Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly one little thing - the directions normally take you a long way round the streets - however, this is more to do with Google Maps!
Fantastic Riad with a nice little roof top pool right in the centre of Rabat Madina - we loved it & would highly recommend. Staff great, breakfast great.

United KingdomThe only thing I would say is that the pool at the top of the Riad was not very clean. Water was quite murky. But that’s probably from the dust floating around the medina.
Beautiful property. Had the most amazing decor that was very authentic. It was clean to an excellent standard. Our room was cleaned daily with clean fluffy towels and clean bedding. Beds were comfy and had lovely pillows. The Riad is in a great location right in the middle of the medina.

Spain- It’s located in the center of the Medina, so this means all streets around are only pedestrian and it’s quite hard to find (the location on Google Maps is not accurate). Keep this in mind if coming by taxi. - Being in the Medina with mosques around, you will hear the prayer call very loudly (the first one being at 4:30 am in our case). - It’s not wheelchair / baby stroller accessible, plenty of stairs. - In our room, the shower had no curtain or any type of divider with the rest of the bathroom so everything gets wet. This was unpleasant. - Our room didn’t have air conditioned, but a couple of fans worked perfectly (we visited in May).
- The staff is very kind! We were received with tea and cookies. - Breakfast is delicious. - The rooms and the hotel are exactly like the pictures. - Walking distance to many attractions. - It is very clean.

IrelandBreakfast was very basic compared to other places I have stayed in Rabat and Casablanca. The house is located right beside a mosque and so prayers are announced a few times a day via very loud outdoor speaker, including before 7am each morning, so an early wake up is unavoidable!!
Very lovely and cute riad in the centre of the Medina, a nice and relaxing place to stay despite being so near the main market. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom and walking distance to all sights in the centre of Rabat, very kind and welcoming staff.

United KingdomIt was noisy in the morning from about 7am because you could hear all the other guests.
The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The bed was very comfy. We loved the roof terrace and the location of the Riad. The shower gels etc were of good quality. The breakfast was good and not overwhelmingly large. We loved the decor of the place and the attention to detail.

United KingdomFinding the hotel was tricky! The taxi left us on the main road as cars can not drive through the old town. We had no Internet, so finding the hotel was a bit scary. We had to walk through many alleyways and even ask locals to help us find the place as there are no signs. We also had to pay the locals for helping us 😔. The hotel room smelt damp as there were no windows.
Staying at this hotel was amazing once you found the place! The staff was very kind and attentive, and the room was lovely and clean. Ayub was extremely helpful and took care of our needs.

United KingdomThe drain smell. Apart from that it was a good stay.
The staff members were great, from both the host receptionist , to the housekeeping staff, very helpful and kind, people who made the hotel a welcoming stay. My room was lovely to stay in with my son. We had a family room which had 2 bedrooms, downstairs and a loft bedroom and a nice shower room, and TV. The pool is on the roof terrace. You have to walk through the old Rabat market in order to get to this hotel, which was an exquisite surprise. Have your sat nav ready!

ItalyThere's not shower curtain, so the bathroom get a bit wet when you shower. However, no major drama. It's a pity that the breakfast is served inside in the riad hall, and not in the rooftop. The breakfast was good, with high quality products, but a bit scarce.
I stayed only 1 night and I wish I could have stayed longer! I have loved everything! The riad is brand new, very stylish, extremely clean, big, bright and silent room (last floor), fantastic bed. Internet and air conditioning work well. Perfect location to visit Rabat, beautiful rooftop, Very kind and supportive staff. I will 100% consider to stay again in Riad Louana if in Rabat again, and I surely recommend it to everyone.

AustraliaThe bathroom was small with no shower curtain so the toilet and toilet paper would get wet with each shower. We ended up moving the toilet paper so the whole roll wouldn't get soaked. They also provided extra bathmats so we wouldn't soak the entire bathroom.
Riad had a good location within the medina- alleys were walkable and we felt very safe. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room had aircon as well as a big fan which helped cool us down. The rooftop was a nice place to hang out.

ItalyThe only problem is how noisy the riad is. Anything which happens in the building can be heard and this can be a little problematic in the evening or early morning. But that being said it was a very nice stay.
