Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI would say only issue was if your staying here as women only just be careful on the walk there at night as you have to walk through alleys but that is the same for most/all riads in marrakesh
Very pretty and the rooms comfortable and loved swimming in the pool

Perfect size to be able to privatise the place for 10-12 people. The breakfast was amazing, as well as all the meals (extra fee) that we have asked for. The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful. The place was clean and well decorated, with a lot of different spaces to hang out.

South AfricaThere was building banging next door so our peaceful morning on the terrace was sadly disturbed, but this was no fault of the Riad.
Breakfast was lovely and served in the courtyard. Host was responsive. Riad was easy to find and close to everything. Terrace was pleasant in the late evening. The staff were helpful and friendly.

United StatesBring earplugs if you're not an early riser. While the noise at the property itself isn't a problem, the local roosters and the muezzins in the nearby mosques will wake you up before sunrise without them.
Well located property and short walk from the central square. The airport pickup service is highly recommended for your arrival. It is only slightly more expensive than a taxi and is helpful for locating the property in the twisty narrow passageways of the Medina. Friendly and helpful staff that provided mint tea upon arrival and a great Moroccan breakfast. For lunch and dinner, eat like a local at the stalls in the main square or the snack bars surrounding them.

United KingdomThe riad wasn’t far from the tourists attractions, was clean and quiet. The staff were really welcoming and we fell like being at home. We were really well looked after. Mustapha welcomed us on the first night with a big smile. Our son (14) really enjoyed the roof terrace. Sunbathing on the roof terrace in January was something of a wow for him.

United KingdomThe narrow doorway to the bathroom meant that it was difficult at night to enter without hurting yourself on the frame.
Light and airy with a gorgeous terrace and plenty of space to lay and read or soak up the sun Breakfasts were standard for Marrakech. The room was comfortable with Lovely bedding.

LatviaEverything was great! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by the service, our room was great, the whole place in general is very beautiful and well decorated. Many thanks to the staff who always made sure we were comfortable and also gave us coordinates so we wouldn't get lost in the city. Breakfast was very small - coffee/tea, juice, pancakes, omelette, yogurt and fruit, but it was enough. The location is a 3-minute walk from the market. At first it was difficult to accelerate, but after that it was easy to find. I liked the roof terrace the most, where I spent every evening enjoying the beautiful view.

New ZealandIt's slightly odd that there is a high window open to the 2nd-floor balcony that other guests can technically look in, I am sure no one did but the sound travels at times and makes the room feel less private.
Great location and wonderful staff. Freshly made breakfast was really nice way to start the day. The decor is elegant and pleasing throughout, our room is spacious and clean.

United KingdomEverything about the riad was perfect, but it's quite hard to find initially. They could do with a few more signs off the main street as it's very tucked away. But that also makes it a lovely peaceful location, and we always felt safe wandering down the little alley, even after dark (two women, late twenties).
The staff here were so lovely and helpful, and they cooked us a truly delicious dinner (upon request) for our first night as we were arriving late. The roof terrace is really comfy and has beautiful plants and views of the mountains. Our room was super clean and comfortable too. The staff speak french but not much English (not a problem for us as I speak french, but the staff used Google translate to speak to my friend which was very thoughtful!)

Italythe A/C heater was a bit slow, but nothing major: we were there in December and the room was not that cold even at night.
Loved the super central but quiet location, right in the heart of the souk, their understanding of gluten free (delicious breakfast with home made gluten free flatbread upon request and fantastic tajine for dinner). The owner and all the staff are so nice and make you feel welcome.

United KingdomOur bed sheets were not changed. On the first day we were asked if we wanted them to be changed to which we declined, but on the second I noticed that mine were dirty but hadn’t been changed. This may have been due to a lack of misunderstanding. The breakfast was a little small on day 2 but overall very pleased with our stay 🩷 The lights were very confusing in our room and one didn’t work in our bedroom and one didn’t work in the bathroom. There was a slight bad smell in our bathroom.
The roof, the room was beautiful, Mohammed was wonderful, homemade varied breakfasts, quiet and relaxed. Beautifully decorated riad with a few places to relax in. There are communal books, a chess board. I would definitely recommend this riad to anyone :)
