The room we got was a bit cramped, but everything else was superb!

The riad has a very pleasant and cozy ambiance. Our host Moha(mmed) was very welcoming and open, and the rest of the staff were friendly too! Breakfast on the rooftop was nice, and so was the 'jacuzzi'. The location right on the edge of the medina was great as well.

I had a wonderful experience in this riad, from the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. I am so happy that I chose to stay in Riad Ilyan & Spa. As a solo female traveller it truly exceeded any expectations I could have had. Staying at this riad was one of the best parts of our Marrakech trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, smiles, and the most amazing Moroccan tea! The rooms had just a small window and a strange smell after a while.

The room was very clean. The location was 10-15 min away from Jemaa el-Fnaa, where more locals lived. The view from the Terrace was beautiful. The personal was very frendly.

I guess the room was a bit smaller then aspected but I guess are just my aspectations and the pressure at the shower was not enough but I guess was because was late at night

I like that was in the heart of the city easy to get around the staff was welcoming even if we arrived late. Had an lovely rooftop terrace will a amazing view over the city.

Everything about riad Ilyan is perfect ! From the food to the hosts and all of the staff. It was my wife’s and my first trip ever to Morocco and definitely our new mates Moha and Ahmed improved the whole experience. Never got so excited for breakfast ever in my life hahah. The property was very airy and thoughtfully designed with good facilities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and helped us with everything, from taxis to printing our boarding passes. For us as vegans, breakfast included mint tea, coffee, orange juice and bread with jam, and this morning we had a fruit cocktail.

The inside pool was very cold during our stay and did not warm up (even on days with 32° heat) which made it pretty impossible to go in it. They're currently building what looks like a second pool on the rooftop which I'm sure once it's done will be lovely - just a shame it was not done for our stay! The room was also a little small and, like others have said before, it can be a bit hard to open up a suitcase inside.

We arrived early in the morning, and were able to leave our luggage, ready to check in later that day - at this time Moha and rest of the staff were very welcoming, gave us some complimentary tea and biscuits, helped set up our SIMs, gave us recommendations for what to do and where to eat during our stay. The bedroom was cleaned every morning and the breakfast was very filling!

We had an amazing stay at Riad Ilyan. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They even surprised my partner with a cake for his birthday. The roof terrace was beautiful! Sadly, the pool was not working for our stay, which was a shame.
