I liked everything

Fantastic place, both the space and the people. The Riad is very intimate which is perfect if you want to actually talk to local people and limit your exposure to too many tourists, and retreat in a place of serenity away from the sounds of the Medina. Very tasteful place, and it’s clear that it is cared for. The breakfast of Hamina is fantastic, I was looking forward to it every morning. It will be my go-to place for Marrakech.

The property wasn't easy to find and the immediate area seemed a bit sketchy. I didn't feel comfortable coming and going by myself.

Hospitality was truly excellent. Upon arrival, which was early, staff immediately served mint tea and a snack and hauled luggage to the room which was up a floor. Day manager arranged a special tour of the Medina with Mubarak, who was extraordinary. Night manager handled all requests. She was still there at checkout the next morning and personally took me and luggage to a taxi several blocks away. This remarkable young woman was completing her undergraduate degree in physics while working overnight. Included breakfast was ample and tasty.

Air-con just about took the edge off but any hotter and not sure it would have been strong enough.......

Zachary and his team were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location was fantastic. Breakfast was good. Although in the heart of the Medina, it was very quiet, I loved our stay here.

Everything was great

The Riad was at the heart of the Medina but still in a calm and quiet street. Zakaria, Yasmine and Mariam were all incredibly kind and accommodating and the rooms were equipped with everything needed. I will definitely be back here for my next trip to Marrakech.

Beautiful little Riad with a great location. A short walk from the main square but in a very quiet area. Very friendly and accommodating staff, I had some great chats with the manager at the front desk. They even prepared a to-go breakfast for me since I had to leave early for my desert tour. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Slightly small room wise

Lovely small riad in the heart of the city. Very friendly staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was small but perfect for one solo traveller. Clean and lovely breakfast served on the terrace. I’d go again

A few steep stairs, so be aware if you have huge luggage.

Lovely small Riad a few steps away from the square. Very calm, quiet and peaceful. The room was tiny but cosy, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast on the rooftop. I also took a massage which was super relaxing. I would definitely recommend to stay in Riad la Cigale.

This quaint little riad really exceeded my expectations. It was s pretty and peaceful despite being so close to the chaotic medina. My single room was still very spacious and had everything I needed. And a special mention for the staff who went out their way to help me on my last day when I became unwell. I highly recommend La Cigale.

The riad is located in the middle of the medina, so you can reach everything within minutes. The staff is super friendly and funny. Our room was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again. 😊

It was just unusual that we didn`t get a key, so every time after 10 we had to text someone to open the main door. Otherwise it was all good.

The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and the whole riad experience was unique. Also the staff always tried to adjust to our schedule when we needed breakfast or something.

The most beautiful riad! Incredibly comfortable bed, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing. We were greeted on arrival with tea and water and a help sheet about Marrakech which was excellent for those visiting for their first time. Brilliantly located although do not follow Google maps to find the riad! Follow the instructions! (We absolutely got lost). Staff were incredible and so helpful. We can thank Yasmon enough for all her help!

Just as little noisy when other guests come home at night - only noticed because I go To bed super early!

The staff is amazing, the bed super comfortable, and all facilities were clean. The terrace is gorgeous! A little peaceful oasis. It’s a bit tricky to find the entrance the first time - if a staff offers assistance, take it! No issues after that first time.

Everything was fine.

What I appreciated most during my stay at Riad La Cigale was the dedicated staff—Nael, Yassmine, and Roqaya. Their incredibly warm and friendly hospitality was truly remarkable, going out of their way to ensure my comfort. The Riad itself is a true gem: it is very clean, quiet, and ideally located in the vibrant heart of the Medina. Each morning brought a fantastic breakfast that added to the experience. I highly recommend this riad for an authentic stay in Marrakech.

Beautiful stay, room clean and stuff friendly and professional. Breakfast on the rooftop was soo nice and we got all the tips and suggestions of Nael when we arrived!

Great location, staff friendly and helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. Met at the airport on time and taken to the Medina, then walked across the square by a member of staff to the Riad. If you've not been to Marrakech before I'd recommend being met until you can get your bearings. It cost 20euro roughly double the price of a taxi (100 diram) but worth it. Breakfast was lovely and served with a smile. Room was ideal, comfortable, clean and tidied daily. May have been nice to have the option of a hot drink either kettle in room or basic drinks menu in communal areas. On arrival gave good advice and tips about the local area. No issues on check in or check out. Really appreciated being able to store our luggage at the accommodation on day of departure while waiting for an evening flight. Made to feel welcome throughout our stay.

Lovely welcome, incredibly helpful owner and all staff. Great location ,right in the middle of the old town.Helped sort out all our trips.. Great bed, great shower. Varied and authentic.Breakfast.
