Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

AustraliaThe location was perfect - right around the corner from the main square, Jemaa El Fnaa, yet far enough from the bustling streets that it was silent and peaceful. The breakfast was excellent, offering a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan dishes and familiar Western options. The room was great - large, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our host was also very accommodating and made the best mint teas we had anywhere in Morocco.

SwitzerlandThe cleaning of the bathroom should definitely be improved. The facilities in the bathroom were outdated: the tap at the sink and shower would block, usually on the hot water and it was almost impossible to close them; the toilet was moving when sitting on it; there was no shelf in the shower to place the shampoo and shower gel. The bedsheets with the pillows, duvet, and the towels were outdated and should definitely be replaced. Although the bedsheets were clean, under them the pillows and duvet were stained and dirty. Although the internet in the reception was working well, we barely had any signal in our room and most of the time it would not work.
The property was well located close to the main square and right in the old city center. The hosts were very nice and helpful, providing important advice. The breakfast was delicious and it had a variety of options. The riad was nicely decorated in a traditional Moroccan style.

United KingdomThe only problem I had was with the water pressure when washing my hair - I have long and quite thick hair so it took a long time to get shampoo out so a warning for those with similar hair! But worth it for everything else.
Beautiful place. The best location, right in the heart of the medina but also not directly in the main square which is good. Muhammad was a great host and went above and beyond. Breakfast was perfect and there was plenty of it. I requested an egg on one of the days as I like something savoury among the mostly sweet breakfast so a little tip for those of you who are the same way inclined. Eating it next to the pool was idyllic. The bed was so comfortable and not too firm or soft - felt like a new mattress.

United KingdomNothing particularly. If I'm being fussy, it would have been great if the WIFI worked in the room... it was very patchy there. Though in honesty it was fine as the signal strength was good by the pool.
We particularly liked the location and the helfulness of the staff. Mohammed was absolutely fantastic... super helpful, really flexible and amazingly attentive.

Riad is just in the middle of everything and very close to everywhere. But most important thing is everyone is soooo helpful and friendly. We got very sick with my boyfriend and they helped for everything they prepared food specifically for us whenever we ask. The best Riad in Marrakesh.

PortugalI want to emphasise that our room was very clean. However, I think the big rugs in the rooms get easily dirty if the guests don't take their shoes off when entering the room, especially after spending the day walking around the medina. So maybe something to think about...
The riad was beautiful, just as in the pictures. Everything was very clean both in the room and outside in the eating area. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and warm and it was always a pleasure coming back to the riad after a long day. We got good recommendations from Muhammed about restaurants and what to do. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff was kind enough to prepare something for us even before breakfast hours on the day we had an early trip. We would definitely recommend this riad.

SwitzerlandNothing! All was perfect.
Having now stayed at many hotels around Morocco (as well as other options in Marrakech, this is a gorgzous place to stay. Our room was beautifully done, cosy and plenty of charm. Great breakfast, friendly staff, and a nice terrace to hang out in. Amazing location and super quiet despite being at the heart of the medina. Very highly recommended!

United KingdomWhat a fantastic holiday! This Riad is exceptional with very friendly and very helpful staff. We would highly recommend this Riad for anyone wishing to holiday in the wonderful country of Morroco. The location is perfect, closely situated to the main square but set back from the streets to provide an oasis of tranquility in a vibrant and fascinating city. It's good? It's amazing.

United KingdomThe Riad was beautiful, so well decorated and peaceful. It is in a great location only a couple minutes walk from the main square, yet when you are inside it is so quiet and clean. We really enjoyed being able to pop back in during the day to get a break from the chaos of the medina and relax on the terrace. We were served a lovely fresh breakfast and were welcomed so kindly by the staff who were very attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to stay in the Medina.

United KingdomOur room was good, if a little rustic. The bed was pretty firm and the bathroom wasn't 5-star quality in finish, but the shower worked well and it was kept clean. For us, we would have liked a kettle in the room and a small fridge would have been nice. Nothing here that spoiled our stay in any way though.
The staff and location are a massive hit for this Riad. Our hosts were always extremely polite and offered excellent advice about the locality, places to visit plus things to avoid and watch out for*. If you want to truly be in the centre of Medina life, this Riad location is amazing. 100m stroll and you are in the main Medina square (Jamaa El Fna) packed full of all sorts of traders and street performers. Equally, for such a short stroll you can find yourself in the labyrinth of souks (small shops) that Marrakech is famed for, just North of the main square. Le Jardin Secret is a 10min stroll away. Being in the centre of the action, there are countless restaurants in the neighbouring streets to the Riad selling good, inexpensive cuisine (approx 65/85Drm for 'Menu de Jour' - starter and main), where you can sit and watch the world go by. We took our Riad's advice and stayed clear of the main restaurants that encircle the main square which are hugely over-priced. Despite, being in the thick of the noisy Medina, this Riad is a quiet oasis with its own roof terrace where you can see the Atlas mountains and watch the sun go down over the rooftops of Marrakech. The Riad felt very safe and secure both night and day. Breakfast in the morning was traditional Moroccan style with pastries, jams, honey, olives, fruit and yogurt which you could take in the inner courtyard, your room, or the roof terrace. Eggs or an omelette were also available. *Despite its chaotic nature and extremely vibrant markets, the people of Marrakech are very polite and the traders aren't very pushy. It also felt very safe but it pays to be cautious in such a place and take good advice from the Riad. As a side note, alcohol isn't widely available and expensive in Marrakesh so we brought our own duty free to sip with coke at the Riad.

BulgariaHonestly I expected much more. From the photoes here on Booking I thought it's bright and shine :) but actually it is dark and old or not renovated. I don't know other rooms but I was disapointed from our. Yes, the furniture and decoration looks like the same, but unwelcoming.
The stuff is very polite and the breakfast enough and delicious. I like the opposite site of the Medina more, but it has super location few steps from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Very pleasant stay on the rooftop
