Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandNothing major, but would've liked a place to hang clothes in the room. Also would recommend earplugs for sleeping as you can hear all the sounds echoing from the common areas in the room.
Great location, very nice breakfast, wonderful staff, beautiful interior.

United KingdomI felt the taxi charge to one of the golf courses was steep and we stopped using their taxis because of the price for day trips I would say to use the Riads taxi for airport transfers as that part of the service was excellent
The staff are extremely polite, patient and helpful

United KingdomThe bed was quite hard. I'm sure some people like a firm bed but just not for us. The pool was very cold!
Amazing location in the centre of the Medina. Wonderful rooftop restaurant where we had breakfast plus sun loungers. Really lovely rooms and clean. Beautiful Riad and amazing staff. They really went above and beyond. A big shout out to Mohamed (reception) and Mohamed (manager) who really made our stay memorable. They were so friendly, welcoming and offered so much helpful advice.

SlovakiaRooms on the ground floor are humid because of the underground water canal below the building. One of the rooms had a wet wall and smelled unpleasantly (because of humidity only. Otherwise, it was a clean room) When we asked for changing a room, staff was helpful, and we changed to the less humid one (without wet walls).
Very kind and helpful staff. The receptionist showed us a map of Marrakech and recommended monumnets and restaurants to visit based on our needs, which we really appreciated. He tried to do everything to make us have a good stay. As a welcome drink, we got a very good Morrocan tea. The interior of the riad was very nice.

SwitzerlandThe room is very little (you can't even open the bathroom door properly, because the bed is in it's way) and the bathroom is missing an air exhaust vent, so it's very humid in the room.
Nice Lobby, sweet staff and very central. They like to upgrade your experience with love on details, like rose flowers on bedsheet and bathroom.

United KingdomThe rooms are basic once in there. No hair dryer, irons or a tv if you wanted to chill and watch tv. We were more than happy with no tv but some people may not like the idea. The walls are also thin. So it becomes really loud with lots of echoing voices. So getting to sleep is quite hard plus the beds are so hard so I struggled a bit with my back.
The location was ideal if you wanna stay around the lively main square. Just round the corner in a little street. So quiet surrounding area. The food was also a plus. Didn’t expect much with the half board options but a nice surprise. The staff were really nice and friendly. Always smiling and eager to help. The main sitting areas when you walk in are also really nice. Well decorated and well maintained with a nice pool.

United KingdomThe location was amazing… right in the heart of the Old City. The Riad Flamme D’Orient was authentic - woke every morning to the sound of birdsong. And the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Special mention for Fatah and Zainab who did everything they could to make our stay at this Riad, and indeed our time in Marrakech as fun and as special as it was.

United KingdomThe staff were great and very helpful, the riad is beautiful and the location is perfect. The only thing I would say is the hamaam/massage wasn't great, it was very rushed and an hour past when we booked, and the girls stayed in the room on tiktok on their phones while my friend had her massage so that sort of ruined the ambience Stunning riad and great staff though!

PhilippinesWe went last January and It can be very cold at night and early morning, we would love it more if there are heaters in the rooftop for breakfast or dinner.
The riad was vibrant and staffs are warm and friendly. It is easily found using a map and we felt safe all throughout our trip!

NetherlandsToo bad my Moroccan friend wasn't welcome to stay in this Riad because of some unspecified Moroccan Riad rules. So I'd to book my friend last minute another place to stay, what made my stay less welcome. These Moroccan Riad rules didn't apply in other Riads we stayed, so they made their own rules!
The whole admosphere of the property is nice. The room is comfy.

Staff absolutely amazing. Zac who did the check in explained everything to detail. Everyone in reception and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The sweet smell in the building were noticeable and the room were very clean. 5 stars to the staff! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location very close to the main square
