Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Lovely traditional Riad.Very clean and great facilities. My room was nice spacious and airy with a great outlook over the courtyard pool. The breakfasts were nice sitting around the pool also.I particularly liked the quirkiness of the shower which I have attached a photo. At my time of visit it was s sweltering 45 degrees and the AC unit in my room packed in.Aicha had an engineer out right away fixing it.

Riad Safia is Beautiful! It’s even better than the pictures, with really comfortable beds. A lovely cool, quiet and comfortable oasis from the busy streets outside! With lovely refreshing pool. Aisha is so kind and welcoming, and couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in Marrakesh and helped us navigate the 20 minutes walk to Jemaa El-Fnaa square. Breakfast was delicious and they even helped with collecting us to and from where the taxi dropped us. Only a couple of minutes walk but we would have struggled to find it on our own!

CanadaGreat hosts!! They genuinely want you to enjoy! The lady that works there was incredibly sweet and was so caring, and the man was very helpful with arranging taxis, printing out boarding passes and being a bit of a tour guide. I would 100% recommend! The rooms were rustic but very Moroccan and I had a great experience!

United KingdomI liked everything about this property!
I stayed at this riad during my trip to Marrakesh and honestly, it was perfect. Tucked away in the medina, it felt like a calm little hideaway from the busy streets outside. The moment I walked in, I was greeted so warmly—it really felt like coming home. The riad itself is gorgeous—charming, peaceful, and full of beautiful little details. My room was spotless, with lovely traditional touches that made it feel really special. The whole place had this laid-back, welcoming vibe that I absolutely loved. The staff were amazing—so kind and helpful, always happy to give help with anything I needed. They really went out of their way to make my stay feel special. If you’re heading to Marrakesh and want a beautiful, peaceful place to stay right in the middle of it all, I can’t recommend this riad enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!

United KingdomThe rooms were more impressive than the photos showed, especially our room with the beautiful ceiling. The outdoor spaces - courtyard and terrace - were lovely. The terrace has loungers, shaded sitting area and large table and chairs, Breakfast was freshly made warm crepe/fried bread plus rolls with honey and jam. There are only 5 rooms, so it is quiet and intimate. The area is 'real' Medina - local vendors selling their produce at the side of the road, donkeys and carts and mopeds and cats and people somehow finding space to go about their business. But only 15-20 minutes to the main square. Aicha is just the best hostess, whose aim is to help every guest enjoy their time in the City.

NigeriaNothing apart from the two men from the Nabour hood that disturbed us a bit when we were trying to locate the place insisting that we give them tips but after speaking with the lady managing the Riad , she apologised even though the situation was not her fault, she even went on to speak to the guys in question asking them not to bother her guests again, we became completely settled and happy. I will recommend this place for anyone, for your Moroccan Riad vibes and hospitality
The property was a good value for money and has this Morocco’s rich architectural design. The staffs were amazing and very happy especially the lady in charge, she went extra mile so many times to assist us, The breakfast was amazing.

United KingdomRiad Safia was exactly what I needed in Marrakech — a calm, modest place to rest my head each night after exploring a stunning city. The decor is beautiful in its simplicity, the bed comfortable and the atmosphere homely. The riad is based in Bab Aylan, a traditional neighbourhood of the medina - a part yet untouched by the touristy hustle and bustle of the souks/Jemaa el-Fnaa, which are a 15 minute walk away. I was greeted by the hosts Aicha and Abderrahim at the airport itself and Aicha made me feel completely at home straight away, as we spoke about different topics and she answered any questions I had. Throughout my stay, Aicha was always available with a warm smile, happy to chat, give advice, or just check in to see how my visit to Marrakech was going. Abderrahim is a kind soul and Saida was also friendly, both were very accommodating and are real assets to the riad. All three were more than happy to help with anything and everything throughout my stay. Riad Safia is a place of real warmth and personality, the kind of place where you feel looked after. If I ever return to Marrakech, I know exactly where I'll be staying!

United KingdomI prefer a softer, flatter pillow, but other than that, our stay was perfect.
Fabulous traditional Moroccan breakfast. Gorgeous room and I especially loved the bathroom - loads of hot water and good water pressure. Unfortunately it was too cold due to it being winter, to make use of the pool. Aicha was a brilliant host. She was very kind when my husband got food poisoning. Very helpful with lots of tips. Friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the location - a 15 min walk to the Djemma Ed-Fnaa through a really traditional part of the city - not at all touristy which we loved. Felt safe at all times.

Lovely oasis a 5 minute walk from the Medina wall. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Terrace with views across the rooftops. A 25 minute walk to Djeema el fna but this in itself was a great way to see and experience the less touristy spots of the Medina. Thoroughly recommend!
