Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaWhenever I had food in my room, a whole army of ants would come into my room
Personnel was very friendly and the room was nice. Unlike other reviews I've read, my room had a door with a lock.

United KingdomThere is no shower/ toilet door for the communal facility located one floor higher, accessed via a narrow staircase
The property is in the medina, a family house offering two rooms - we picked the larger, which offered a bed and banquettes. The family are very friendly, and live on the floor below. There is a sheltered roof terrace . Staying here, you feel you are witness to full Moroccan family life ... which means all noise from below floats up; during our stay, the family went to bed ca. 11.30 p.m.. All external calls to prayer are fully audible, as is the family cockerel, hailing the new dawn; such are the realities of a stay here.

United KingdomThe bathroom was the only issue really it didnt have a sink so the sink is outside the bathroom, the curtain needs to be changed. You need to be small and comfortable going up to take a shower because the stairs are narrow.
I loved the owner Zouhair, really nice and humble, tried to help as much as he could. The place is ok for one max two nights.

United StatesExtremely noisy in the evenings outside and inside. Terrace was taken up by stinky noisy chickens. "Pretend kitchen" was dirty and had no gas available for coffee or tea in the morning. No garbage facilities. This place has 2 rooms on the second floor, third floor is pretend kitchen, toilet, shower and terrace with stinky chickens. Host family lives on the first floor and doesn't keep track of toilet paper availability, garbage or cleaning of 2nd and 3rd floors despite having 6 visitors one night. Finally, this room was taken up space by a bunch of stuffed animals and an extra 4 blankets. This family was friendly and kind but needs to clean up their act.
Hot shower but wasn't cleaned in the 5 days we were there.

United KingdomHowever I was travelling with the child who was partially blind our room was on first floor toilet was on third floor. The stairs were very hazardous for my child. Which they acknowledged. But decided not to give a refund. The establishment clearly advertised a private bathroom TV, breakfast and english speaker but was not available. The toilet which used downstairs there was no lock from inside. This establishment should be kept for safety

CanadaIs no sign, was a fluke to find it. Is a family renting out 2 rooms. Nice people. Wifi wouldn't work for me, despite teenage daughter"s half hour effort. Have to climb what is essentially a ladder in the dark to the toilet - scary and risk of injury coming down.. Bed and pillows hard as rock. Very inexpensive, but simply not suitable. Good location

EstoniaThere’s a window which you can’t close and people outside the room make a lot of noise and yell, it would’ve been impossible to fall asleep before 1am. They also have a rooster that started crowing at 6am and I couldn’t sleep for hours.

Czech RepublicWe can only recommend the stay to cultural anthropologists. Unfortunately, the locals probably have no idea about the standards of tourist accommodation. In the room there is no glass in the window, so you can fully enjoy family life in Morocco. The bed is heavily worn and two people have no chance to sleep on it. The toilet is shared with the shower, smells strongly and has only a curtain.
