Clean room, very nice stuff, Location in Medina, absolutely no surprises Good breakfast

Rooms are a part of a riad. Due to this it was a bit noisy (anyway only from the inner courtyard). Upper roof terrace occupied by Ac units

I had problems with the place. When I arrived, they told me everything was fully booked and they didn’t know how you managed to make a reservation. They had to take me to another RIAD and asked me to pay for that one too. So I had to pay for two RIADs. This is the kind of trick they do, many times, with many RIADs. I don’t like this at all because it’s not the first time it has happened to me. They were terrible.

Everything was perfect : the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the location was central and super convenient (less than 10 min walk of the main square from where all the excursions start). The place was stunning, the rooftop is so pleasant at night, the air-conditioning works perfectly. The cleaning is done everyday with such great care. And another note about the staff : they really really make you feel at home, treat you like family it's was really an absolute pleasure to meet them. We will definitely go back there when we go back to Marrakech 💖

Strategic location and not even 30 meters from the souk’s narrow streets, spotless cleanliness, and rooms that reflect a true and authentic Riad style. But the real strength of this place is the people who work there. Beyond their extremely valuable advice, they are warm and helpful — we spent a long time chatting with them, and they are truly fantastic individuals. Breakfasts on the terrace are spectacular and plentiful. The pool is small but refreshing. I’m totally satisfied with this experience.

The day of arrive they told us that they don't have rooms for three people (we've booked and contacted the riad weeks ago). So they told us to pay 35 euros to add extra bed (so they do the mistake and we have to pay?). The reservation included 2 king size bed for three people. The riad said that was fault of booking.com (I don't think that booking chooses which rooms to rent). So we've found another riad because neither booking.com helped us and I think it's shameful that nobody refund us. Stay away from this riad is the best think you can do in Marrakech.

Had a pleasant stay at Riad Sanwa. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the location was convenient. Overall very good experience. Would consider staying again.

The room was almost ok (but reaching the bed wasn't comfortable). The toilet was ... embarrassing: the smallest I have ever seen : it was not even 2 square meters - when you shower the whole bathroom is inundated with water !

I had a great experience at this location. The pool was lovely, and my room was adorable. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe during my stay. Yaya, a staff member, was absolutely fantastic. He is truly an amazing person who made me feel very welcomed and was exceptionally helpful. I will definitely return.

Yaya was the host that greeted me when I arrived; he was incredibly welcoming and you could tell that he was passionate about ensuring his guests had a relaxing stay at the Riad. One of my favorite memories from my solo trip was just having tea and chatting on the rooftop for a little while after I checked in. He also had great ideas to improve the Riad, adding a room, improving certain furniture, etc. which showed me they are constantly looking for improvement even though the stay itself was already fantastic. The solo room I had came with a great view of the little pool below and it was a perfect size for one person.

Everything was perfect, a very beautiful place with very good people with a lot of hospitality. We will come back for sure!

I recommend the Riad 100%. Not only to mention the strategic position but also due to the way it is kept. Really clean, really peaceful(even being in the centre of Medina) and strategically placed near excursions pick up. How not to mention the terrace; a great spot to relax at the end of the day. The best of it all refers to the guys who manage the Riad. Super friendly and super helpful about everything you need. They will make your journey a better journey.

Nothing to complain about

We had a great stay at Riad Sanwa. It is in a very central and convenient location. The Riad is just as described and comfortable. The staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Especially Yaya, who picked us up from the taxi and showed us his recommendations for a nearby restaurant and shop. The breakfast was of a good quality and very tasty. Would definitely recommend this Riad!

Riad Sanwa is absolutely amazing! It is at the centre of the Medina, a walking distance from most of the tourists attractions and restaurants in Marrakesh. The Riad is clean and serene which is great for when you have spent all day in the busy and sunny atmosphere of Marrakesh. Once you enter the Riad, there is no noise at all, which is great if you want to take a nap or just relax. I absolutely loved the decor of the Riad, I took so many pictures! 🤭 My room was perfect and the bed was very comfy! I wasn't expecting a lot when I booked the place and didn't know if the reviews were genuine about how hospitable the staff members were. I can testify that the staff members (Mohammed, Fatima, Yahia) were exceptionally excellent! They were very accommodating and ready to help always! They were very professional but friendly and they respected my personal space, which I really appreciated. Very polite and once again professional! The breakfast was enough and satisfying for one person. I always left the table very full and happy! I received sliced banana with my breakfast one morning, something that I really appreciated. I would suggest for fruits to be included as a standard everyday (this is just because I love fruits, maybe not everyone appreciates fruits though). I absolutely recommend Riad Sanwa! I can't praise it enough! Looking forward to visiting it again soon! ☺️

The location is good. The room had everything we needed.

We had to wait for the host to open the riad and let us in around 10 minutes on the street at night. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep. We were not offered to have breakfast 30 min earlier than it was established. The blankets were a bit tired. Also, be careful with people offering you to help you with your luggage, they don´t work in this riad and ask you for 20 euros for carrying your luggage for 2 minutes.

The property was in a great location! Both Simo and Yaya were great hosts, helping with everything we required.

I think the property could be cleaner. If you walked barefoot on the floor you could feel dust. The bathroom also was not 100% clean.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Riad during a recent business trip to Marrakech, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around and soak in the vibrant energy of Marrakech. But what truly set this stay apart was the hospitality. Hamza, Yahya, Mohammed, and Fati—each of them went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. From the warm greetings to the thoughtful little touches, their kindness and attentiveness made me feel more like a guest in their home than a visitor. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and I left with nothing but gratitude. Highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but an experience to remember.

The blankets are a bit too old and the pillows had a smell. It would be great to invest in new linens

Great location inside medina - 5min walk from the pickup point for various tours outside Marrakesh, also all attractions in medina are reachable on foot. Very helpful staff. Mohamed is such a nice guy. He really made my stay memorable.

The bed in the single room was small for tall person.
