Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomStaying at several locations in Morocco, I noticed that many en-suit rooms don't have a door to divide the bathroom and a bedroom at first it can be a bit of a new experience.
Arriving to Marrakesh is a surprising experience, especially walking through buzzing, chaotic streets of medina, but once you finally find the Riad Majwril door, you can breathe out. It's an absolutely quiet, peaceful oasis. Lovely lady offers you a tea on arrival. Breakfast is just made for you. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a swimming pool in the house and a terrace with sunlaungers. An absolute highlight of a double bedroom is a ginormous bathtub. I wish we could stay longer and really hope to return again.

United StatesI would have liked for the beds to be less stiff and pillows that were not as thin. I woke up each morning with a stiff neck and sore back, which could be remedied with walking, but I would have enjoyed not having to fold over my pillow to get proper support. Everything else was wonderful, and I felt quite safe!
I enjoyed the overall vibe of the riad. The help from Soukaina was wonderful, and she made my friends and I feel safe and comfortable for the whole journey. There was a great booklet with places to visit, where to eat, and Soukaina was able to book a hammam and a taxi whenever we needed it. The owner of the property was wonderful as well, and he was receptive in providing transport to and from the riad. The breakfast was great, a bit light, but we didn't need much (and it was included!). The riad shop was beautifully curated, and there was a wonderful scent found around the riad, which was pleasant. We didn't visit it much, but there was a beautiful terrace with full-sun, lounge chairs, and shady spots to read your book, tan, or enjoy a drink. Overall, a wonderful stay.

HungaryNothing we didn’t like. Just important to know that as the street of the Medina are narrow during the busy times of the days the cars don’t come all the way in but the drop off location is not more than 1-2mins walk.
We spent 3 nights and it was such a special start for our journey in Marrakesh. We even had to change dates and the staff were super helpful to accommodate it. The Riad itself is beautiful, clean, calm and the rooftop is such a plus. The staff was so welcoming, always there to help or answer any questions. They offered a shuttle from the airport. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were decently sized for two people. Would definitely come back here again.

Czech RepublicA couple of small notes that didn’t affect our desire to return but might be useful for others: Moroccan breakfasts are mostly sweet, which may not suit everyone. Also, we stayed in a large room for four people, and the skylight windows open onto the terrace—meaning if someone is talking outside, you’ll hear it. (Luckily for us, we were usually the ones sitting there!) Overall, we loved everything about this place. Thank you, and we hope to come back!
We had a wonderful stay at this riad! It is truly spotless and beautifully decorated, located in a quiet area while still being within a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Our room was stunning, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. A special mention to Soukayna, who was incredibly kind and always ready to help. She responded to our WhatsApp messages at any time of the day or night, making our stay even more comfortable.
