I like that the staff were very helpful and very hospitable. Any scenario you present, they proffered a solution. Be it, getting a driver, directions, laundry etc

I didn’t like that it was a much longer walk to the Medina. About a 15 minutes walk. It’s really tucked into the old neighborhood. It would work for people that want an immersive experience, who like a rustic environment and also want to experience the day to day living of the locals.

Wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and offered us traditional Moroccan tea on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend

Could breakfast be served a little earlier

Breakfast was good, choice of drinks and food, including eggs. .

I don't think the orange juice was freshly squeezed, that would have been a nice touch

We had a great time staying in the Riad. Hafid organised a taxi to pick my parents up from the airport and bring them to the Riad which meant they had a hassle free arrival. He provided some great advice in regards to getting around the Medina which can appear to be daunting to begin with. He was available to answer any questions and provided his phone number so I was able to text him at any time and he responded quickly. We also booked a private car to take us up to the Ourika Valley which we enjoyed. The breakfast was lovely and rooms clean and comfortable. Staying in the Medina can be a bit of a culture shock to start with but we loved the hustle and bustle of it all. Its about a 10 - 15 min walk to the main square and we did feel safe when there. Also able to retreat to the Riad and relax on rooftop.

Excellent location - around 15 minutes walk to the centre but quiet and safe. Lovely setting and so welcoming. I’d recommend getting dinner there especially if arriving late - has to be pre booked.

    All was good.

Located in the Medina you walk down a dusty lane and enter a beautiful Riad. The accommodation and breakfasts were great and one evening we had a great meal. Best thing about the stay was the wonderful staff, Hafid, the manager, is second to none, he could not have been more helpful, from carrying cases to arranging trips and restaurant visits. The woman who cooked and cleaned was also great. Great stay been recommending to all my friends. Thank you 🙏

Amazing and beautiful riad. Hafid was an amazing host! We enjoyed the rooftop and pool a lot. Hafid served us delicious mint tea when we arrived and gave us some advice for navigating the area when we arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Everything is easily walkable from the riad. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Riad, out-of the main hustle and bustle of the souks and square, but easy to access them and all the areas of the medina that you would want to see. Very friendly and helpful staff, Hadid and Najat are great, very welcoming and provide a lovely atmosphere.

No faults, really enjoyed our stay.

Riad Safir Marrakech was exactly what I was expecting. It smelled beautiful, the architecture was traditional, the room was my home away from home and Hafid and the mom of the Riad were like my mum and dad. We stayed for 6 days my friend and I and we had a good size room and with a double and single bed on the top floor. The shutters closed fully so even though it was bright blazing sun, you felt like it was still night time so you could sleep all day after a long night! 😅 There wasn’t any oat milk as I’m allergic to cows milk but Hafid arranged for a taxi driver for us on several nights and he stopped at a grocery store so I could get some but he’s promised next time there will be oat milk at the Riad! 🥰🙏 The breakfast was simple and needs more fruits because I don’t eat breads so early in the morning. My friend loved the coffee but I brought my own as I always take mine everywhere I go. The pool was lovely as a cold plunge after tanning or walking out in the medina. It was a bit tricky for the airport taxi to find the Riad as it took so long for me to get out of customs so I had to take another taxi but it was all in good fun. Surprisingly the little streets of the medina are on Google maps so you can get directions to walk from the Riad to the square. After the 3rd day we knew the way by heart. After 6 days there it felt like home. My first trip to Morocco and the people are so friendly and welcoming. Staying in the Medina is definitely an experience. It’s not like the rest of modern Marrakech. It reminded me of being back home in Guyana and very very different to London where I live now! If you order a taxi from the Riad it’s 20€ but if you walk up to Bab Aylan entrance of the wall (7 mins walk) you can flag down a taxi from the motorway. Would definitely stay here again. 💚

Would be nice to have a little fridge in the room to keep water and food.

Amazing stay, the hosts are very nice and helpful. The riad is located in a non-tourist area, but very close to one - just enough to explore and see a few local streets, but not get lost or uncomfortable in the night. We also highly recommend to book the excursions (to the deserts etc.) right there from Hafid, the host, as you won’t have to worry about transfer and it will most probably be cheaper than the online offers for the identical program. Also, don’t hesitate to reserve a dinner from Najat, it will be delicious and totally worth the price; for us having a meal by the pool at quiet was a nice break from charming, but sometimes exhausting Marrakesh.

The walls aren’t too soundproof, but this in only an issue if your neighbors are noisy, as overall area is quite at night.

The staff were lovely! It‘s a very traditional-feeling Riad. Location is a little further from the action, but it worked fine for us! Worked well for us for two nights.

It was a little tricky to find - we needed help the first time.

Friendly host who speak English well and is very easy reachable. Host gives good tips. Location is near locals (fun!) and central to many must see spots in Marrakech by foot. Lady who cooks and cleans is also very friendly and helpful. Together they make you feel very welcome. This riad is a place of peace and quiet. Lovely and tasty breakfast! Good wifi. Would definitely recommend this riad and visit again. Little bonus is the riad mascotte, Hank the tiny turtle.

The beds where really hard and ready for an update to our opinion, yet this is partly personal preference so not everyone would feel this way. We would still recommend this riad for sure!

The Riad is beautiful, the courtyard and the swimming pool are like a litttle oasis in the middle of the chaotic city of Marrakech. We had a famlily suite with a balcony facing the courtyard and a double room, the rooms are big and very nicely decorated in traditional Moroccan style, it looked like we were part of the One Thousand and One Nights. The breakfast was very nice. The best thing though was the hospitality provided by Hafid, he really went above and beyond when we needed something. The day we arrived it was our little daughter's birthday so I contacted him the day before to see where we could find her a birthday cake, he offered to prepare the cake with the ingredients she likes the most for a very reasonable price. We asked as well to have dinner. The dinner was not only delcious but it was the most tasteful tajine and full of flavor we had during our whole time in Marrakech. Then it was a very special moment when he brought the birthday cake for our daughter while playing in the living room a happy birthday song. My daughter who was not expecting any of this was completely surprised, smiling and feeling so happy! The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated with her name. As well during our time in the Riad our son experienced an allergic reaction due to a cross contamination food allergy from something we brought with us for the flight. Hafid asked someone who was at that time in the Riad who happened to be a nurse, and she immediately told us what medicine to get in a pharmacy. Hafid offered himself to run to the pharmacy and as it was closed he went to find an open one. Fortunately our son got much better after having the medicine. We also had a tour of the medina with a guide that Hafid recommended us. He was very helpful and thanks to him we discovered places that otherwise if would have been difficult to find on our own. We had a wonderful time at Riad Saffir and we will definetely go back our next time we want to travel to Marrakech.
