Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

This was my 3rd time staying in this Riad and I will continue to return. The location is great as it is a safe street near one of the palaces so there are guards along the street at all times as well as a hospital at the end of the street, if needed. It is a short 10 minute walk to the square. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always amazing. As always we enjoyed the food. It is definitely worth asking them to cook lunch or dinner for your group and also the breakfast is always great, both presentation wise and quality. I will always refer anyone who asks to Riad Rose Meryam.

United KingdomVery little not to like, and although the rooms could do with a bit of TLC, there is little to complain about.
The place is a small haven , down a small alley, but only 20 minutes walk from the heart of Marrakesh. Quiet and peaceful, the beautiful riad looks after you. with exceptional breakfasts, and if you ask, you can get a dinner as well. the cook, and other staff are so helpful, and everything is made easy for you. stayed there twice, and if given a choice, I will stay again. The rooms have the feel of the 1920s about them :) plus there is a lovely roof terrace, to sit, watch the stars and listen to the children playing in the alley below

United KingdomMy only suggestion would be for light sleepers, as it is essentially an old home, the walls are thin and light also travels. But I expect this in a Riad and luckily our baby slept through. But this might be more challenging for others.
Lovely staff, good location, beautiful space, calm and relaxing - gorgeous terrace. Breakfast was delicious!!

IcelandThe staff was so nice! Such wonderful and helpful people. Gave us tea when we arrived. The Riad was as the pictures showed, beautiful and really clean. Our room was amazing, comfortable beds and a really nice shower:) The location was easy to find and only a 15 minute walk from the square, restaurants and markets downtown.

United StatesI have nothing but praise for my stay at Riad Rose Meryam. Zineb and her staff were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to assist with every request. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and satisfying—perfect fuel for exploring the bustling, chaotic streets of Marrakech. My room was clean and well cared for, adding to the comfort of my stay. As a family-run Riad, it offered a truly authentic and exceptional experience.

GermanyDid not bother us, but in case someone wants to sleep in bring ear buds, because there is a mosque right next to the riad. The prayer calls are pretty loud 5 times a day starting from shortly after 7am to 8-9 pm in the evening.
Very nice staff. Great breakfast and lunch. Beautiful riad in a generally quiet alley. Very nice terrace where you can chill. Close enough to the Medina that you can walk there.

CanadaThe wi-fi did not work in the room. We informed the staff, but the issue wasn't fixed through our stay. The parking situation was also very confusing; we almost got a fine for parking outside the Riad.
It was very authentic, staff was very friendly, and room had an interesting decor. The breakfast was amazing! The entire Riad was very clean and well managed. The location was great, too - close to the tourist district.

United KingdomThe Riad provided everything a traveler to Marrakesh dreams of. Exceptional hospitality, stunningly designed rooms, a convenient location just a short stroll from the city center, and a charming courtyard. The owner, Zainab, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. And let’s not forget the delicious tahini lunch prepared by her mother, which was served upon our arrival. The lunch is an experience you won’t want to pass up!

BelgiumNothing, to be honest. We do not have any remarks, maybe just a small one that the contact person in the riad is not always available at sight. But for sure no major issue at all.
The riad is a beautiful place; typical and well located just outside the Medina of Marrakech but very close so we did everything by foot. The place is small but beautiful, the rooms are well decorated, the bathrooms are nice and clean. We had an amazing typical Moroccan diner upon our arrival. Breakfast is well served with fresh orange juice, nice Moroccan pancakes, bread, fruit, different choice of Jam, ... It can only recommend this place and would return myself. Also the place was very quiet at night. And has a nice rooftop.

I love this riad, it was the second time I stayed there. There is a room with a little terrace, the common terrace is very nice and the staff doesn't speak any foreign languages (only the owner speaks french) but we understand each another very well. Very good breakfast. Absolute cleanliness!

CroatiaWe would maybe prefer to stay at the upper floor to have access to upper terrace and have more privacy. Would be great if there was a kettle available in rooms.
Riad Rose Meryam was beautifully furnished and rooms were really nice and cozy. Staying here was very authentic - riad is decorated in Moroccan style and the inner courtyard with fountain and beautiful black and white tiles, just gorgeous. Nice lady welcomed us with tea and cakes everyday. We communicated mainly with the landlady because other staff didn't speak English but we managed to understand each other anyway. Position was great to explore palaces and souks in the Medina. All in all we had a nice stay here!
