Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaWhen you first arrive the streets look a bit shady but then you learn that that's how Marraketch infrastructure is.
The host was wonderful, very nice people. The place is quiet and 100% Morrocco style for an authentic experience.

United KingdomBreakfast Anticipated a better choice with fresh fruit, figs, olives. What was offered was cake, pancakes, bread. Lacking in a healthy option. Coffee and juice good though.

BulgariaIt’s impossible not to like it!!!
The place is amazing—clean, peaceful, and the hosts are truly the most incredible people in the world. The location is beyond perfect! Breakfast was always fantastic—freshly made, warm, and absolutely delicious. The owner is extremely polite and kind, he arranged our airport transfer and even helped us with our luggage when we were leaving, as the riad isn’t accessible by car. Every day, he greeted us with a smile, asked if everything was okay, how our day had been, and even gave us great tips on what else to see and do in Marrakech.

United KingdomAs others have said, it's worth noting this riad is down an alleyway away from the busier streets, which is great for making it a bit quieter, but can be daunting as a solo traveller (it is well lit, however).
Charming little riad with very friendly, helpful staff. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, and the staff helped arrange a taxi for me back to the airport, which all went smoothly.

United KingdomThere is no soundproofing. You can hear every conversation and noise is waking you up. Staff mostly speaking French but trying to help you so it’s fine.
I liked the breakfast and room decorations. Location is really good. If it is your first time in the city it is a bit difficult to find but if you can find the street with signs of riads you can locate it easily. We had to leave the riad early 2 days because of our tours and they gave us packed food for breakfast, very kind staff and owner.

PolandI wasn't happy with the breakfast, it was just jam, bread and a cake. I saw someone with fruits but we didn't get any. My friend wanted tea and coffee and it was not possible (or you had to pay extra) but we weren't informed about it. A.bit challenging to find the place but people on the street helped.
The house is beautiful, great location, super friendly staff. It is traditional riad house, very impressive

First of all thanks Rashi, for your hospitality. It was our first time in Marrakesh and we were there in a Holiday period which means almost Everything was close. However, Rashi the owner was really helpful with everything, we felt safe and comfortable all the time. When we arrived, we felt super welcomed and he gave us a map with all the information about the city and every time when we asked him about something he was kind and helpful all the time and the staff as well. The location was great, and the rooms beautiful and tidy all the time, super quiet, perfect temperature and the breakfast delicious. We definitely come back! Thank you!

GermanyThe people were super friendly and helpful. We stayed on fhe first floor and it is much more fresh than upstairs, which is good during the high temperatures. The breakfast was very good and could be taken from the terrace. For the ones coming by car, there is a covered parking 24/7 8min away from the hotel called Parking Voitures (check it out in Google maps). Better to park there and walk than around the hotel, it is a bit chaotic.

United KingdomRoom was quite small and also no door separating toilet and bedroom bit hard for privacy.
Nice cosy Riad located about 10 min walk from the Medina or 20 min walk to the main square. Lots of shops, restaurants and food stalls close by. The roof top area was lovely, we sat and chilled there for hours. Clean room, hot water, decent size double bed.
