The Breakfasts each morning have been simply great!! Couldn't ask for better options really, everything tasted divine and the view on the ocean while eating was astonishing. My room was clean and the bed really comfortable A special mention to the owner who is such a lovely and helpful person!!

Appt. price is higher than in other medinas in Morocco.

Essaouira has a beautiful and authentic medina. Spending two nights was just getting a bit of taste. Riad Kafila, appt.nr.1 has a window facing the ocean. You may watch the late summer sunset (on the left), or night stars, or a hazy morning. The breakfast room on the rooftop offers more views and a classic breakfast. Outside the sleeping time, we spent the days in city. Harbour, city walls, restaurants, shops, people, YES, Esaouira is fabulous

There were a few flies up in the breakfast room by the windows but they didn’t attack our breakfast which was fine.

Very clean and comfortable, the breakfast and views were so lovely. Room was cleaned daily and the atmosphere was very calming within the hotel. Nice and quiet, no noise but the noise of the ocean’s waves was tranquil. Hamzah and staff were 10/10, hospitality was top notch and I’m pleased I stayed there.

Where do I begin? Walking into our room was such a happy experience - the room was EXACTLY as it was shown in the photographs; great size, with a couch and additional twin bed. The view from our room's window was an 11 out of 10 - with birds breezing by and the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks. The covered rooftop where we ate our delicious breakfast was the cherry on top. Quiet, cozy and the BEST views of th coast. Our hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, and made our experience one that we'd want to repeat. We would recommend Riad Kafila without hesitation.

Our room had big windows and a view of the ocean. It was the perfect place to have an afternoon tea and enjoy the view. The design of the room was also lovely. Minimal but warm and well executed. Breakfast was upstairs, also overlooking the ocean and was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful but also gave you your space which I appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this to property to anyone!

Staff were perfect, helped us park and find a good restaurant. The rooms are beautiful, large and comfortable. Perfect spot, close to the waterfront with a beautiful terrace above the entire Medina of Essaouira

Everything is amazing ! The hotel located near the ocean , you can watch sunset or just waves... Also breakfast perfectly nice ! You can reach there from bus station 10 or 12 minutes on foot.

A little pricy for the value, for the room we had. Could be equipped with more toilet treats for the price… And drying rack for towels who gets very humid…

Only downside was the walk on foot to get to the riad , as it wasn’t accessible by car .while it was only 10 minutes , walking on cobblestone with the luggage was a bit tricky . But totally doable and worth it don’t let it stop you from booking

Being able to go to sleep with the stunning views and sounds of the ocean was priceless. Riad Kafila is clean, with a friendly staff and in a quiet location but within a minute of all of shops/market/souk. Simple Moroccan breakfast served on the terrace or top floor was lovely. 12 minute walk from where bus from Marrakesh drops you off, less than 10 mins to the beach.

Wonderful stay in the Riad Kafila, very clean, perfect location, magnificent breakfast on the terrace with a view on the Atlantic Ocean. Also our room had a view on the Atlantic Ocean, it was incredible! The staff is very helpful, however, make sure to take quick showers if you are more than 2 people in the room. The hot water boiler does not heat a lot of water, might be tricky, but not impossible:)

I wish it had been better explained how to get to the riad on the arrival.

Riad Kafila is located in Medina and though it was hard to find it at first, Abdil came out to meet us just at the Bab Sbaa entrance and took us to the riad helping out with the luggage. Our room with the ocean view was wonderful as well as the whole authentic interior of the riad, to say nothing of the rooftop with the dining room and the open terrace. Breakfasts were so delicious, nutritious, beautifully served, finger-licking good!!! 100 points for breakfasts, the views, service and hospitality! We didn't want to leave! We're happy to have booked Riad Kafila! We do recommend it to the visitors of Essaouira! Many thanks to Abdil and the staff!
