Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe liked everything. I would say to be mindful that the Riad is a 20-25 minute walk to the main square. We love to explore and walk so this was great for us. It is also in the Medina, which is very cultural (we were initially cautious of our surroundings, but this was to do with our own inhibitions and not the area). It is a very happy, safe environment. I would absolutely recommend this Riad and stay again.
The communication from Franck prior to and during the stay was exceptional. The Riad is in the Medina and is absolutely beautiful. Everything from the decor to the power of the shower was amazing. Ghalia, the lady that cooked and looked after us was humble and efficient - a lovely lady. She would cook and arrange breakfast in the dining room at a time that suited us. The rooms are a good size and beds are very comfortable. We absolutely loved the opportunity to spend an evening and afternoon on the roof terrace. Highly recommend this Riad.

The Riad is close to the Centre. It was clean and comfortable. Natalie was an excellent host she helps with ensuring we are well taken care off. Suggested things we can do and always available for anything you need. Ghalia is also brilliant she does our breakfast every morning and ensures our room our clean everyday.

ItalyNothing, every was just perfect.
The Riad is fabulous, from the interior design to the location. We rented the entire structure for 9 people and we have all been amazed by the space and the attention to details. Breakfast was delicious and abundant! And the cherry on the top of the cake is the lovely rooftop/balcony! If you are looking for an oasis of peace in Marrakech, you should choose Riad Julilu.

United KingdomNothing to dislike - only that our visit was too short!
The Riad is so beautiful. Owners Nathalie and Franck helped plan out our itinerary before we travelled and this worked out perfectly. I would urge anyone who stays to take up their offer of help and invaluable advice and then to plan ahead. We never once needed a travel agent. Everything suggested by them is genuine and there were no upfront costs or hidden costs. Breakfast was cooked by Ghalia who arrived each morning. Local fresh and/or home cooked foods and ample for all of us. Absolutely wonderful food, a selection of fresh breads and fruits, fresh orange juice, coffee and of course mint tea. The five double bedrooms are beautifull and immaculately clean, each with their own toilet and shower, plenty of fresh towels and bedding. After we left each morning Ghalia would clean the rooms. The living area is huge with the most beautiful dining table off to the side and on the roof top a gorgeous open space. All the tourist areas are in walking distance - expect 15-20 mins. We can't thank you both enough for making our trip so memorable, full of adventure and one we will never forget.

AustraliaExpectations and directions on arrival could have been better. We were dropped off by taxi at the beginning of a very busy, small, roughly cobbled market laneway and told to walk down, take 2nd left etc. etc...., it is relatively close but we needed the help of the local kids to find it and the Riad didn't have a name plate outside. Saying that, if you use the Riad's taxi contact they will take you to the door.
Roof terrace was lovely, even in the cooler weather and the breakfasts were great. Ghalia was very accommodating and helped us with queries etc. Location was great being on the edge of the Medina and in a quiet area though it was a bit of a trek to the centre.

IrelandBed was uncomfortable (still slept like a baby though) and did not feel safe in the area when it was dark - so it’s not ideal if you’re hoping to be out late
Looked exactly like the pictures - was nervous putting all my trust in Natalie but I was glad I did when I got to Marrakesh and had a taxi to jump straight in to that brought me straight to the front door! Ghalia was fantastic too she was so lovely and helpful in the mornings (we couldn’t find any food we liked in Marrakesh so we were living for Ghalia’s breakfasts!). There were originally 10 of us but this number dropped to 5 after the earthquake and it was still fantastic - each room was an en-suite too! Worth noting though, that there’s no privacy in the bathrooms, so I was glad I ended up not having to share a room! Some of the rooms had no windows that had views of the outside, and one of the rooms was actually separate from the house and was up on the roof! We had an amazing time here, we felt so safe in this house. I wouldn’t advise going outside around the area at night time just because we did not feel safe when out of the house at dark, but if you’re not planning on going out until late hours this is the perfect place for you! Each room had its own air conditioning and there was a pool downstairs so we all managed to stay cool during the warm weather.

South AfricaThe Location bathroom situation Breakfast
Stayed here for 3 nights on our recent trip to Marrakech , The Raid itself was comfortable , and was great to have the entire place to our group of 8 ..the raid is beautifully furnished and decorated , the "pool" however is tiny , more the size of a koi pond :) Location was not in a great neighbourhood , although easily accessible , at night there were lots of fights that young gentlemen were having on the outside and broken bottles etc , the main street that you join when coming out of the side street that the Riad is on is also very dirty and loud ..I would suggest staying on a street in bit further in the medina. Bathrooms on the upstairs , drainage was an issue , water pooled at your feet when showering , we brought this to the attention of the staff on the first day there but they said it was a structural problem and could not be fixed during our stay. Breakfast was basic , no fresh orange juice that we were looking forward to after seeing the juicer in the kitchen :) and unlike the other Riads we stayed in, the bread etc was bought from the market and not made in house and not the best quality. Staff were friendly and accomodated us with an early breakfast on our first day due to the tour we were taking. Riad owner provided lots of helpful advice , ( we used Mohamed the tour guide and Yunus the taxi driver ..both provided excellent service ) however simple requests like storing our baggage for one night prior to us arriving and a few hours post checking out could not be accommodated , resulting in us having to pay extra to other service providers to keep our luggage. I would suggest the owner transform the room under the stairs with the closet toilet to a luggage room instead as a toilet in a closet is pointless :)

MoroccoThis place is AMAZING. Whomever decorated it put a lot of love into every little detail, making it very special and beautiful. It was the perfect place for me and my group of 9 to stay. Everyone had their own beautiful room and separate bathroom. The common areas of living, dining and the fantastic terrace made our stay so lovely and comfortable. We hardly wanted to leave because we were enjoying the beauty of this Riad so much! The breakfast was amazing, made just for us, at whatever time we requested. Highly, highly recommend.

The riad is very beautiful as seen in the photos. It really feels like home. The housekeeper, Zakia, is very accommodating and nice. the owner, Nathalie, she is very helpful with everything. She is very responsive. All in all, its a 10/10. The people around is very nice too.

United Kingdom- cockroach in kitcheng even after reporting and treatment was done -bedding was not changed. Rather, beds just made up in the 8 days we stayed there -no doors for toilet/shower just a division wall- lack of privacy when you're sharing a room in my opinion - no daily bottled water provided as with other riads/hotels I've stayed at. 6 bottles were provided at the beginning only. When asked about this was told the bottled water provided was to brush teeth only, very strange -no daily fresh towels provided u less it was necessary to change. If it was wet, it was not changed unless it had dirton it -pool on the ground floor of riad so the water was cold. Would have made better use of pool if it was on the terrace. -was quoted €50 for to and from airport but was asked for €75 (€25 extra) at the end because they held our luggage which is daylight robbery when the airport is maximum only 20 minutes drive from riad. Most places hold your luggage for free. I guess it's what ever they can make out of you. Wouldn't return here again. I ended up paying the €50 as agreed with the driver and Nathalie cursing me for not paying the €75. Not very professional, ruined the otherwise good trip to Marrakech.
-The riad was as shown in pictures. -Nathalie was very prompt with her replies. -Ghalia made us breakfast in the mornings at the time we requested. -We could use the kitchen to make our own food if need be. -there was a pool although not a heated one - Air-conditioning in every room
