Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We would definitely recommend Riad Kiyanjana if staying in Marrakesh. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent location being just a 20 minute walk to the centre. A good part of the city, with restaurants and cafes very near by. Very well presented rooms. Tucked away in a side street and very quiet at night. Security and facilities very good.

The position Is perfect for visiting the whole city as the main attractions are perfectly in walking distance: medina is 5 minutes away, Jardin majorelle are 20 minutes, Place Jamaa El fna in 15 minutes. Furthermore, the Riad is reachable by car which Is not so common in Marrakech. The staff is really helpful, they called the taxi for us both for the way to the Riad and to the airport.Last but not least they make great breakfasts.

United KingdomOur room was on the ground floor so sometimes was a little bit noisy due to the other guests staying in the riad but other than that, everything was fine!
When we arrived, we were greeted with some mint tea which I thought was really nice. Our room was ready when we arrived, even though check in wasn’t officially till 3pm. The location of the property was very central and was within walking distance of the square, the souks and other attractions. This was my first time in Marrakesh and I could not have picked a better place to stay which was nice, clean and the staff being so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included and we had a different variety of a selection everyday we had breakfast which was very nice too. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent location for easy access to the medina and pick up for excursions. Kind & generous owner who took good care of us. Loved the rooftop garden.

United KingdomOnly problem we had was the shower. It was huge, clean, attractive etc but we both really struggled to get a constant temperature - fluctuating between far too hot and cold.
Nicely located within the old town of Marrakech. The staff were really helpful and there is a sun terrace on the top floor to relax when you tire of the pace of the city.

ItalyVery nice riad, the host was very helpful and kind. The only bad thing was that we were in the room on the ground floor and there was some noise at times, but otherwise everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The riad was in a very good location, you could easily reach everything.

RomaniaA nice place to stay in Marrakesh, in old medina, close to the main market. The minus is the bed, is not too comfy and as well the breakfast table which was 30 cm away from our door entrance

SpainOne minor issue was that we didn’t have hot water for about an hour on our last day, but they resolved it immediately. Their apologies were sincere, and they even offered a small compensation for the inconvenience, which we truly appreciated
I traveled to Marrakech with a friend, looking for an authentic experience, and staying at this beautiful Riad provided exactly that. The entrance can be a bit confusing, but once inside, it feels like stepping into a hidden, harmonious retreat—cozy and welcoming. Our room met our expectations; everything was clean, and we received daily housekeeping and bed-making service. Although the towels weren’t changed daily, we managed just fine. The staff was very helpful and even arranged a taxi for us on our last day, as we had an early morning flight. The breakfast was perfect, a great way to start the day. Overall, I highly recommend this Riad—it made our stay in Marrakech truly special. It has a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast on sunny days. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting.

United KingdomThe breakfasts were delicious, but maybe some fruits would be a nice addition.
As-salamu alaykum!! We had an excellent trip to Marrakesh and staying at Riad Kiyanjana felt like a home away from home. Greeted with the mint tea and biscuits made us feel immediately welcome and we even had a hammam and massage in their spa room upstairs. Our room was lovely and decorated with care. The location was perfect- tucked in side streets away from the hustle and bustle but just 1 minute walk to get you to the beginning of the amazing souks. Fully recommend.

PolandThe rooms are cleaned every day. The beds are really comfortable, there are multiple pillows, blankets, quilts, so it won't be too hot or too cold at night. The atmosphere is nice, the rooms are cozy. There is also a space outside where you can sit and relax. There is always someone in the riad and everyone is very helpful. We were welcomed with a coffee and got our room almost immediately when we arrived at around 12! The riad is close to many sites, walking distance from anywhere. Around 1 km from the airport bus. Thank you for a nice stay!

I liked family atmosphere. It was quiet, close to the main street which was convienent when you needed transport for the trip. It is at the same time close to souks and in a good area of medina.

The Riad it's near the center (Jemaa el-Fna- 15min walking) but is not in the middle of the medina confusion. Very nice and lovelly Riad.

This riad is perfect if you want to experience the medina and the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Within easy walking distance of everything ( once you get your bearings). Very clean rooms, comfortable and staff cannot do enough for you. We took some gin from duty free and sat on the rooftop terrace in the sun. It was just perfect. Nice breakfast too. Situated in a little quiet alley, you wouldn't know it was there. Riad organised airport transfers which were spot on!

We absolutely loved our stay, Mana, Wafa, and Abdul were not only the best hosts, but even better cooks, planners, and just overall great people. They had the best variety of breakfast every morning and catered to literally every single one of our needs. They frequently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and see if we needed anything. We got massages multiple times booked through the riad and had dinner so many times 1 because it was cheaper than eating out, and 2 because the food was far better than most places we ate. The portions were generous and the price was low. They brung us tea, cookies, and even took care of us when we got a cold by making us tea. We will be back to Morocco and when we do, we’ll be staying here again. We can’t thank you enough for hospitality. Thank you again!!

United KingdomThe WiFi was very hit and miss, with it being quite weak in the top room and outdoor area. Also the shower took a long time to warm up and didn’t have a very strong flow.
Riad Kiyanjana is an amazing place to stay! The staff there are extremely friendly, with nothing being too much to ask, such as making us coffees whilst relaxing. Abdoul also made our stay even better with his friendliness and attentiveness. The breakfast which was included was great and the riad itself was very relaxing and well decorated, there was even a cat that visited the top outdoor area. I would definitely stay here again.
