How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe absolutely loved our stay at Riad des trois palais. The place is clean, organized and the manager of the hotel is attentive to every need-question required to make the stay better. He explained to us the basics of the city and even recommended places to see and gave us a map. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's a short walk away from any tourist attraction and the breakfast is authentic and delicious

Verified reviewOur host, Karim, was very friendly and helped us get where we needed to go. He showed us how to get to the center of the Medina so we could explore and get something to eat. He also helped with finding our tour the next day. He even got up early so that we could have breakfast before the tour. It was located in the Medina and was not far from the center.
Nothing.

Verified reviewMy partner and I were lucky to have chosen this riad for our stay in Morocco, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and most importantly, spotlessly clean- the perfect place to rest and relax after a long day exploring Marrakech. Each morning we woke up looking forward to breakfast, one of the best we've ever had while travelling - tasteful, abundant and fresh. The staff at the riad was exceptional, everyone was so kind and welcoming. In particular, a special thank you goes to Karim who welcomed us with traditional tea and Moroccan pastries and immediately made us feel at home. He took the time to share local tips and recommendations, helped us plan our day trips and activities, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our time. Karim was truly the highlight of our vacation, such a beautiful soul who made our vacation even more special. We're so grateful to have met him!

Verified reviewThe breakfast was really good - based on a continental type, but with omelettes and toast too, and a good range of jams. Our room was small (as you'd expect in a riad), but well-furnished, and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and while the bathroom showed some age, it was easy to have a hot shower. The staff really went out of their way to welcome us, and to help us. Our taxi to Essaouira was unreasonably delayed, and they arranged for another driver to take us, who was such a good driver that we've booked him again to take us on the return journey to Marrakech.
The shower could do with updating a little.

Verified reviewConvenient location within easy walking distance to Jamal El Fna square and the main sightseeing places in the medina. The property is tastefully done with clean rooms and a beautiful central courtyard which is also artistically decorated with everyday objects giving it a homely feel. The rooftop terrace is also splendidly done with sofas and lounge chairs for relaxing; the highest perch affords a magnificent view of the snow capped High Atlas on clear days. The best part is the extremely helpful and welcoming staff especially the charming and enthusiastic Wahib who greeted us at the parking, helped us with our bags and also used his contacts to help us buy some home made cookies saving us the bother of finding our way through the confusing medina lanes.
Although the room was a decently sized in terms of overall area, it was rather rectangular with very little space between the edges of the bed and the wall-this is a minor thing for me though it could be an issue for some people who tend to swing their legs towards the bed edge while getting up.

Verified reviewLocation was very good (within walking distance from main attractions), flexibility of staff (e.g. organizing taxis / breakfast outside hours), staff 24h available
The terrace was not ready for use (no pillows on the couches), wifi signal was too weak, there was a desk in the room but it wasn't comfortable.

Verified reviewThe on-site manager Wahib made us feel welcome and was always on hand to help out with any problem or answer any question. He could not have been more helpful and it was in large part due to him that our stay was so successful. The other staff were also courteous, friendly and helpful. Ten out of ten. The breakfasts were tasty and we enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace.
We liked everything!

Verified reviewThe staff is amazing, the hospitality indeed exceeded all my expectations, I'm very thankful to Mr.Superman, he made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is in a good location,it is clean,it is very comfortable and nice.
During my stay 100EURO's have dissappeared from my wallet, which was in the room, while we were out in the town.I don't blame no one, maybe i got it stolen somewhere else, but i dont think so. All i want to highlight is that make sure to hide your wallets here and your money, perhaps put it in the safe in the room,i wasn't very careful with my goods and this happened, this applies to all Morocco. Breakfast is very rich in carbohydrates and sugar,i would recommend them to switch to some proteins as well and fats, it is very tasty but after my trip i needed a week of sugar and carb detoxification. I recommend this riad but take care on your goods.

Verified reviewNice place, friendly and helpful host, good location, close to Jemaa el-Fna but still away from the noisy and crowded streets, a mini store is very close (30m away) where you can buy a bottle of water with aprox 6 MAD (60 cents) and is opened until late in the night, very close to a parking place where you can reach with the car or cab (100-150m away) so you don't have to search too much for the place, and the place was clean.
Would be nicer if the breakfast could be adjusted a little bit or let's say diversified : an egg, salami, cheese whatever. Now is more oriented to sweet breakfast (pancakes, gem, honey). For the cold season, the AC is not enough and is very noisy over the night - I suggest to go for an electrical radiator which is noiseless and more efficient. In my room there was no hot water on the sink but wasn't the case in the shower. So not a big problem. And for the main door, a system to open the door without ringing on the bell and waiting for the host to open the door would be welcome. Is not that our friend did not open in time, we never waited more then 10 seconds, but we felt a little bit awkward (or better said uncomfortable) to come late in the night and put someone to open the door for us. Maybe wasn't the right time for it and wasn't clean so this could be not relevant, but the roof jacuzzi did not seem to be something to get into it :D

Verified reviewThe location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Medina, just a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Our host, Ouahib, is the most hospitable person I have ever met. He provided us with his mobile phone number and made himself available 24 hours a day. He was eager to meet our needs and responded to all our inquiries immediately. When the ladies in the kitchen were unavailable, he even prepared an early breakfast for us. The room was exceptionally clean, featuring a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom.
Management should consider adapting the breakfast menu for guests staying longer than a week. Although breakfast was delicious and tasty, I think I'll be avoiding crepes, jam, and other sweet stuff for a while. :)
