The room was a little dark but wasn't a big issue

Staff were so so lovely and helpful, they were so accommodating and gave us a free room upgrade! They even went out and got me some medicine when I wasn't feeling well and made us an early breakfast when we had an early excursion. Also their cat was adorable.

The place was in the heart of the medina so it was easy going back and forth. Yassin was so accommodating he picked us up near the mosque since cars can’t go further. He also gave us recommendations and was very helpful! The Riad was so homey and comfortable!

The location and the narrow lanes maybe overwhelming at first with the fear of getting lost but if you stay for a couple of days it gets easier to arrive back to the Riad, even at night.

The Riad was excellent. The room and facilities were exactly as promised. The bath tub was huge and exceeded expectations. The biggest plus point for this Riad is how friendly Yassine and Sami are. Sami especially went above and beyond to source anything I wanted and made sure I had a relaxing holiday.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn’t like! The only thing to be aware of is that Marrakech can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially if it’s your first time visiting. But don’t worry—Sami and Yassine are there to help. They made sure we felt comfortable and even helped us download an offline map so we could easily find our way around.

My girlfriend and I stayed here last month, and honestly, we cannot fault the place. Yassine and especially Sami, the two amazing guys who run the Riad, truly made our stay unforgettable. They were always available, incredibly welcoming, and went out of their way to help us feel at home. Whether it was booking excursions, recommending great restaurants, or simply checking in on us with a warm smile and some delicious Moroccan tea, they were consistently thoughtful and kind. Sami, in particular, made a lasting impression with his friendliness and genuine care. We genuinely can’t wait to come back—not just to enjoy the beautiful Riad again, but to see Sami and Yassine too. They made our trip so special.

Gorgeous Riad so authentic . Really quiet but right in the heart of the Medina. Our room - Matisse - was huge - extremely comfy bed , great air con and excellent shower. What made our visit was the staff - so welcoming. Sammi was exceptionally helpful - served us delicious breakfasts and helped with all our questions and gave us great advice .

Wifi was intermittent - and could be quite hard to find if you don’t have access to Google Maps with data.

Lovely Riad with extremely friendly hosts - situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. They kindly came and collected my friend and I from where our taxi dropped us off. The rooftop terrace is also especially nice - plenty of space with lovely views across the Marrakech skyline.

The pictures from booking don’t always match the room you are actually getting. First night we stayed at a small room and the heating wasn’t working. Issue was solved once we were moved to the suite we had booked, but only in the second part of our stay.

Staff was very attentive and helpful! Adel and Yissim (sorry if I’m misspelling) were super caring. Once we got the issue of our room solved, we stayed in the aubergine suite and it was very pleasant, spacious and warm considering the chilly evenings in Moroccan spring. Breakfast was decent, well located.

Riad Meriem is a little gem amongst the madness of Marrakesh. We had the best time, lovely breakfast, reading and relaxing on the terrace and wandering the medina. Yassine and Adil looked after us so well and nothing was a problem. The property is very stylish and authentic. We will be back, thank you.

I mean internet connection is not the best from your room but it’s working perfect from the terrace and by the pool!

The Riad is beautiful and everyone is very helpful. A truly peaceful place in the centre of medina. Everyone was amazing, Adel was mostly available when we were around. He made suggestions of places to visit, was quick to offer us tea and we had a great time talking to him.

We spent a week here and I have to say that Adel and Yassine are just magnificent. Since we arrived we felt like we were home. Trust their recommendations (hammam and restaurants) all of them were toptoptop. They even gave us a bike ride by the Medina, which is by far the best experience I ever had in Marrakech. Definitely my best trip and stay in the city! Thank you thank you thank you and see you very very soon! :)
