Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathroom was smelly for a day, which had to be fixed. The allotted room was next to the dinning area and courtyard. There was lot of noise on the first day evening and we could not take rest.
The staff was great. Staff performed exceptionally well, with particular recognition for their courteous approach and guest-centric attitude.

CanadaThis is our second stay in Marrakesh and it was an easy decision to return to Riad Parfum d’Orient. The location is central but above all, the staff are exceptional! A special mention to Nadia who is charming and she will ensure to provide guests with five star service and go out of her way to help! Abdhu, will prepare the best coffee and tea and a copious breakfast to get you on your way! I highly recommend this Riad for anyone who would like to have a memorable stay in Morocco.

Beautiful decorations, not too much and not too little just perfect amount. The location just made our stay 100 times better and the whole atmosphere of the riad was so nice! The rooftop was crazy cool, favourite place to sit in the whole of Marrakech:) Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was five stars. It wasn’t a crazy choice of food but we were not looking for that so it was just on point! Amazing coffee and mint tea as well!

PortugalSounds strange but there is a group of children who play outside the door and kept trying to intimidate or threaten me (trying to grab my phone, yelling things at me, chasing me down the street, etc.). It was uncomfortable!

United KingdomRoom was a bit too small for 2 people, although not critical and we still managed. It faced the inner courtyard where guests have breakfast, so it is not possible to sleep until late as other guests' voices would wake you up. Hot water was limited. We were told that it's 5 mins of hot water, then you need to wait 5 mins. It was a bit different in practice, and on one of the nights I had to take a cold shower after my partner. It's better if you wait for more than 5 mins between the showers. The riad is located in a small backstreet, difficult to find at first even when using a map, and there are no signs. Also, this backstreet is not accessible by car, so you would need to walk to the nearby square to get a taxi (it is only a few mins away, so not a big deal, and it's the same for all riads in the medina).
Nice riad, although the inner courtyard and the rooftop were less impressive than another riad we stayed at. It was quiet at night, we slept well. On some evenings in December, it was a bit cold but the air conditioning helped (once the staff helped us figure out how to use the heating setting), on other evenings we didn't even need it. The extra blanket was warm and helpful. The room was cleaned daily. Hosts/staff were very nice and welcoming. They welcomed us with tea and biscuits and gave a city map. Location is good, the main square is just 10 mins away. Breakfast is included in the price. On some days, it was only bread/pancakes and fruit, on another day we got eggs which was nicer. The local cheese was very nice, and it was the only riad which provided some fruit for breakfast. Note that it's quiet cold in the inner courtyard, we were wearing jackets at breakfast but it was fine for us. You don't get a key for the front door, but instead you knock and staff would open the door quickly, we never had a problem with getting in.

United KingdomTo get to the entrance you have to go under a house bridge and you may get stopped and told your lost. Don’t listen just keep walking, as they are wanting money off you. The shower wasn’t great and the room was a little small but it wasn’t that big a deal.
