Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe shower in both rooms spilled into the room and there was nothing to mop it or a blade. There was nowhere to hang clothes, in one room not even shelves.. no sound proofing because of the thin doors and extremely noisy door latches so anytime someone comes or goes it echos and wakes everyone. No toiletries in the shower.
The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. It was very clean and felt safe. The breakfast was amazing. The location was good, just outside the main tourist area and good food options around. Easy to walk to all the sites from here.

United KingdomHad a very nice experience. Away from all the hustle of the markes, there is this gem. It was my first time staying at a Riad, to my surprise, it was the most amazing experience. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and did not want to leave. There is a sense of peace that makes the Riad feel like a home. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety with an extra touch of fresh orange juice. Thank u to Aimid and Tarik. Will definitely come back soon. Cosy and special with lots of character.

RomaniaWe have nothing to complain about!
I recently stayed at Riad RS & SPA in Marrakech with my sister, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The riad was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a serene escape from the bustling streets of Marrakech. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding team, especially Karim, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Their hospitality was unmatched—they were always attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our trip memorable. The attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made this stay unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Riad RS & SPA to anyone visiting Marrakech. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. My sister and I will definitely be back!

Authentic accommodation situated in the old medina so central location with lovely restaurants within 5-10 min walk. United KingdomWe really enjoyed our stay at Riad KS & SPA. Karim was extremely attentive and the perfect host. Our breakfast every morning was delicicious and the rooftop terrace is lovely, along with the pool in the courtyard area, which we took full advantage of after long walks in the Medina. The location is quite hidden away, so very quiet, yet the Riad is only a few minutes' walk from the souks. Karim kindly liased with our taxi driver on arrival, and was able to collect us from a nearby square and walk us the the Riad. He also organised a taxi to the airport on our departure. To top it off we had a great 'couples' Hammam and massage at a nearby Spa which Karim arranged for us. All in all a great experience, we'd love to come back.

NetherlandsThere was some confusion about me and my friend. Strange rule about a Morrocain and foreigner can not stay in the same room. Had to change to a bigger room with two separate bedrooms.
The building is amazing, recently opened, and the interior looks so beautiful. There is a small pool inside the walled courtyard. I wasn't sure if it was intended for use or decoration, but it was a very nice touch. The finishing of the interior walls in the building are an eye catcher, extremely smooth. The morrocain breakfast is very nice and served on the rooftop. The riad is in the beginning of the medina, everything close by. I only stayed one day, but it would be perfect for a few days more.

United StatesNeed more storage, hanging, shelving, nightstands; better lighting for bedside rather than the overhead lights. Everything needs to be hung at a lower height.
We were welcomed to the riad by Aimed the manager, an outgoing, English speaking 'people person'...mint tea and cookies near the pool. The pool is the central feature of the riad and has a 'waterfall' that can be turned on or off. It was pretty great to sit near the pool, dunking feet or full immersion and socialize with the other guests. We were given a key to the exterior door, to come and go as we pleased...liked this and it hadn't happened before. The riad has been recently renovated and the new tile work in the bathroom was really pretty; unfortunately our shower leaked some into the main part of the bathroom. Also the robe hooks in the bathroom as well as the shower head, were mounted for someone 10 feet tall. They are pretty unusable for a normal 5'5" adult female. Towels were nice, big, and fluffy as were the robes. One time the towels were removed for washing and weren't returned. Aimed to the rescue! Breakfast was served in the rooftop terrace, which was cool in the morning with lovely breezes. Breakfast fare is similar everywhere but food was abundant and preferences honored. Marrakech medina is pretty safe to walk, just be careful of the crazy motorbike traffic in the narrow lanes. The riad is convenient to shopping in the medina, is a medium walk to Jemaa Square and a long walk to the world famous Mamounia Hotel complex. Aimed showed us the landmark to our place so we wouldn't get lost and we never did. There are really good restaurants within easy walking; also an excellent place for a superior facial (they do hammams too) literally around the corner and gave us 15% off services because we were staying at this riad. The riad is still a work in progress; the elements are there and they are working to smooth out the kinks. The vacant lot across the street has been purchased and a new building will be going in. It did not present any safety problem and we literally had zero problem. We had an excellent stay.

United KingdomThe owner and staff were absolutely lovely. The owner met me when the taxi arrived and took me to the Riad - it's through the small streets so I didn't have to navigate the streets myself. He was super friendly and so keen to help in anyway possible. When I arrived I was served tea and biscuits, and he gave me some advice for the city. As a solo female traveller this made me feel much more at ease. It was the small things that made my stay even better. He told me if there was anything I wanted from the souks I should ask him the actual price so that I won't be overcharged, and he gave me some recommendations for my stay. I had some activities booked through a tour company and I was having trouble getting hold of one of the tour guides, he even took this issue off my hands and found out the missing details for me while I went and explored the city. The staff at the Riad always greeted me with a smile and asked how my day was, they were so friendly and accommodating, I felt so safe and comfortable there. The Riad itself is in a fantastic position, it is around a 10 minute walk to the souks and only a 15 minute drive from the airport, but you do not hear any of this, at nighttime it is silent and peaceful. I really enjoyed my stay there. There was air conditioning, WIFI, transport to and from the airport and I had breakfast on the roof each day - which is a really wonderful way to start any day. I absolutely recommend this as a place to stay, especially if you want somewhere small, intimate and away from large groups of tourists.

PortugalWe have nothing to complain about.
When we arrived, Aimad told us we should see the Riad as our home during our stay in Marrakech. After a couple of excursions into the Medina, coming back to the Riad to recharge our batteries truly felt like being home. The Riad staff were extremely kind and always provided excellent help and answer all of our questions. We really took advantage of the shared areas: the pool, the living room and the solarium. I found the rustic and clean decor of the Riad really appealing. Air conditioning worked perfectly. They gave us a full and varied breakfast. All in all, we loved it and will come back.
