Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe shower was very hit and miss. Jumped from freezing cold to really hot or just tepid dribble. Quite a lot of sound coming from the square music wise. But to be fair that’s what we wanted. Literally 1 minutes walk from Jemma El Fnaa square.
Can’t fault Houssam, Omar or the ladies that prepared breakfast. They were the nicest most helpful people.

United KingdomIt is near the main square and drumming continued until after midnight so it was difficult to sleep. Breakfast was very carb heavy. Some fruit would be nice...an orange or an apple? I wanted to relax on the roof but it was being renovated so it was not possible to sit there and there was no warning of this.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I could leave my bags there safely during the day. Room was comfortable. Shower was good.

NetherlandsCommunication via email could be better. The WiFi was poor and was only usable at specific times. The next part is not related to the hotel but rather to the transfer service. The arrival was quite stressful - we stood in line for passport control for 5.5 hours. The driver didn’t wait for us that long (which is logical) and asked us to contact him when we are done. However, when we were done with passport control, we couldn’t reach him nor the riad by phone. Eventually, we took a taxi, and once we found the riad, there were no further issues.
Friendly staff who took care of us - we got something to eat even though the kitchen was already closed. Breakfast was a great start to the day. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the interior is lovely. The riad also organized the transfer from the airport, including baggage transport on the pedestrian part of the route.

AustraliaSome staff didn’t really seem to know what was happening so for example when we checked in it was all a bit confusing. They were nice enough though and it wasn’t enough to impact the stay. Unfortunately the roof terrace was out of order as there were renovations next door.
The room was clean and nicely presented. The highlight was Ahmed who was an absolute asset to the riad helping us wherever and whenever needed.

United KingdomThe bedroom floor was quite dusty and we stayed 3 nights and there was no cleaning done. Despite being advertised as such, there was no rooftop area with recliners. We assume as it was starting to be out of season they were renovating the room on the same floor as ours and so the roof top areas were full of building materials instead. Also the card machine wasn't working, so we were asked to pay for the accomadation in.cash, the day after we arrived.
Very friendly and amenable staff and the hotel location is close to the main square but far away enough to be quiet. We had a pretty room on the top floor of the house with a little table and chairs to sit outside. The room.had good air conditioning. There was also a nice traditional breakfast included.

United KingdomStupidly massive key ring. Maybe on purpose so people don't take the key with them. Hotel is beautiful but in my opinion rooms and dining space are too small. Bathroom is actually ok.

My room was really pretty and the bed was comfy. Good light for reading. The big square is nearby so I could hear all the sounds and even watch the hullabaloo from the rooftop.

GreeceThe room was a bit small. Being next to the square, prices were a little higher. If you walk a little further you can find better prices, mostly in quiet neighbourhoods
Helpful and friendly staff. Next to the Jamaa al Fna square, great view from the terrace. Beautiful and clean room with nice decorative items.

United StatesI booked online and because I didn’t have Euros to pay in person, I had to go to an ATM to withdraw cash. Since ATMs don’t give small bills, I wasn’t able to tip until the next day, which I think was a faux pas. One of the staff members was much friendlier when I tipped on my way out the next day, but until then, I don’t think she liked me very much. Everyone else I met was super friendly though. Breakfast was good but not what I’d expect for what I paid for the room, just bread and pastries. I had a better breakfast experience at a couple of places where I paid half the price (in other cities) where the rooms were not as nice.
I love how close it is to everything! I booked at the last minute, and the staff was very accommodating regarding the situation. The room itself was beautiful and very comfortable. I only stayed for one night, but it was a good experience overall. When I asked about massage/hammam, Mohamed was kind enough to take me there so I didn’t get lost since it was later in the day. He also spoke a surprising amount of English, whereas I had the opportunity to practice my French more with some of the other staff members.
