How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified review-Receptionist was really nice. I think thats the main good thing about this riad. Although it was only him all alone for the whole Riad, he did his best to make our stay comfortable. 10/10 for him -Decent breakfast
-Its quite hard to find, if you are coming with luggage, best avoid it, you have to do some walk through the medina to reach as taxi drop off point is a bit far. Its like a maze to find this riad. -No tv in the room, note it is rated as 5 star hotel. -There is only 1 pool (not 2 as mentioned in the description)-Pool was more like a pond, was not clean. -AC was not cooling enough. May be add some pedestal fans -A kettle in the room will be really helpful -The door was partially broken, but we were able to close it properly -The experience of living in another riad during previous visit was much better than this one. -There was a small fridge, which was most likely not working at all. -No bin in the room Not really sure how hotels in Morocco are rated, at best, it is a 3 star not more than that.
Hello and thank you for your feedback, 1 - Our riad is located right in the very heart of the Medina, which is why we offered you a private transfer from the airport to the riad at the rate of €20 — for more comfort and above all to ensure you arrive at the riad in good conditions. This is something you declined. 2 - Please note that televisions are not mandatory, and considering the number of cultural activities we offer, sometimes TV is a luxury one can do without. 3 - It is clearly mentioned in our description that there is only one plunge pool and not two swimming pools. But since you are against the riad, it seems difficult for you to read the descriptions properly. 4 - Regarding the air conditioning, please understand that we are in the middle of August and temperatures in Marrakech reach around 50°C, so yes, the units struggle but they are working. 5 - As for the kettle, it is not essential because we have staff available 24/7 to ensure that any request for drinks is always taken care of. 6 - Regarding the door, we are a fully traditional Moroccan riad with doors that close perfectly well and are not broken, as can be confirmed in previous guest reviews. 7 - If you preferred the other riad you stayed at before, we understand that — but each riad is different. 8 - All our rooms are equipped with trash bins, as well as the bathrooms, but apparently you did not notice them. 9 - Each room has a refrigerator, and all of them work properly. As for the star rating in Morocco, sir, please note that all our reviews are positive, but when a guest shows bad faith like you did, things become complicated. Thank you for coming to visit us, and we wish you all the best.

Verified reviewThe whole Riad is beautiful. And the staff is very friendly.
Riad N’s is really hard to find. Google maps didn’t really helped. The air conditioning is not strong enough during the summer. An extra could help for more comfort :)

Verified reviewThe Riad was an absolute oasis amidst the chaos of Marrakech. The staff were exceptional and let us continue to use their facilities when we had a flight late in the day. We loved the rooftop terrace and the cool plunge pool.

Verified reviewThe location was convenient for exploring Marrakech's old city, Yousef, the staff member, was very helpful and kind. Despite being close to the old city, the value for money was not good
Unfortunately, our stay didn’t meet our expectations. We arrived at the Riad and found that the check-in process was not smooth. We had to wait nearly two hours trying to reach the owner, with no immediate response. What we found was quite different from the photos and description online. The room was very small, with no space to move around the bed — we had to get up from the front side. The air conditioning unit was placed directly in front of the bed, making it uncomfortable to use. There was also a problem with ventilation, and sadly, we noticed ants in the room and used slippers left behind, which raised cleanliness concerns. We specifically chose the riad because a swimming pool was mentioned — especially for our child — but when we asked about it, we were told there wasn’t one available. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not what we expected based on the listing. We hope the property will take these comments seriously and improve the guest experience. This was not the relaxing stay we hoped for. I strongly advise future guests to clarify all details before booking and for the management to urgently improve communication and basic guest

The location is too bad The place is not 5 stars at all I would give it no stars at all I highly recommend people stay away from this location
Furthermore, it's unacceptable. We're a family establishment, and you dared to ask for a masseuse at midnight for an hour, with a finishing touch, please. It's a disgrace to get up in the morning. At noon, for breakfast served until 10 a.m., you asked for another massage. So, sorry, but don't say anything nonsense, because you're disgusting. Thank you and have a good trip. a nice day. I got into an accident from the company they provide us. We didn’t finish anything and left the city to catch the flight straight from desert. And didn’t get any refunds.

Verified reviewLocation is great, short walk everywhere. Staff is lovely and helpful and place is super clean.
Not much for breakfast items apart from bread. Eggs only 2 mornings out of 4, nothing else to replace eggs, just bread and cake, no fruits. Could be better. Lots of bees around the table at breakfast

Verified reviewStunning Riad. We were catered to very well. The roof deck was beautiful and we had a lovely breakfast up there in the morning.
The entrance to the property was down an alleyway and we were approached by a man who told us that the pathway ahead was closed. He then directed us down a dark alleyway and told us we needed to pay him for help. We said we didn’t have money and he left but it was scary for me and my partner.

Verified reviewGot this room because i was uncomfortable in a twin bed so this was more comfortable for one person. The ac worked well in this room as it was not covered up.
The door for the bathroom was way too low and i hit my head on it a few times, and the door was faulty so it wouldn’t close without a ton of force. the shower did not have good temperature control so it was either too hot or too cold. The shampoo did not dispense properly.

Verified reviewIt was pretty, Youssef the host was really nice and helpful, tasty breakfast, and it was quite clean
We booked a double room with 2 single beds, but when we arrived at 10pm it was a double bed and had to separate it ourselves with the help of the host, which wasted time for us. The twin beds were really uncomfortable and small and it was hard to sleep, which meant i had to book myself another double room just so i could be comfortable. The AC of the room was covered in some compartment which meant the room did not cool down. The door for the bathroom was terribly hard to open. I assume its decent quality for a riad but we just didnt have the best time there considering how much we paid. not worth over 100 a night.

Verified reviewThe Riad was amazing, we loved the vibe, the staff, the confort of the room. The staff was so nice and helped us a lot. We had some trips booked early in the morning and they were so kind and prepared a take-away breakfast for us two days in a raw. The breakfast itself was so good, with traditional bread and all kinds of homemade goodies that was served on the rooftop terrace. Also, we needed to use the laundry and even if they didn't had this in-house option, they sent out articles with the towels and bedsheets and we got them back the day after, nice and clean and for a very small price. Quite close to the Riad, few minutes walk is an Exchange office that could be useful if you want to change the currency and has a good exchange rate.
The Riad is in Medina so the cars like taxis cannot drive right in front of a hotel, so you need to have like a 5-10 minutes walk. Also, for some people might seem complicated to find it, since the entire Medina is a maze, but we didn't find it so challenging. However, all the pick-up points and taxis are outside Medina, so you need to plan extra time to get there.
