcomer can possibly navigate without trying to ask bystanders. This riad is located deep within the medina, about a 10 minute confusing walk to get out to main road, where you then can hail a taxi to get into the center of Marrakech, about a 10-15 minute ride.

Can't change the location, which might appeal to adventurous types with minimal luggage (maybe backpacks or small carryons), who can climb narrow steps to their rooms. Unlike photos, room was tiny and dark, with minimal lighting. Lighting in bathroom was dim with no counterspace for personal items. Although we paid in advance for 3 nights, we left after one night. Found a hotel in the center of town for less per night.

    Property response:

Hello, we're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. It's true that cars are not allowed, and that you can only discover and stay in this area on foot. In fact, you'll understand that using a car in the narrow streets would be a miracle! Tourists looking for a change of scenery and to discover the authenticity of Marrakech come here for these reasons, as well as for the narrow streets full of shops where they can indulge in the pleasure of savouring Moroccan craftsmanship. A less typical but equally pleasant stay in districts such as Gueliz or Hivernage would have been closer to your expectations. As far as the bathrooms are concerned, they each have at least 2 shelves (depending on the room) and 2 light points each, sorry if that's not enough for you. As for the size of the rooms, they are perfectly in line with the descriptions given by our various partners and on our website. It would be inappropriate and counter-productive for us to "fiddle" with so many photos! Finally, we understand that you have found your happiness in a hotel outside the Medina, and we hope that you have found it to your complete satisfaction, so that you can enjoy your stay in the beautiful city of Marrakech to the full!

Very tasty breakfast and when we were looking for this riad, we encountered scam. The staff of the reid next door came out to help in time and sent us to the door of this riad.

The front desk did not promptly inform us that there would be a charge for the laundry service, but the manager waived the charge after negotiation.
