Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe Riad was lovely and so traditional. We had a full cooked breakfast on the roof terrace which was really good. The location was ideal and only a short walk into the centre. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

United KingdomThe A/C would regularly be turned off after going out for the day, and during 35-40 degree Celsius temperatures, it meant the rooms would really heat up, especially the bathroom which had no A/C unit. We did not ask them to leave the A/C on however… so it could be our mistake in not asking if the A/C could be left on during the day, so they may accommodate this, but just some generic feedback in general!
Great location, very flexible and accommodating staff, clean and peaceful once inside to escape the chaos of the streets of Marrakech. The breakfast was lovely and served up on the roof terrace at your leisure between a generous timeframe, however they can accommodate should you need an earlier or later breakfast! Staff are friendly and welcoming, and flexible. We were very kindly given our room until later in the day, meaning we could freshen up and shower before our evening flight home. This is obviously subject to availability, however the fact it was offered without the usual money grabbing techniques most hotels employ, was a very kind personal touch.

United KingdomThe breakfast was delicious and changed every day. Would have been nice to know what was being served as not all eaten and some unnecessary waste.
Riad les Rêves d'Amélie was a perfect stay. Great roof terrace overlooking the mosque. Close to many tourist spots with excellent eateries nearby. Meryam couldn't have been more helpful.

CroatiaTo keep in mind the immediate proximity of the minaret. Since the sound isolation is not good light sleepers could use ear plugs ( first call for prayers is at 05:00 am ). Mrs Miriam was very easy to communicate with on wup, but it would be better to have someone who speaks English on site. The lovely lady who was there speaks only French and Arabian.
Excellent position in Kasbah district (clean, calm and close to everything). Accessible by car/taxi. Would recommend for families. Very good breakfast on the beautiful rooftop terrace.

SloveniaThe riad is just like in the photos, beautiful, decorated to the last detail, impeccably clean and fragrant. There is air conditioning in the room but in the middle of February we had no need for heating! The terrace for breakfast and rest or lying in the sun is very beautiful, with a view of the mosque tower. The breakfast is truly excellent! The staff is extremely helpful, always available and helps with everything a traveler needs on their trip. You can choose several routes to the city center, the one lit up in the evening and full of locals across the street or the narrower paths full of craft shops. The riad is located directly next to the most important sights, which you can see in the late afternoon and right next to the taxi stop for tours, e.g. Jardin Majorelle. The mosque on the other side of the square is very loud, not even earplugs help, there is an early morning wake-up call, which amused us a lot.

FinlandThe room was a bit cold and moist as the AC didn't work in heating mode. All in all the room was very basic, without a TV and proper noise blocking wall between the bathroom and sleeping area.
The location is great being well reachable by car (both our tour pick-ups were just 100 metres away) and walking distance from the souqs but still the area is rather quiet. Also the staff is very nice, although English language is not among their strengths. The riad manager speaks great English, though, and was very helpful (and reachable over WhatsApp) with all the questions we had.

It was a great experience staying in Riyad Les Reves d’Amilie. It was right next to the market and tourist spots. Most of the places were 5-20 min walk. I loved the included breakfast every morning. The Riad was clean and room service was provided everyday. We were looking for air conditioned rooms and it was helpful to have ACs.

MoroccoThe Riad is located in a central location, at a walking distance from badi and Bahia palace, and not too far from the medina, it has a very nice terrace overlooking a small square, perfect for sipping a glass of Moroccan tea in the evenings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend it and will be returning when we visit Marrakech again.

PhilippinesWe occupied 2 rooms across each other on the second floor. The room for 4 had a good layout and its bathroom had a door. The bathroom of the room for 2 had no door and it had a really bad smell coming from the drain. At times the stink was so bad we had to open all the windows (the room had airconditioning). This seems to be common in the Riads we stayed at in Morocco, but the problem was particularly bad here during our stay. Maybe a door between the bathroom and room would help. Also, a big discomfort for us, though probably not for others, was that the breakfast table on the rooftop terrace had no roof cover, so we were hurrying to finish the meal to get out of the sun. Still, we would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.
It was located very near the Saadian Tombs and you don't have to walk through a maze to get there as it was in front of a plaza and the van can stop right in front of it. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the bathrooms had a lot of shelves, which was very helpful. Mr. Rachid was very nice and friendly, and the rooms were very clean.
