Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe bathroom is tight. It’s about 12 ft.² with the shower toilet and sink in one room. You essentially have to sit on the toilet lid to take a shower and order to do so comfortably. There’s not a lot of storage in the bathroom, but it’s best to leave your towel outside as well as the toilet paper when you shower because most things in the room get wet. There’s no mirror in the bathroom. There’s not a lot of storage in the bedroom either. We stayed for nine nights, so if you’re there for a shorter period of time and have less luggage, it may be more tolerable.
The location is good, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, it’s very clean, the water pressure is good and so is the hot water. The bed is also comfortable and it’s in a quiet area.

The location was fabulous. Practically next door to Bahia Palace and a nice steady walk through shops and restaurants towards the main square. Or by the main road which came out close to the square or closer to the main mosque. Many nice restaurants very close Frequent taxis passing by easy to access without booking in advance Breakfast was good. Slight variation each day. Filling and fresh. Was served literally across in a beautiful Riad in their inner courtyard. Light and airy with gentle music playing in the background. You were able to leave your luggage at the end of your stay at no extra charge. Staff were very welcoming and friendly

FinlandThe bathroom was rather asketic and the bed could have been smoother, but I think that compared to the price this Riad is worth staying.
The breakfast was really good. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was average and simple, but I slept well. The nights in Marrakech are cold at winter but the air conditioner was working well.

PortugalThis is not related to the Riad itself but if you care about animals and specifically cats, please try and get since cat food at a Carrefur supermarket and feed them once in a while. There are a lot of BABY STRAY CATS in really bad condition that need food and water and every small gesture counts. I am not an animal lover fanatic but I am always willing to help a living creature in need.
The location was great and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

United KingdomBreakfast was included with our room but we had to go to a different riad to eat it which was slightly inconvenient but other than that, everything was great.
Host was very friendly, super accessible, and arranged for us to have a 3-day excursion to the Sahara. Location of the Riad was great too, just a 10 minute walk to the main square in the centre of the medina.

BelgiumWhen I was here the first time, the WiFi worked perfectly. This time there were some issues the first days. After a couple of days, Latifa took care of it and it worked perfectly again.
It was the second time I stayed here, this time I took a better room. It was very good and clean, the shower was better and I had some shelved to put on some clothes. Breakfast was very delicious. I had to go to the other accommodation, which is not far. The only problem was that they all were on the rooftop so when I knocked or ringed the bell, they didn't hear it and nobody came. I had to shout their names so they would come and open the door. It was not a big deal for me because I know them. But if you don't, or are a bit shy, I can imagine it would be annoying.

United KingdomThe furniture was tired and the whole place could use an influx of cash. It was cheap and you always get what you pay for.
Cheap and cheerful. The staff were the best part, very helpful and always asking how everything was going. When I mentioned that the bed was uncomfortable they changed the mattress. The housekeepers were always cleaning and the floor was cleaned everyday.

IndonesiaThe only thing was that the stream of water coming out of the shower was very small which made it difficult to shower especially if I wanted to wash my hair. But the temperature of the water was really nice.
I had a very nice stay at Riad Dar Lfonoun. The breakfast was amazing and different every day. The people of the Riad were very friendly. Latifa asked me every day if everything was ok and if I needed anything. When I went on a tour, I left before breakfast but Latifa prepared something for me that I could take with me. I would definitely recommend this place and will come back myself!

BelgiumThe room didn't have proper windows, only wooden shutters. The people in the other room on the same floor were smokers, so the smoke also came into my room. This is not a big issue, but it bothered me.
The staff (Zack and I think it was Fatima) were very friendly. They arranged an airport pick up and took me to a small shop when I wanted to buy some drinks. You can have dinner at the Riad, which was very good. The breakfast is rich. The room was clean and big enough although it could use a cupboard (only one coat rack). I got a map of the city which was useful. The location is in a quiet area, but with a lot of monuments nearby.

PhilippinesThe way going to the riad is quite sketchy. Do not walk alone at night. The breakfast is the same every day. Toiletries provided do not last for a week.
The riad is located within the medina. Staff were polite and accommodating especially the lady who prepares the breakfast.
