We unfortunately only stayed here for a night but the place is really lovely! The room is cozy, clean and really beautifully decorated, the outdoor area is amazing and the location is great. The staff were also really nice and helpful.

The shower head needed fixing, and they didn't clean the room for the 3 nights I stayed. I guess I should have asked as I think this is normal in Morroco.

Everything was great. Perhaps I could just mention that there are tiny stairs, not easy to use if you have heavy luggage. This is not an issue as you can leave your luggage near the reception.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Riad. The location is excellent. It is quiet while very close to the center and Jemaa el-Fnaa and square market. The person at the reception is very helpful. He came to pick me from the square place as it would be difficult to find the hotel without help. Much appreciated. I was welcome with a cup of Tea. The room was big enough and clean, with AC, hot water etc. Excellent experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very clean, and when I asked to change my room because the previous one felt a bit stuffy, the staff responded immediately and helped me without any delay. The staff is very friendly and always tries to give clear and helpful answers to any questions. The riad is quiet and peaceful, which makes it perfect for a good night’s sleep.

Wonderful hospitality, the staff was very helpful - assisting and setting up taxi rides for us for pick ups from and to the airport and train station. The place is beautiful with a great rooftop area to sit and relax. We loved our stay!

Limited views/windows. Many cats in the area, which leave a peculiar smell. Approach less charming.

Just make sure you put the name of the Riad in google maps and not the address. The address takes you to a different location. Make sure you get plenty of cash at the airport as they take a city tax only in cash!

The owner was very friendly , helpful and polite. The riad is in the best location possible , in the heart of the center yet very quiet. Room was a bit small and there was no bathroom door which was something we were not used to.

A very nice riad located in a quiet side road, but just three minutes from Place des Ferblantiers, restaurants and shops. We stayed at Riad Gjulja three times, while travelling back and fourth through Morocco. The staff was extremely nice, and we really enjoyed our stays and the roof terrace. Thank you so much :)

The soundproofing of the room is not very good

Didn’t have any issues personally. There was some construction nearby but didn’t affect us really at all.

This was a fantastic find. Great value for money. Very close to the places we wanted to visit. About ten minutes walk from the main square, El Badi Palace, The Mellah, Saadian Tombs etc. Very well cared for and full of character. Redouane, who picked us up from the taxi to bring us into the Medina and provided such good service and advice for the whole stay, was fantastic. Our room was exactly as pictured on here and was a really pleasant and comfy escape from the bustle and energy of the old town. The breakfast was really good too. Will certainly come back here when we return to Marrakesh in the future.

The stay at Riad Gjulja was good but don’t book the 3 day Merzouga trip with the riad. The company used treat you like cattle, use so called tour guides that mainly take you to shops, first night accommodation is dirty and cheap and you are expected to share with 2 or 3 strangers even if you you pay extra for ‘luxury’ The owner of Riad Gyjula is very nice and helpful but needs to use a better travel company - if there is one there is one in Marrakesh.

I have travelled a lot and have to admit it was the hardest bed mattress I have ever slept on. I got accustomed to it after a few nights and slept very well.

Great location for us, very central to the markets and restaurants. Easy access for the airport. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a few early excursions so would miss breakfast but the staff made us takeaway breakfast which was waiting for us in the morning.

The rooms are small but very clean and have everything you need. The location is very close to all of the shoes and the square is a short walk. It is in a very quiet location so we slept very well at night.

Breakfast was wonderful and the woman who prepared it was so kind and accommodating.
