Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Well lit shower rooms with gel and shampoo. Washing machine and dryer if needed. Great views from terrace. Delicious meal prepared by the housekeeper

Some cushions on the roof terrace would be welcome.

Beautiful house and great location in the medina for easy access to all shops and restaurants. The roof terrace is wonderful.

Beds were too firm for us but this is personal preference and it was quite noisy from the street outside. Also would have been nice to have a few groceries left for us, milk, bread, eggs etc.

The accommodation is very well located in the Medina. It is comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with great attention to every detail. It has 3 levels of living space, plus a rooftop deck with plenty of seating options. That does mean a lot of walking up and down stairs, but we were fine with that. The whole place is very private, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer (we didn't use), 4 beds and 2 small but lovely baths on the two upper levels (both with separate toilets). We were only a couple so used the top level bedroom which had a large comfy bed and was very bright and airy. We had a little rain and it was windy/cool off and on while we were there in April, so we didn't get to use the roof deck much, but did go up a few times to check out the great views. Wifi is strong throughout. Juliette, the host, is absolutely lovely and met us at the beginning and end of our stay. She even bought me some pastries for my birthday! Arrival was easy - you can get a porter to help with bags from the car/taxi park if needed, but it is only a 5 min walk into the Medina.

Very attractive town house in the centre of the medina full of local character. Accommodation very adequate for our group of four; room too for another two or three children. Kitchen was also very adequate, though we mostly eat out.

We would have liked a few comfortable chairs and an electric fire as the nights are quite cold in January.

We really enjoyed the expansive views out to the Atlantic and considerable space in our private riad. It was like a home away from home. Everything you could need for a comfortable retreat by the sea was available. Lovely places to dine and shop were close by. It was easy to access the waterfront and a taxi. Our host Juliette was very kind and helpful. We were really delighted with our experience in Essaouira and highly recommend this private riad for a family or friends wanting to experience this charming town.

This is probably one of the nicest accommodation that I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t even do it justice. The house is incredibly beautiful, very spacious and the rooftop terrace is amazing. It is also close to the medina door for easy access and close to the main streets of the medina as well. We loved everything about this accommodation and highly recommend it!

Gem of a place. Very well appointed and very central in the medina. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were made to feel at home.

Fabulous stay in Juliette’s Riad- extremely clean and well equipped with a fantastic view from the private terrasse. Beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. Well situated with restaurants and amenities very close by. Juliette was always nearby if we needed her and ready to answer any questions. We would highly recommend this address and hope to come back soon.

Well it was a complete house which had been rebuilt in the last five years, with nothing spared in terms of facilities on offer. We were on a self catering, although the housekeeper / cleaner would have come in to prepare a breakfast or an traditional Moroccan meal, if required. It was beautifully fitted out and on four levels if you count the terrace on the top, which had wonderful views of the sea, sunbeds, and an outdoor table and seating plus inbuilt barbecue.

Although not a problem for ourselves, as there is no lift, it is not ideal for people with mobility problems. There are numerous mosques dotted around Essaouira and when it is time to pray there is some wailing, which is a bit alarming on the first day or so, but we soon got used to it. Part of the charm of the town.

This riad was gorgeous and our host Juliette was very helpful and welcoming . The view from roof terrace is wonderful and rooms extremely comfortable with great bedding . Highly recommend , this is a genuine find and adds to the delight that is Essaouira!
