For a small Riad, this place is well equipped, but a bottle of water in the room would be nice, especially during the summer months. Sometimes it can be noisy if guests think it's their own Riad, but luckily the hotel staff make sure to let people know that they could disturb other hotel guests at night. There are no shower matts, such best you bring slippers if you don't want to walk barefoot into a very unique shower experience 😊 These are all minor things and no biggies.

Even before the journey started, Astra Damus hotel staff already took good care of me. They arranged my Taxi from and to the airport and picked me up at a location in the Medina to take me to the Riad for my stay. I am glad they picked me up, as you can easily get lost in the narrow streets of this labyrinth old town. I was welcomed with a tea set of Mint tea and all throughout the stay, they made me feel at home. This small Riad in the middle in the Medina is very close to all major attractions. Luckily it's tucked away and it's quiet. It only took me 8 min walk to the main square. Inside the Riad the walls are white and ornate with typical mosaic stones and Moroccan patterns. You will find a rooftop where you can rest after a day of exploration. They will offer you a mint tea for a good night drink. If you have breakfast there, you will get a different one every day. Their Orange juice and Crepes and coffee are really good. The rooms and Riad in general are very clean. Fresh flowers are placed everywhere and give this place a real homely feel. A big thanks to Said and Mohammed for a very welcoming and enjoyable stay and especially to Said to make sure I arrive safely at the excursion meeting points. I wish I could have enjoyed the hotel a bit more, but the time I spent there was very relaxing and enjoyable. A big thanks from me to you for taking care of me 😊

A beautiful, serene space in the middle of the Medina and a great escape when you need some time to relax from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Nice Riad located in the Medina, walking distance to the main attractions, suk and the Jamal square. All the guys running the riad are very nice and they make you feel at home. The room was a bit tiny but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast vary every day and it is served on the nice terrace of the riad. As all the riads are it can be a little noisy in the morning when people wake up and start breakfast. But not a big deal. All in all it’s a nice place to stay with a good value for money.

The Riad was beautiful, very well maintained and clean. Our twin room was beautiful, comfortable and had enough space for 2 people. The bathroom was good and had all needed amenities. We were welcomed like at home by Said and Mohammed, always super available. Big plus to the fresh and good breakfast in the morning. Really recommended to stay in Marrakesh.

Very welcoming and attentive staff that know who you are and treat you as if you're family. Good breakfast. Excellent location for spending time in the Medina, we could walk to everywhere we wanted from here. Visually aesthetic common areas and rooms. We were surprised how quiet it got once stepping inside the riad; it truly feels like an oasis and retreat when spending all day in the busy Medina.

The staff, especially Said and Marwan, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They treated us like family, which made the experience particularly special. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, traditional, and spacious. The location was excellent, with a very charming courtyard and rooftop. Although the place is not accessible by car and requires a bit of walking, the staff helped with the luggage and arranged transport to the taxi. Overall, a great experience!

The hotel was a gem in the middle of the medina, wonderfully peaceful as soon as we stepped in the front door with the bustling streets just meters away. The rooms and deco were stunning both inside and out, I’ve never seen such a beautiful bathroom! The food was exceptional. Breakfast everyday was fresh, homemade and very very tasty! We also ate dinner at the hotel one evening which was also amazing. The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us during our stay, even offering to walk to the local pharmacy for us whilst we were getting ready for our dinner reservation.

Astra Damus is a gorgeous riad-style hotel with 7 rooms. We occupied 2 rooms as a family of 4. The staff were happy to switch the first-floor room from a twin to a double at our request. The ground floor might be noisy for light sleepers as reception is in the same courtyard. The location was very central in the medina but down an alley meaning it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was lovely with seating, loungers and a hot tub. Breakfast was served there every morning, made to order. We were offered omelettes, pastries and breads with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and Moroccan tea. The hotel cat had recently had kittens and we loved watching their antics in the mornings. The best part of the stay was the hospitality, which was superb. The staff team were so helpful and friendly, helping us with restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings and essentially treating us like family. We would highly recommend staying here.

The staff were so friendly. They made us feel right at home and were so helpful and kind. They even surprised me with a birthday cake which was so special and kind. They really went out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the terrace was so lovely. We had a great time and would 100% recommend to stay there.

We had an amazing time in Marrakech and at Astra Damus. It’s so beautiful, clean and the location is perfect, but the best part is the incredible service and hospitality. Marouane and Säid were so friendly and welcoming and really did everything they could to make our stay perfect. They helped us book taxis, excursions, entrance tickets and they also served a wonderful breakfast every day. We will definitely come back.

This is a lovely Riad located in old Medina. The room was spotless and met our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite its central location, the room was quiet and the roof terrace was great for enjoying breakfast or relaxing in the evening.

Mohammed and his team made us so welcome. We were met from our taxi. We were welcomed with mint tea and nothing was too much trouble. The staff at Astra Damus were obviously so happy. It was a lovely environment to be part of. Hospitality was wonderful
